Your tyre fitter is a proper gezzer he needs to have a bigger part in the weekly explaining his week. I agree with another viewer suggesting a building over the tyre fitting area. Love my weekly dose of Ashville on each Sunday morning.
Im in a trailer hiring industry & as much as this channel is about construction it actually inspired a couple of ideas that i ended up executing. I might not watch this channel religiously like i used to but it still provides great content & inspiration. Much respect, all the way from 🇿🇦 🇿🇦🇿🇦
Hello Daniel, eventually for the tyre fitter when it comes to the winter and we’re going to have to put up a shelter for him to do his work. Eventually, obviously the weather is good right now but when it comes to winter and it’s pouring down with rain quite a bit and it’s windy, cold and probably snowy is best. Ideal to put that plan ahead if you can give him some shelter when he does his work.
Why don't you lot leave the guy alone, he's entitled to suggest something. Also, @CG01610, it's SOMEONE not ONE SOME, you know, seeing as we are pointing out other peoples comments.
Use these screws from WURTH to screw through the ply into the steel. They use a normal drill and can go through up to 20mm steel plate. Best thing I've seen. Takes about 40 to 50 seconds to drill but are very good. Australia represent 🇦🇺 PIAS® WING-TYPE DRILLING SCREW, FLAT COUNTERSUNK MILLING HEAD WITH AW DRIVE
Hey Daniel, awesome videos. I’ve learnt so much even though I’m not in construction. Had a similar problem with punctures in a yard I used to work in, we bought a magnetic sweeper - basically a large magnet on wheels you can push around. Reduced our punctures significantly, especially in summer. All the best, Ed (Brisbane, Australia) 21:53
Daniel, no sprinkler systems work on smoke - the movies lie to you. They all have a small glass tube in them which explodes when a certain temperature is reached. This tube holds in place an end cap which then falls off allowing the water to flow. Different tubes have different temperature ratings so they can be used in saunas etc.
I feel your pain with TFL. Absolute madness what they are doing to London. With the ULEZ extension it will ruins many many smaller companies who can't afford to make costly changes. 😢
Dan you could look at low access chassis like the Mercedes Econic or Dennis Elite (volvo engined) for your next purchases . No need for a London door . Incidentally Dennis were putting glazing in the lower part of the nearside door in 1988 . So it's a Dennis door not a London door . 😉
M.A Ponsonby’s has some seriously cool stuff in their fleet.. even down to Scania T cabs (obviously ones that have been converted as they haven’t officially made them since 2006 if I remember correctly)
Dan you should go to Japan and do a video. Their wagons are incredible, nothing too special regards kit but so clean literally shined like a mirror. Drivers in spotless overalls. Even saw a few with white gloves!! Sites are so clean and they always have loads of guys with flags around all sites. There are massive plant factories too. I reckon you could get a tour...
Come on Daniel, MA Ponsonby are from Staffordshire not Limerick! The tag on the trucks a reference to its original owners, Ponsonby have some of the best tackle on the road, well worth you looking them up and taking a trip to Mikes site for a tour and a look at the Bull Nose Scania he and the team have lovingly restored! Keep up the great vlogs 👍 👏👏👏🥂🥂🥂
What about a container canopy cover for Mr T(yres), you've got containers so would be a cheap way to give a very crucial member of the team a bit of shelter in his outdoor office 😉
each time daniel in the car park by the workshop n heading bk to the office there is a lovely motorcycle, it looks one smart bike.... always loving the videos n tenned to watch the same video few times
Daniel - The Refurbishment Project "you should" use a "Water Mist Sprinkler System" for fire and smoke suppression as recommended by insurance companies for domestic installtions. Traditional Sprinkler Systems causes to much water damage.
Great vlog Daniel….a mix of everything. I’m a SME in a project to build a new secure children’s home and planners have stated that the build requires a sprinkler system which the kids will set off all the time so your solution of the ATS heat sensitive system has made my day….👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽😎
