    Stem cell tech is, uh, “experimental” at best. I’d be concerned at getting that sort of treatment as it will be extremely expensive but also right now there isn’t a lot of evidence from studies to demonstrate positive outcomes. Perhaps in the future, 10-15 years down the line, it will be more reliable…

    16:00 On a serious note, I had a car accident a few years ago and had nerve damage in my neck and back all the way to numbness in my hands and legs. My doctors recommended stem cell therapy with steroid injections. Partially due to my size and partially due to the nerve damage being with the physical. I did my research to a degree (I trust my doctors) and it was the option that had the highest benefit with the least amount of catastrophic negatives. Now two years after the end of my therapy it's like the accident never happened, your results may vary obviously but it is an option, it's just going to probably be the most expensive one. But then what is your physical well being worth.

    There is an American veteran named Crispy who was severely injured on an overseas deployment and has lived in agony with his injuries for years. He recently did a UA-cam video on SC treatments in Columbia and raved about the success it had on his quality of life. Well worth a watch if you're considering going that way.
    Thanks for the video too. Cheers

    I am not sure how insurance works, you go to your broker who then goes to Lloyds. You talk about keeping costs down, all brokers go to Lloyds and get commision, I wonder what their comisions are, if 10 percent look at the savings. It is the same principle about any purchasing, whatever you buy whether its sand, rocks, diesel, it is all gamesmanship, playing one against another.
    I see that you are still driving yourself wasting precious time being unproductive. Cars seem to massage your ego, You do not see Alan Sugar driving himself, he is too busy doing business. The only thing Alan drives is his super yacht in the Med with his family.

In my experience (25+ in commercial insurance) the only people who benefit is the insurance companies because you’re tied to them for 3 years, BUT as far as I’m aware they can still increase the rate per vehicle every year at renewal.

    For your injury you should try "Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy: Using Your Own Blood to Heal" basically they take your own blood put it in a centrifuge spin it up and take the white and clear parts the parts that repair out of it and inject it at the injury site. It is newer technology. It's used by professional athletes to recover from injuries faster and promote healing. But, I would see it only as a stop gap until you can get the stem cell stuff lined up etc. But it should help in the mean time.

    • @alexanderbuckland
      @alexanderbuckland Рік тому

      Realistically they're doing 4K video, so minimum they want to do is get 10Gbps network on it - at that point, there's not much cost increase for thunderbolt and then you get 40Gbps to each device (okay the drives won't do that, but it's still better).

    • @Savagetechie
      @Savagetechie Рік тому

      @@mememachine5244 the files aren't that big it's not like they are shooting raw, there's still GoPro and phone footage in there and they are also not necessarily editing live on the NAS it may just be purely backup. You definitely don't need 40gig for a setup that small even 10 is probably overkill for their workload but would provide plenty of room for expansion.

    • @Savagetechie
      @Savagetechie Рік тому

      @@alexanderbuckland the drives will do nowhere near that for multiple editors, it's a tiny little qnap setup, I mean it's not got enough physical bays for a start, I'm definitely thinking it's not got 2 parity drives and a cache drive which is why I assumed they were just using it as a backup rather than editing live on it.

    Daniel's not goin to like this, but a massive mentally stressful workload (with more stress coming down the line), is not compatible with pushing the body to the extreme limits of what is possible physically. Athletes like Arnie Schwartzenegger, focused on one platform, his physique. He did not also try to run a challenging enterprise at the same time and he succeeded (undoubtedly with many injuries along the way). Mental stress causes inflamation which makes muscle and joint injuries inevitable. Without proper R&R to reflect and heal, chronic damage becomes more and more likely.
    To ask any 'body' to fight two battle fronts is simply IMHO, just too much to ask. It's like over-stressing some of your machines, because you just know with fatal certainty, that one day, no matter how good that machine is, something's gonna break, and possibly break bad.
    I would personally tone down the physique, switch to intermittent fasting gradually over 1-2 years, and focus on more mindfullness, and less physicality.
    More, muscle tone, and body flexibility, with significantly less body mass.
    You'll be half the size, but twice as capable where it really counts, longevity, resilience, and mindfullness.
    Also to delegate more, no matter what the cost, because skillful delegation takes time to fully master, and the master's horizons are permanent goals, not destinations.
    I'm no expert, but I do know the corrosive effects of long term mental stress on both the spirit and the body's ability to heal and carry on as normal.
    I avoid stress as much as possible.
    I regularly meditate.
    I have Intermittent Fasted (IF'd - i.e - only 1 evening meal a day within a 4 hour window), for over 10 years and it's mental & health benefits are phenomenal.
    (BTW) - with (IF), you can still eventually achieve optimum performance in a very mentally and physically challenging lifestyle - hence the 1-2 year aclimatisation.
    Whatever you decide, good luck, watching your journey with keen interest and hoping you make your best choices moving forward 🙂

      I think that was his plan when buying land in St Lucia. Daniel was going to have the penthouse in Ashville Heights.
      I think his ideas have since changed and iirc he was looking for another parcel of land.
      I can't see him building from scratch in London. He has an apartment there which must cost an absolute fortune and then to pay for garaging for two vehicles as well, its such a lot of money. To build on his own land he would need to come away from the Heathrow area so as to get his money worth of land but then it would mean a longer commute into work.

    Them containers seem to be a right burden. Just hassle with non stop issues. Wouldve been better off designing and building from scratch

      @@MclarenHunter hmmm I reckon with labour and materials ect it would've cost roughly the same to design and build from scratch, and quicker
