Thank you, yes, I don’t blame anyone, it was really just an unfortunate series of events. My drop coordinator wasn’t able to make it that day either, so there wasn’t anyone who even thought to be responsible for the pile of my stuff. Oh well, hasn’t stopped me from continuing to buy almost everything from Azure! 😅
Thank you so much, I've been deliberating making a purchase for a couple months, but got cold feet every time. Definitely going to go through with it this time.
Thank you so much for showing your Azure Standard haul. It is very helpful to see all the things they have to offer besides food, like the gallon storage jars and your helper is so precious! All your tips were very helpful. Thank you again!
Kamut is my favorite form of wheat. It has a slightly "buttery" taste for grain as well as a warmer yellow color for a grain product. My sister, who is a microbiologist, says that is probably because it contains the same compound that makes butter taste buttery.
Can you please do a video on how you keep your house so minimalist 😍 I feel like this is the first and most important step to homesteading, so that you can keep everything running smoothly! My house is currently not minimalist and I am constantly struggling with having any time for anything other than cleaning right now!
That is so great that you just said because I was just wondering if that exact topic was “homesteading” enough. But I completely agree, simplifying and having your ducks in a row is the only way to actually have time for gardens and animals and whatnot! I will do a video on that soon. Is there anything specific you would like to know or see?
You did a great job explaining Azure Standard! I signed up about a year ago and haven't placed my first order. I will take a look at it again and hopefully place my first order. Thanks for explaining in such detail.
Your little helper is so stinkin cute. Newbie subscriber here, thanks for sharing your detailed haul, been contemplating buying. I don't have a lil' cutie to help us out, guess l have to bring my grands over to help. They will love it...help unpacking and then bake some homemade cookies 🍪 😋 👌
We absolutely LOVE Azure Standard. They are kind and courteous! I enjoy their snack bars, crackers, artichoke hearts, and the few goods I used to buy at Sprouts in Birmingham! We drive a little over an hour to pick up our order, that gives us a reason to go into town! OH....their Root Beer!!! We must limit ourselves! We began by ordering their buckets and lids. I have ground grains for 20 years! Anyway, I could go on and on!!! I just love this company and am excited to see your video! Thank you! Blessings and Re Jouir -Darlene
I have a gluten intolerance and found Kamut a year or so back. It is a game changer for sure! I can have "good" bread and bake goods again! I get my kamut from the Food Nanny.
You can also have orders delivered directly to your home. I just purchased some sharp cheddar cheese raw milk made. I'm disabled so I cannot be unloading the trucks and my caregiver who would be bringing me to a drop point it's not in her job description to unload a truck. So I took nine items off my order and decided the cheese was what I really wanted because I can't get that in the store so I had it sent to my home. Azure standard is a corporation. I heard a husband and wife speaking about how they're trying to get away from corporate food. As your standard sells 90% of their products that you can also get in the grocery store and it's corporate food!
If you make your own nut milks, you have to look into the Almond Cow .a little pricey but it's fantastic. quick and easy to make your own milk probably less than a minute and a half and it's done .l love mine.
@@TheFromScratchFarmhouse have you done any research on A1 and A2 beta casein in milk? That might help your dairy free kids. A great book on the subject is Devil In The Milk by K.B. Woodford. It's hard to say overall because it took us many years to make the transition. Also, many of the products I buy from Azure I can't even get here locally. For example, wheat berries is not something I've seen at our local store.
So how does it work with ordering and items being in stock? Is it whoever pays first gets items and the item count decreases? Is that why customers are more likely to get what they order if they keep an eye on the number of items available? We just got an email telling us everything we ordered is shipping!
Oh good to hear! So stock is actually not deducted from until the items are pulling for shipping. So in other words, it is whoever's order ships first that gets first dibs on product, not who pays first.
