In the UK we have what's called broth mix. It contains dried grains and pulses such as Pearl Barley, Yellow Split Peas, Green Split Peas, Blue Peas, Red Split Lentils and is typically used with meat and vegetables(along with the broth from it) to make a great hearty filling soup such as Scotch Broth. Or in Kay's case, Chicken Broth soup

This is a suggested recipe (Cheesy plonkers). You get a sausage and slice it down the middle like you would a hotdog bun, then add seeded mustard and sliced cheese (any cheese that melts well) then close it up and wrap the sausage in bacon and cook at 180°C for 20-25minutes. I love your content so much you really inspire me to do more in the kitchen thankyou very much
That chicken pot pie looked fantastic, just like your new hairdo. I remember one time having a pie last week. It was a warm sunny day and I was out enjoying a walk while trying to remember what hole I buried my mobile Internet phone in. After a while I started to feel the urge to urinate, I had just finished a five gallon jug of water, so I was actually quite desperate. Luckily there was a public lavatory nearby, needless to say I swiftly made my way to it to do my business. As I was just shaking off that last few drops I noticed something out of the corner of my eye, it was some sort of pie sitting on top of the cistern of one of the toilet. I quickly grabbed it and scoffed the lot as I made my way to the place I was going. Fumbs up.

Hi Kay new to your channel and loving the videos. I know you don't like certain foods but haven't come across a video yet which says what you can't eat (sorry) A nice and easy recipe we do for 2 people: A full fresh broccoli 2 veg stock cubes Pasta Grated cheese (plenty) but optional Salmon or trout pieces could use chicken if you don't like fish 🤔 Salta, peppia, paprika Remove broccoli floretes and put in a pan and cover with water and boil for about 10 minutes. Whilst boiling drop in some veg stock cubes and mix all in. When broccoli is soft mash with an Offa doofa then add pasta and cook. Might need to top up with water but not too much as you don't want to drain it when cooked. Whilst all this is going on Salta and peppia your salmon or trout fillets and add a good shake of paprika. Cook this in oven or grill. Good to wrap in foil then remove foil later on in cooking to crisp up. Add grated cheese to your pan with the pasta and broccoli - but make sure almost all water has boiled off. Stir until cheese has mixed in. Cheese will thicken the pasta up and absorb any small amounts of water and stock remaining. Add more salta and peppia if needed. Plate it all up and serve with a bit of fresh crusty bread and butter. Campbells condensed soup is best to use for recipes like this or casseroles etc. 2 tins of each flavour would have been enough and you just add a bit of water. They used have recipes on the tin too, dunno if they still do
Hi Kay, I am a little confused. You use 3 tins of the most expensive soup you can buy, nearly 4 times the price of Aldi or Lidl. Also, chicken from the CoOP is much much more expensive than supermarkets too unless it was massively reduced in price. I always thought you were on a budget.

Yes, using 3 tins of Heinz soup is the definition of home-made.
