I still swear to this day that Chirrut and Baze were a nod to the fact Disney had just also acquired Marvel, because they are pretty much verbatim Daredevil and Punisher.
So smooth to the point where it reminds me of the LEGO Movie melting room breakout scene. Also, I love the detail where you changed the stormtrooper's torsos to show the blast marks in their armor when Chirrut used them as shields. Love this.
I'm not gonna lie, as silly as this scene is, I totally respect how they made a Deathtrooper fight Chirrut in hand-to-hand on even footing. Props.
