- As a specialist hoard hunting metal detectorist and expert treasure hunter, I possess a wealth of knowledge on the tools and techniques that make metal detecting such an exhilarating pursuit. 1840 TITHE maps are a good source of reference. Once held in churches, they are now to be found in local Record Offices.

I think you might have been smiling all the way home after a day like that, and such a variety of finds, And the CTX certainly punched down deep for that buckle, mine has done the same for a buckle, but it was nowhere near as old as your find, A very enjoyable hunt! Thanks and Cheers Cleggy!
