Bought mine a couple weeks ago, received it this last week, assembled it today. The only difference between what I received and this video was that my headlight was in a separate box.
This vid was great except for the charging info. I read the manual but it didn't explain those little squares on the side of the battery. Are they suppose to light up while charging to indicate how far along the charging process is. Red light is on.
Apparently not. Got mine yesterday and went thru the same confusion. This indicator does NOT work if the power switch is OFF. Ride1Up customer support yesterday told me that pushing the side indicator button should show 3 green and 1 red light (in that order). The heads-up display, when the bike is powered-on, shows accurate charging capacity.
Is anyone going insane trying to install the front wheel? The axle keeps sliding everywhere and nothing will stay in place, making it a nightmare to align the fram.
I was having the same issue. In the video they pull out a plastic yellow tab from the brake rotor. My tab was black so I thought it was apart of the break. Once I pulled this tab out the wheel went on super easily.
Why is the chain so tight ? Lots of people that have purchased this bike are having to buy a longer chain or add more links to make it longer... And for god sake stop using FEDEX shipping service as they do not take care of the heavy packages like this . I would rather pay a bit more for a better service .
If you think your chain is too short or if there is any issue with transit damage, please contact us and share pictures. The bikes are packed robustly, so in most cases the bike is completely fine even if the box shows signs of damage. We have tried other shipping providers and found FedEx takes the best care. ride1up.com/contact
It can definitely climb big hills, it's got a lot of power. If you want a better understanding if it will meet your needs, reach out to our sales team: ride1up.com/contact
I'll update. Gotta be like 5.6 or more. Mine worked for 2 blocks and stopped. Has power but won't move. No one to call all emails. Slow. Like call me and we'll troubleshoot. I'm just sitting here staring at a 2500 unless bike. Waiting. Make it right!!!!!Went 2 blocks
Just assembled my rev1 a few days ago @ride1up. I’ve adjusted my brakes but part of the front disc is scrapping on something. It’s not the sides of the disc but top of disc. Any ideas on how to trouble shoo?
loosen up the bolts on the caliper then squeeze the brakes simultaneously. while at that, tighten the bolts while holding the brake levers. hope that helps!
I hope you figured it out. I noticed that Ride1Up didn't respond to you so I figured I would. Most of the time bike calipers are the same. Find the two bolts that you see in this guys video and do the same on the revv1. ua-cam.com/video/Ym8mreUhelQ/v-deo.html
If you're thinking about buying this product, don't, I bought this e bike, and it came shipped with a broken rear hub wheel that wobbles dangerously when it spins I contacted them about the problem through email, and it's been 2 days since with no response Their products are not quality inspected, and their customer service is a pile of dog doo doo 💩 They also won't give you refunds in their policy if you use the bike, but you have to try the bike to see if it works Anyways I'm super disappointed, If you like headaches, broken bikes and non-existent customer service, I would definitely give these guys a try cause you'll love them
They’re customer service is so laggy like idk what is going on. My rear wheel locked up because my chain was too tight, they need to do some serious QC
@@DerekWicks I’m dealing with the tight chain/ loose freewheel problem that everyone else is having. Everyone else is saying the same thing, that they’re sending parts for you to fix it. They obviously know there’s a production problem and they still want you to fix it. Not something I want to be doing after almost spending 3k on my new bike. Especially after only 2 days of owning it.
I'm starting to get a little nervous about my purchase. At first it seemed like this was a great alternative to super73 now I'm realizing they stick the customer with faulty bikes and the buyer is left holding the responsibility bag on a 2k+ item. I don't think it's right that refunds are not offered if the bike quality isn't up to safety standards. I saw a review about someone falling and getting hurt after a fork cracked out of no where. That's no ok.
@@MartinejaCoats manufactured issues happen all the time, just look at super 73’s ratings, they’re not that positive overall. Just make sure they include the 120 link chain and change it out and you’re good
I'm buying on. And that price. Chefs kiss!..
Can you please do a video on how to fill up the suspension with air, for those of us who never have done this before

The mentioned of a solar charger got my attention..🤔

My rear wheel is completely stuck, only 5 miles on it, a day of riding..
what ended up happening?
@@jacobjakubek1076 They sent the correct chain, and I was able to tighten the freewheel back, install new chain and its all good to go
Quality control issues Not Good
With the center cage on, where is a good place to string a chain lock through?

Does this have Regen?
Don't think so. If you are interested in a somewhat similar bike with regenerative breaking, have a look at the Lyric Graffiti.