Morning Daniel, All at Ashville and Subcribers. Daniel, did the 2 trains of Type 1 and 1 train of Sand/Gravel arrive in the Yard as said would-noticed its been a while and am missing the trains😢 Happy Belated Birthday to Yianni, and I’m sure you’ll get on that list to own that new car Daniel😊 Thank you for everything you bring us, as always. Have a great week ahead everyone. Take Care😊❤
In relation to the DVS star rating of your tippers etc, go back to scania and give them the chassis number. They will then be able to give you confirmation of the star rating, as the TFL system is not always up to date. If Scania tell you its a 3 star, send their confirmation to TFL who will update the records. Its possible your lorries were 2 star fitted from factory, but had the extras fitted at the dealership and the star rating not updated on their system to reflect this.
Always a pleasure to watch on Sunday I'm still here and have been since the beginning and will be for as long as Asheville continues to grow. The patch between the railway is a pain in the backside job needs to be done over the weekend not a simple pour either need to protect the rails with shuttering and need to go deep enough to put a substantial depth of concrete otherwise it's just going to get destroyed as it's such a high traffic area and all of this work guess wot it's unpaid which hardly motivates a man. Do network rail get involved as it's protecting they're tracks or is it completely down to Asheville as it's in you yard
Daniel, you're obviously a very hardworking person, and to maintain that over the years is what brings success. My question is, if you could pick one thing that motivates you the most, what would it be?
Hey Ashville quick question where do you get the rubber mats from for between the railway track so you can drive across them and I work for a company in Devon which repairs and manufactures rail wheel sets for some of the big freight companies and thought you might be interested in seeing the process
If you are looking to where the future energy provision for a plant and hgv then go to JCB and see what they have already done...... I let you look but its not electrickery.
Hi Daniel, I heard you talk about how the concrete will be at about 90% of its strength after 14 days, I’ve been doing my Uni dissertation about concrete with additives like silica and graphene, have you looked at this to help the concretes curing time ?
Hi just watched your video and u mention your lorries not neing 3 star for TFL and you say they are, was wondering if number 5 on the new regs is missing from your trucks
Um, doesn't that diving board be high enough above the water that a person coming up to the surface beneath it doesn't hit their head (and go unconscious, sink and drown)?
Hope everything’s going okay, just looked on companies house and Ashville Aggregates is currently in liquidation. Owing HMRC over £600,000.00, the local council £65,000.00 and nearly £30,000.00 to Barclays 😥
I asked what the reason for it was as it’s a shame as Daniel does work hard and is open about everything but it was deleted at least 6 times 😂. ASHVILLE DESIGNATED LIMITED owes 793K to HMRC also
Great video 👌🏻 blue truck AND reg plate gave the native county away of the truck driver 🤔😃 Does the customer have to pay extra for the half a tree delivered with digger OR just a downside of delivering with a hook lift 🤔😂
Very inspiring as always! Love to see the progress. By the way, whatever happened to Simon and Julia? They still work over there? And glad to see Will still makes appearances after he left.

"Or you spend half of the money, and then you dont get what you want and it bothers you every time you look at it" flashes to a picture of Terry LOL
Haha ... saw that too.

Surely that's in Terry's favour
That never gets old!

I think that the tyre fitter deserves a new T-shirt🤣 Ashville one of course.
Glad you are on the list for a new Ford Fiesta

Could you give an explanation as to why ashville aggregates have been put into liquidation and there’s a company called aggregates and concrete?
A few people have asked the same….
Probably just incorporated the Seprate Aggregates and Concrete business under one name
The tyre guy is a grafter, one of the hardest jobs in the industry 😬
Loving the foliage on the eight ton delivery.. lol

Good luck with TFL. I was a passenger in CL on Thursday for the first time in 10 years and I’m glad I wasn’t driving and I never will again.
R&M won't cover tracking needed due to drivers clumping kerbs. 21:24
Exactly, a lot is down to the state of the roads and yards being driven on and the drivers.
