Rock Solid Trail Contracting is hard at work again on another set of Monument Trails, this time at Devil's Den State Park. This place was the original mountain bike destination in Arkansas and it's getting an amazing overhaul.

I really dig how you've been handing mics to the people you've been riding with. Not only do we get the POV camera and get to hear your commentary, it's awesome to hear the other rider's commentary even when they are far away from you. Excellent idea
Just spent 5 days in Arkansas riding because of your videos. Drove all the way from New York. Keep up the good work you’re inspiring riders and showing us what all these amazing places have to offer. Met several riders that were out there because of you as well. Thanks for all your hard work!
I'm Northwest Arkansas native overly impressed with what's going on around here used to not be much of anything to do if you didn't own a boat I hope you had a great time welcome and come back can't believe you came all the way from New York peace out
I think I met you on the trail, happy pedaling
This was the best mountain biking podcast interview I've heard to date. Selfless, empathetic, probing... and all done while riding some killer track blind. 👏👏👏
I'm an Arkansas native who lives within 90 minutes of all of the NWA trails, Mount Nebo, and Devil's Den. I'm new to Mountain biking and I cant believe I have waited so long to get into the sport considering the massive amount of incredible trails that are so close by! I am very grateful for the work you have done in Arkansas! I sincerely thank you.
How can you live here and just be getting into mountain biking?😂 It actually took us a little while to get into it as well, so I'm just as guilty.🤣
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS Don't be too hard on yourself - it wasn't always like this. The MTB trail explosion only happened in the last 5 years or so.
I live 5 minutes
@@siradinar agreed. born and raised in Rogers and nothing like what's available at Slaughter Pen/Coler/Railyard/etc was around when I was a kid (90s/2000s).
love that it's here now!
It's never too late...I'm planning a trip to Arkansas (from NJ), can't wait
Trails are absolutely awesome . Turning into a real Mecca out there ! Gotta give a shout out to my heart surgeons who gave me a new aortic valve and triple bypass ! Hope to be out there someday soon on my Levo . So grateful to be still killin it at 70 . Thanks so much guys !
Going underneath that little waterfall was cool as hell.
theres about 6 waterfalls and they r some on the walking trails that are cooool as fuckkk man. devils den is awesome
i did the trail but when i went there was no water.
You know its a great place when all you hear is hahaha, whoa and yeahhhhh ! Every 2 or 3 feet. Love it. Great video
I think you've found the new future of mtb UA-cam here. Interviewing people while you ride is where it's at. Great work and keep it going 🤘
I’ve been mountain biking since I was a kid, and have a hobbyist trail builder since my teenage years. The organized effort that AR is putting into making their state an Mtb destination is quite remarkable. This trail is super impressive. Incredible incorporation of natural features. Hats off to the builders and some forward thinkers making it possible in AR.
Rock Solid always delivers. Can’t wait to ride this one
Can't wait to shred Devil's den one day!
Oh same dude
That quote hit me "Think we are seeing an age of people who are willing to have less, to see more!"
This is, in my humble opinion, the best mountain biking channel on UA-cam. While I can appreciate other channels who have some crazy visuals, this channel adds the dialog which adds another level to the ride. For instance, listening to this guy who was awarded a million dollar contract for trail building is eye opening. I cannot imagine the logistics behind all of that but he goes into some of the leg work like staying up until midnight doing paperwork and payroll. These are excellent points to learn about because while we have the privilege of riding these trails, we never know what went on to achieve the end result. Thank you for sharing these videos. I subbed.
I love these philosopical talks and live lessons while showing of sick trails. Awesome video :D
I agree. Brian, I’d watch mtn biking interviews ( while mtn biking) any day
I live 2 hours from Devils Den, I was there the opening day and went back a week later. The new additions are awesome, and even for an old slow guy the stoke factor was high. I have a few videos on my channel that covers more of the trails. We are blessed here in the Natural State to have so many new trails being built
Great video! And I can't wait until these trails open this weekend! We are so blessed here with amazing trails... Devils Den is just 1 of several new trail systems opening this year here in NWA 🤓
Lovin the real talk convos on the trail
These guys have taken trail building to another level. Amazing.
So stoked to have this around my area. Slaughter and Coler are amazing, but this is the type of riding I really look for.
Just saw an article today about these new trails...now your video. Vacationing there soon for hubby's birthday week!! Your videos have definitely been helpful as to what to ride!!
Wow! One of the most beautiful, fun, and interesting trails with out being death defying. Great video!
Rock Solid trails are fricken' great! Their trail builds in Minnesota are amazing!
Those trails look amazing! Kudos to the trail builders.
Wow, this looks amazing. It's come a long way since when I was riding at Devil's Den in 1996.
I did this trail over the weekend on my hardtail. Most beautiful trail I have ever been on! Great work love the features and really flowy. MTB'er from Oklahoma and this was my first time I said "Dang I wish I had a seat dropper". Very Fun!!
Do you know the name of this trail?
If you look on google maps the start is Fossil flats trailhead and it loops under yellow rock overlook@tylerroberts3663
i live in fayetteville arkansas, NWA, and devils den is one of the coolest places out here. the amazing giant rocks and rockwork done by people years and years ago, really incredible. gotta thank the Walmart millions of $$ for all the MTB work up here, really been enjoying it
This place looks AMAZING!! I really like how you give a mic to the guests and get some conversation in too. Great job.
Jaw dropping ride guys! Incredible trail. 19:00-20:00 = sick!!
Really great trail design. Very imaginative. Meditating on the possibilities.
Those were probably the best trails I've ever seen in a video. Thanks.
I'm in Bentonville, so we have a lot of stunning trail and big money features. Nothing in the area competes with the natural beauty of those trails, and when I rode them, we didn't get to ride the advanced line. I will be there Thursday for the grand opening, and I cannot wait to hit the advanced lines, and see more of the stuff we missed back in early April.
Best one yet. Between the biking and the epic interview...you finally got me. Subscribed.
Man, that place looks amazing! Perfect example of leveraging the natural shape and bits of the land to make sick trail features. Can't wait to ride here someday. Keep up the good work!
This trail just made the must ride list. Thanks Brian.
BKXC just putting it out there my man, some of the terrain you blast down is way more gnarly than the majority of jumps/features you pass on. I have faith youll keep working on that cause you obviously have the capability to do it safely, push yourself and have fun
I think this has to be one of the coolest looking trails I've ever watched you ride... so epic!
Imo that’s the best trail I’ve seen you ride. Looks absolutely awesome.
And it gets added to the mountain bike trail bucket list!
This is too awesome. We 100% need this in the Sierra's (CA). Near Auburn and Tahoe. Who's with me?!
Get involved with FATTAC, if you're not already👍

