2009年10月生まれ。2歳からドラムを始め、4歳からライブ活動を開始し、5歳で家族バンド「かねあいよよか」を結成。幼稚園在籍中の6歳で1stCDを発売する。
ドラムのみならず、作詞作曲、ボーカル、ピアノも担当。
2018年、世界的な女性ドラマーのコンテスト『Hit Like A Girl』の18歳以下の部にて、最年少の8歳でウイークリーチャンピオンとなる。Led Zeppelinの『Good Times Bad Times』をカヴァー演奏した応募動画が、アメリカのNBC、NPR、ローリングストーン誌やビルボードで特集され、世界中に拡散。
Led Zeppelinのロバート・プラント、Red Hot Chili Peppersのチャド・スミス、シェリル・クロウ、KISSのジーンシモンズやエリック・シンガー、Sonic Youthのキム・ゴードン、Paramoreのヘイリー、サス・ジョーダン、トニー・ロイスターJr.などから称賛される。
国内でも、矢野顕子、佐藤竹善、ハマ・オカモト、亀田誠治、ピエール中野、LOUDNESSの二井原実らも驚きとともにSNSでよよかを紹介。
2018年は『RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL in EZO』に史上最年少出演を果たし、オリジナル曲のほかChar、奥田民生などをゲストに迎え、Led Zeppelinの『Good Times Bad Times』を演奏。
2019年には『サマーソニック東京』でマウンテンステージのトリ、Fall Out Boyのステージにサプライズ登場。彼らと共演し2万人の観客を沸かせた。
また、シンディ・ローパーからオファーを受け、日本ツアーの最終日、東京オーチャードホールでの公演でゲストドラマーとして2曲演奏し、シンディと共演を果たす。
国内でも2019年、亀田誠治主催の『日比谷音楽祭』に出演。ゴダイゴ、JUJU、KREVA、Reiらと共演。他にも「MUSIC FAIR」「TBS音楽の日」「題名のない音楽会」などに出演し三浦大知、倖田來未、大黒摩季、サンプラザ中野くん、ROLLY、本田雅人など多くのアーティストと共演を果たしす。
また、Nike、Moncler、UNIQLOなど世界的ブランドのCMに抜擢。撮影はタイやニューヨークでも行われ、世界中から大きな反響を得る。
2019年は1月と5月にロサンゼルスにて収録される『The Ellen Show（エレンの部屋）』に日本人としては異例となる2度の出演を果たし、Foo Fightersのデイヴ・グロールからもビデオコメントで賞賛を受けた。また、ロサンゼルスの老舗ライブハウス「Whisky A Go Go」にて海外初ライブを大盛況で終える。
2019年4月には、Newsweek日本版「世界が尊敬する日本人100人」に史上最年少で選出。
８歳でドラムメーカーのPearl、VIC FIRTHと史上世界最年少エンドース契約し、Zildjian、CYMPAD、DWともエンドース契約。
2020年にロサンゼルスで開催された世界最大の楽器ショー”NAMM Show”のPearlブースにて、最年少、女性、日本人唯一のドラマーとしてパフォーマンス。

Actually, Yoyoka was invited to perform in Cyndi Lauper's concert in a cameo appearance a year or 2 ago. Her talent is already being recognized by several international artiste and bands.

44 year old drummer here, been playing since I was 10, and like so many others think Yoyoka is amazing. I take her 100% seriously. She's the real deal, and is developing her own sound and style already. She may be a 10 year old, but she's got the feel of a seasoned player. Rock on Yayoka!

This song she covered is the perfect personification of her talent. Just seeing her beautiful little face light up and smile, as she obviously demonstrates that she's having a blast drumming, puts a huge smile on my face.
I was practicing my drums before I saw this video and I went to get back to drumming some more right after... well, maybe not right after becuase I posted my comment first but it's what she does to my motivation. What can I say? LOL! I love this kid. I hope she gets a huge following world wide. She deserves it.
I worried she's going to grow up and be a studio drummer for some J-pop band. That would be a terrible waste.
@@hrynkiewich I wouldn't worry too much about that... she sings as well. LOL! She's still developing and I see a wonderful future for her. I'm still wishing world fame for her. Considering how super hard working she is, I see it. Plus, she shows how humble she is... I don't see any issues with her and even if it's with a J-POP band, it's work and I hope she grows with the band to world fame. She'll be fine. Her talent is still growing exponentially and that's what leads to professionalism and accolades.

Somewhere between 1:44 and 1:47, amidst my brain tracking that blur of notes and my jaw hitting the floor, I realized that Yoyoka is 100% professional material. I've been watching her vids religiously since before The Ellen Show appearances and not once did I feel she had the level of commitment that it takes to drum ~ as a job ~ rather that she was just doing it because she was having fun, is gifted, her parents drafted her into their musical army before she could know that there was another non-musical universe out there and the world really needs a savior that's much cuter than Jesus in this dark hour of human depravity. It's like I say about The Rolling Stones - even if you don't like their music you can't question their stick-to-it-ive-ness or work ethic; they do what they do with total professional appeal and they enjoy doing it. She has everything that any of them have and, wait for it - as if you don't already know it, she's much cuter than Mick, Keef, Charlie or Ronnie (just sayin). Yoyoka is much much more than a machine or musical jukebox one winds up and it plays a song for you. She's not a ~ practiced parrot spitting out memorized notes that might as well be midi ~ she's the full deal, fo real, and this clip proves it. Also, just freakn wow.
