    That certainly was a different lasagne, and different in a delicious and surprising way too. What I like about different things is that it makes a nice change from the same thing all the time. Like the time I had a holiday in Nottingham instead of Birmingham and that lot. I actually got to meet Robin Hood, believe it or not. He was actually a really nice fellah and never robbed me, not even once. It was a good experience and I do recommend it.

      everyones circumstances are different. some have relatives they have to care for or other obligations. Just because you were able to do that no problem doesn't mean that others can. You can compare yourself to others all you like but regardless circumstances are different for each person such as what you did for work for example. How far you had to travel to get to and from. If you had other responsibilities like caring for your elderly dementia ridden mother. or you have a very demanding job where you are away most of teh time and do not have a spouse so you must rely on a babysitter which also costs money on top of raising your child. Or perhaps the person has disabilities. There are so many variables as to why someone might not have the knowledge of cooking.@@Tobernee-m7f

    • @mayhemmacy1566
      @mayhemmacy1566 11 місяців тому

      and also, if you come from a family of trauma and drug abuse then its most likely you never learned how to cook. Parents pass down a lot of those things to their kids but if your parents were high or drunk all the time, odds are you had to cook for yourself even if you didn't know how. Kraft dinner and chicken nuggies. How is someone supposed to know any better if it was not part of their upbringing? @@Tobernee-m7f

After it's cooked , strain it from the hot water otherwise it will carry on cooking and become mush. Have your sauce ready first , and then cook pasta right at the end. This penne looked like it was sat in that pot for 20 minutes. You can even run it under cold water to stop the cooking process while it's in a colander.

      @@katvtay But why then do I love it so much? I had been trying to use a potato masher to break up the meat. This isn't soft freshly bought meat that falls apart just by looking at it, but frozen... Wooden spoons, everything was a hassle and very unsatisfactory and time consuming for poor results, but this thing is like magic. And to clean it off? You're not talking 10 sides, but 5, take your finger or a butter knife or a spoon handle and stick it in the middle of the blades and the meat all falls off, and besides, all of the blades aren't always in need of being cleaned off. Then a quick rinse under the tap. That hasn't been a problem. There is always someone who doesn't like certain things. I have seen bad reviews of my Magic Blender. I LOVE it! If I didn't know how good it was, I wouldn't want one because of those reviews. I only want and have kitchen things that are helpful and useful to me. You know, the first time I used that meat breaker upper I couldn't believe how good it was. I said it was worth its weight in gold. And I have used it to break chunks of cooked carrots in the pot into smaller pieces, and also cooked cauliflower and boiled potatoes that I then fried. One use indeed. Wrong.

    You can tell she didn't like it at all. The faces she made when eating it told all....plus she instantly put it down. In addition, looking at the ingredients, you know there's NO WAY that could be good. Girl... just follow some proper recipes (not British ones)...
    And she pronounced CARROTS correctly by accident - and then "corrected" it with the intentional mispronunciation.
