Wow, you guys have such great OLD targets to find, because people were living there so much earlier than where I am, up here in Northern Pa! Folks didn’t show up here until mostly after 1800… But this hobby is still addictive! I’ve learned a TON about what I find from watching your videos…thanks!!!
Excellent video guys. It was really cool that homeowner got involved in metal detecting their property and I liked all those cool relics and those silver coins. Can't wait to see Doug metal detecting once his foot heals.
I think there should be someone behind Doug holding an umbrella so he doesn't get too much sun. Can't have that poor recovering "metal detecting warrior" getting sunburnt. To the video, you can count on your fingers how many times in your lifetime where you score permission for such a treasure rich yard to detect. Another fantastic video. Cheers, Pete (down under).
The homeowners had just as much of a good time as you all did! Great finds of all kinds that show the history of who lived there from the early 1800s to now, and possibly even older treasures to be found! I believe the family has found a new hobby! Til next time, keep on diggin...
Great show and it was generous of you to give them all the finds. That will get them excited for sure. As always I look forward to the next video. Hopefully Doug will be back at it. Heal fast Doug.
Tarina’s shirt is fantastic!! I want one!! One of your funnest videos! “Well Dogtag Doug rolled down the hill to that stump” 😂 And the finds were….what do you say??? What an incredible yard!!
What a yard of dreams for a detectorist!! Congrats to all of you, including the homeowners. I still feel terrible for Doug not getting to hunt it. Always jealous when you pull a crotal bell out. You all are great, always enjoy your videos!!
What a property this has been. It's been a pleasure to watch these videos. Super great family. Awesome to see Doug up and around. Ready to see him swinging that detector again. Keep em coming fellas.
So awesome to see the family get involved in the great hobby we love great video looking forward to the next one God Bless and happy dirt fishing.. Virgil
Somebody should of got a good number for a possible 3rd flying eagle and let Doug sit in his chair and dig it. But loved seeing all that silver coinage and relics . Nice family who might have a new hobby. I am sure they could find more in that yard!! A great video!!
I really enjoyed these past video's of this place and great family. Would love to see them join you in a future video. Wishing Doug the best of health. Always great Camara work guys. You guys bring History back to life as always.
What an absolutely amazing site, as good as I can ever recall seeing. Add to it the family got out with you AND found silver, hard to fathom! The SLQ had to be T1 1916 or 1917- no stars under the eagle. I've collected that series for over 50 years, the best looking coin ever made, IMHO. I've never seen a 1916 found, only 52K minted, extremely rare, but it would be miraculous to see one pop out of the ground. Well done all!
Love it. I have tried permissions with no luck. That house was a bonanza! And giving the family the finds was the real blessing. Bravo to you and your team!
Man i wish i could get on a spot like that. So hard to get permissions worth anything in Mississippi. Bro you had me dying laughing "a hundred and whatever the math is" 😂
What an awesome place and awesome homeowners. So cool that y'all left them with everything you found. I bet they will be all buying detectors soon! And I predict they will get one or more permissions in their area and you guys will be going back!
You guys are just so dang funny! “His gun’s bent” “Well that’s what happens when you get old” 😂😂 Reminded me of Basic Training - this is your rifle..this is your gun… one is for fighting…one is for fun 🙄. We had to say that if we ever called our weapon a gun
What a Fanominal yard. Wow. Congrats to everyone out there. One of my favorites is the Victorian Button Rich found. Beautiful. Love all the Relics. All the Coins Crazy. Especially the Spill. Love the Silver Bracelet and Silver Love Knot Pin. Take Care and Congrats.
@@dogtagdoug6751 I'm about to retire and live where the revolution ended here in the Hudson Valley NY. I'm joining a detecting club because I hate knocking on doors lol. But have 1600s farm field come October
The war nickels have no nickel in them at all, it was needed for armor for the war. Instead they used silver and magnesium, and the magnesium causes the black spots. Awesome type I standing liberty, and it has a date! Just needs a careful restoration, might have a mintmark.

These folks are now detectorist for life. they will always be detecting from here on out. Very cool!
Spectacular finds for everyone. What an awesome day.
Use lemon juice on the quarter. It generally works really well on silver coins with green corrosion.
So cool! The family took to detecting like a duck on water.

That’s ‘cause DogTagDoug wasn’t detecting. If he had been out there, “Forget about it!”

Haha thanks for the end comment of saying you all left everything for the family. I was wondering about that in the wrap up.
Those nice, shiny buckles are generally nickel plated.
Very nice finds!!! -DS
Yes, that is a 1917 Quarter. You can see the 7 when the picture starts to fade in the video, Nice one.
Hoarderwater they have a pill for that saging riffle 😂
Great yard History at its best
Lemon juice bath and baking soda rub should clean up standing liberty quarter
1917 BOOB quarter! I have one of those! Nice finds… love the silver… 😍

Fun spot, glad to see the family get involved 🏋🏻♂️🏋🏻♂️
When you dig at these private homes, do you keep the items you find or do you share them with the owners?
Hello Quarter Hoarder, Dog Tag Doug, Rich and Matt
Nice family and great finds.
Looks like Dougs foot is on the mend.
WTG you guys!
That's great news DougI @@dogtagdoug6751
Don't let home owners bring out there fine baking dheets😅😅
fantastic dig!
Some amazing finds in that yard!
If you soak that quarter in 100% acetone the debris might come off without abrasion (silver only)
Great silver haul from single yard.
