- Local Businessman Blake Jensen is arriving at court for his hearing. As he pulls into the parking lot, he sees a woman standing in the only open parking space. She is talking on the phone and doesn't notice he is trying to park his car. Then, Mr. Jensen loses his patience and begins yelling at and berating the poor woman. Unfortunately for him, she just so happens to be the judge who is presiding over his case.

He should be aware that his words will go on record when she appears on the bench in full robe !!!! His jaw, dropping from disbelief, can't fathom her being the presiding Judge!!! Not all judges are bad people. Most of them are fair people trying to make an honest living. I once knew a judge who was a longtime family friend of ours and she was one of the greatest buds I ever had. She may have passed away now, but the memories live on. 😁

He was very rude in the parking lot, so many things he could have done to get the lady's attention. In court, he was kissing up to get what he wanted. The judge was very respectful and didn't let the parking lot situation interfere with her ruling, she followed the law and patiently listen to him being a jerk. People talk on their cellphones all the time in parking lots, they do get distracted at times, a little kindness goes a long way. Simple words like, excuse me, may I park in that spot please. No stress, no headaches, no bad feelings, no shooting, no cursing, and no police. It's that simple.

The judge seemed to be acting partially based off her previous interaction with the defendant. She showed bias towards him during his testimony which can end up working in his favor on appeal. The moral of the story is sound but when looking at real jurisprudence, the judge screwed up and should have had some more decorum in her court.