@@t.o.f.t.s. Awesome! Will check em out.
Whatever you believe in, it honestly is Devine intervention I came across this specific video!!! I was really caught up with where my next mtb trip will be but not anymore, no question I’m going here!!
I never thought I'd need to put Arkansas on my list of places to visit, but this video just changed my mind. Amazing trails- great video!

Excellent on trail interview! It was so great to hear the crystal clear audio from you and the other riders. Keep up the great content. I’m jealous as ever, every time I see on of your videos.
devils den is incredible!! not just for biking, its incredible out there.
Heya BKXC, watching your videos made me reserve a week to vacation in Bentonville in two weeks. Been adding the trails to the list of places I wanna ride.
Thats truly an amazing trail! Love seeing projects like this funded.
the ride interview was fascinating. More of this!
One of your top 5 videos in my opinion Brian. Very Awesome!!
If it looks this good on gopro imagine its real beauty when you ride it.
Wow, NWA just keeps getting better and better. Amazing!!
Yeah!! Stoked you had fun man!
Daaang! that is one awesome trail build!
This is amazing riding. Thanks to this video this area is definitely on my short list when I make it to Arkansas.
You've got me wanting to visit Arkansas now. This looks beautiful
Brian don't forget the food shot at the end of riding, I think people enjoy that.✌
I dropped two ton of sand stone rock at my local trail in Woburn . The exciting part of this is , they came from a house Winston Churchill owned during the war, it was part of maybe a couple of hundred tons that was excavated during a refurbishment .
Woburn , Mass?
@@M1978-p8j If it was Winston Churchills house it's probably not Massachusetts.
What a trail! This is something I'll plan a trip to ride, hopefully for several days.
Alright, alright. You sold me. Arkansas is the next vacation destination.
Wow! Simply amazing! That looks like the best trail!
Thanks for the sneak peek! Can't wait to get out there myself after it opens!
Looks sooo gorgeous out there!!! Can’t wait to ride it
Will be camping and riding ad Devil's Den at the end of May. So looking forward to riding this trail.
This was a great vid of these beautiful trails, and fantastic dialogue
The rock section was one of the coolest trail sections ive ever seen.
Wowsa! That's incredible! Amazing landscape & trail around the 9 minute mark.
I may have to visit Arkansas one day just to ride this. Beautiful.
So entertaining. You do such a great job hosting your videos. And this was a cool capture. Awesome dialogue. 👍🤙

