I have watched this owner argue on 10 separate threads in Club AU about how dope this vehicle is...
I have seen it push limits on other Barra swaps when racing, some of them blew up trying to keep up...
I have also seen it keep up and slightly gap a 1000hp V8 AMG Mercedes....
I have seen this car for sale for nearly 50k... (if memory serves, It may have been a joke.)

yep like bonzi, lol:) Now days like theres no way you can get a car doing 9's and it cost only 2K, even if you do it all by yourself, engine mods auto mods, tailshaft, diff internals, diff splines, then E85 conversion, what else, i yes wheels and tyres, intercooler and then the tune, which has to be done outside your own workshop unless you have a dyno cell built into your own workshop, its going to cost you at least 10 to 20K all up if you paid someone to do a AU up with a barra and BF running gear for drags, also noticed no cage, hum so should legally not be allowed on the track full stop?

If you don't count the turbo in the cost this is a genuine 2k barra running mid nines, that is actually insane. I don't think anyone counts gearbox, suspension and all in the 2k barra cost meme just the pure engine.

I paid $300 buck's for my AU from my brother inlaw paid the pink slip and rego the car is still going strong and still my daily all up cost me a couple hundred more with small chips

Why didn't you just buy a BA gas car, would off been cheap as chips back then. Save you all the head Ake of the engine and wiring swapping. I bought my BA gas car for $900. I want to build it like yours, inspiration from you. Congratulations on this fast build.

Try dropping them in the oil fill hole. They should eventually settle in there somewhere.
@@Gooie69 maybe.....thinking of keeping it total stock except a stoker crank, stronger rods and better pistons, serious headwork and solid cams, upgraded timing system, oil pump and sump, injectors, fuel rails, fuel pump, inlet and exhaust manifolds, turbo and oil pumps, intercooler...........still stock but
@@paulcoote3094 if you're going to that much trouble maybe look at the square bore modification. You press in square cylinder sleeves and square pistons with gapless hypodezmerpenzine rings. I think it's cosworth that do the kit. Pretty expensive but well worth the money.
