Installing the HOTCHKIS TVS kit & Rear Axle PART: 1

I finally get to start putting the car back together! In this video I install the Hotchkis TVS leaf springs, my 8.75 rear axle that I had narrowed to B-Body width and the Dr. Diff offset shackle kit.
The plan is to get the Cuda to handle on a very high level and this is the first step. The offset shackles will allow me to run the biggest wheel and tire combination in the stock wheelwells. The TVS springs are a 3 leaf design and lower the car and inch.
Next I will move to installing the front suspension.

So did i miss the vid where you showed how you repositioned the spring perches? Getting ready to do the Dr. Diff offset shackles on my Dart once I get my AFCO springs in. Doing a lot of the same stuff you're doing to this Cuda to my dart so this has been great to see. Keep it up!

Thanks I really appreciate hearing your enjoying them! No, you didn't miss it. I was looking for a B body rear axle, couldn't find one...so found a local guy who builds axles to cut mine down and move the perches at the same time. So I didn't do that work myself

I used hotchkis rear springs on my challenger 1970 wth doctor diff Relocation kit watch out for the spring hitting the fuel lie on the passenger side when you lower car on the ground.