I'm vicariously biking watching this video.....and I still got injured
Drinkin beer in the hot tube is a dangerous sport.
You gotta improve those bike handling skills!
a tip : watch movies on flixzone. I've been using it for watching loads of movies lately.
@Hudson Vivaan definitely, have been using flixzone} for months myself :D
Been a minute..... Love to tune in to watch you! 😎
Wow this place looks absolutely awesome!
Awesome! Live on the west coast in British Columbia myself but hope to rip the east some day. Crazy , so well built!
Bet that’s beautiful in summer! New to mtb but the videos of these trails are making me want to visit soon!
Falls really the best time to see the region
Sick glasses, sick trails and what great guys (you and the builders). I love your vids. You're an inspiration and have increased the size of my bucket list with the videos you make. Keep up the great work.
My MIL lives right off Tunnel Vision on the Sugar Creek system in AR and I'm totally spoiled by the convenience when I go down there. Gonna need to do a day trip to Devils Den in the near future!
So need to get there. Great rockwork. Nice riding Brian. Not so long since you didn't want to leave the ground!
Fire video Brian!!! 🔥
Unbelievable! Loved the video....
Those trails look amazing!!!!
that was AWESOME ! thanks for the video ! i will have to try and get there one day ....
That is one of the funnest trails I have seen in a long time! All the way in Marin, but travel a little to ride other places~ Thanks for this peek~

"Experiences over goods" - well said, and well supported by research to make you a happier camper. :)
Dang that is one beautiful looking trail
thanks for sharing! love it. one of my best friends worked for Rock Solid for awhile.
Added to my bucket 🪣 list 😎. Thanks for sharing Brian. 🤙🏼
Damn Brian you carved that one like a Ninja!
that first trail was so epic!
I rode Devil's Den trails back in 1997....definitely need to get there again, but I will wait til fall or early winter...no ticks
What do you mean no TICKS?!?🤣😜
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS They move a little slower when it's cold....I hate anything that wants to feed on me.
@@johnnydoe66 Haha I think it was Jeremiah's bad attempt at being funny. You know, Jeremiah "The Tick" Cullum😂.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS Duh, I should have caught that....🤣
And no snakes
Those trails look epic.
Wow, looks like an amazing ride.
Wow that looks amazing I gotta get out there soon!!!🤙
35 min drive after class seems like the fall semester will be spent here and Centennial
I live in BC, and the biking here is good, you've seen the pics and videos. I never thought of that part of the USA as worth a trip except for the historical interest, but Dee Eh Em Enn, those trails look sweet. Very different than my local riding, but in a really, really good way. Now that's on my list, who knew? Rock Solid indeed.
seems like the best trails ive ever seen
I think I’ve told you before but I was in a biz career, doing pretty well, but not happy! Thinking $$$ was all that mattered. My wife encouraged me to follow my dreams.....became an airline pilot! My brother was a surgeon, same thing, not happy, he became an airline pilot too! Our dad was an AF fighter pilot....we both wanted to be pilots but when young we chased the $$$....
Life is too short....be happy!
Btw I just love this series, my mom is from Arkansas. These trails have been magnificent!
