- Here's my supra on startup, revving, and how it sounds with stock exhaust. I would also note that the engine was already warmed before this video, so it wasn't cold or dry when taken up to 7000 rpm. As you can see, the 1ggte is very smooth and calm, but takes to boost very well. via UA-cam Capture

Yes, it was very slow, especially compared to the 1j it replaced . Maybe too slow (maybe something was wrong)? It never really felt like it made much boost

Question what motor mounts did you use, because I got a 90 supra and the mounts that I bought didn't fit?
Probably factory 1ggte. And Supra subframes changed after 89
The motor came out of a Soarer, I think I just used the mounts that it came with

It came factory in the car probably
Long story short, the 1j that was in the car blew and it was cheaper to replace with the 1g than to repair the 1j
