- During our last show of our Japan tour, we invited the very talented, 10 year old drummer, Yoyoka to perform with us during She Bop! Filming and editing thanks to, Joe Barbarisi!

公演の2日前にいきなりシンディーからオファーが来て、いつもはママさんかパパさんが付き添ってたけれども あまりに急な話で 急遽よよか ちゃん1人で北海道から上京する事になって、ほぼぶっつけ本番だと思うのだけれども、やっぱり幼い頃からライブやセッションこなしてただけ有って流石です。
This kind of exposure can't be measured, Even though its straight ahead rock, her opening solo was fantastic, considering the venue and the pressure on this young girl. she handled it all of it. Proving that she is more than a youtube cover artist. I love how mature she was in this case, nodding over to cindy's drummer as she finished the solo. Quite remarkable. I have been following yoyoka for a couple of years, I was brought to almost tears by this performance feeling like a proud grandfather.
Yoyoka are our princess. She will become a drum queen in future.
She's a true musician,working as a team!

I have been to and worked more concerts than I could ever remember. This young girl is the best drummer I've possibly ever heard. Brings a smile every time. Thanks to Cindi Lauper for proof she's true Phenom drummer. Fan for life!

First time seeing two drummers perform at the same time...quite an experience. Yoyoka what an inspiration.
Yoyoka can play with any band! I've been watching with the kids for a few years, she's the real deal!
And she has a great attitude and wonderful matured comportment. Real deal.
She didn't miss a beat. Impressed with Cyndi Lauper for having her perform on stage. Most big names are afraid they would be shown up by a "kid". I'd love to see her play 1 song, just 1 with the actual members of Led Zeppelin. Just 1....
She already plays like JB -air between notes and all -it would probably freak them out.
Cyndi has always been an amazing artist and to have Yoyoka here as well, makes it all that much better.

I adore Cyndi Lauper. I just found out about Yoyoka and she is the real deal. She has chops, but she also has swing and soul. Fates preserve her from prodigy flameout. I am looking forward to her music in a few years, not that I don't enjoy it now.

is it just me, or did the whole ensemble come to life when Yoyoka climbed into the saddle? Kind of dreary to that point, then ¡BAM! everyone took it up to 11!
You are right...the original drummer has no feel...she’s too mechanical...whereas Yoyoka has a great groove and feel....
You can compliment yoyoka without putting cyndi's drummer down. She's a professional and they both did great.
