I am a beta tester and knew about ALMOST all these boss because I’m obsessed with collecting the boss drop pets but even I didn’t know about the vault protector boss. I’m gonna fight him right now. Amazing video seriously.
I didn't know about Akiju from Mooshu or Vault Protector from Dragonspyre. I knew about the rest, but this was interesting to watch and learn about a couple of new ones
Thank you so much for making this video, i would re-run katzenstiens lab 7 years ago when i was there just for fun, and i never knew about the smogger fight, that really brought back the old memories i had when i would play this game in the summer when i was younger
This is one reason I love the animus system, because it gives you a reason to go back and look for all these old enemies in order to see their descriptions. If it hadn’t been for “extract cyclops” or “extract colossus” I may never have gone back and fought the vault protector or Tumok Gravelbeard
There are more secret bosses in krokotopia and marleybone(i dont remember them) but I do remember there are some sigils in both world that are invisible and only accessible after obtaining certain badges and leads you to a wild goose chase between both worlds unlocking new dungeons with some very unique pets as well. And they are 100% too hard for the worlds they are in as well.
Love the video and the making of it, only thing Vault Protector may be useful as the wiki shows it only drops pink dandelions if thats the only seed it drops its good to farm that boss faster to craft the seed vaults
If you're a completionist then you must know there's a ton of badges, gear, emotes and likely more stuff that's unobtainable now. I'd still come back if they just added controller support though. Don't wanna give myself carpal tunnel.

Hey, two years later. I have tried to get into the vault protector's sigil multiple times on multiple wizards, but the UI never popped up. I believe that he's finally been semi-retired, because you can't enter the sigil anymore. At least I can't.
There’s another secret boss in dragonspyre that drops a really rare wand. He’s secret in the sense that there’s no quest line for him and there’s no sigil, it’s just a random building you walk up to and it teleports you to the boss

You should make a video on how to get easy mega snacks after the fishing nerf, I’m a new wizard and I’m not sure on how to get mega snacks besides couch potato’s Loving the videos though they’re helping heaps! :)
I’m relatively new to w101 but I grinded Olympus a lot with my friends and there’s a secret boss in the puzzle room it’s like rank 13 or 15 or something and drops lvl 90 gear
He’s part of an official quest line. The game tells you to fight him directly at level 90 so he doesn’t qualify as a secret boss. He’s still a neat boss to fight though! :) www.wizard101central.com/wiki/Quest:Pit_of_the_Noxii
I stumbled into the crusher fight on my fire wizard on my first ever big ben attempt. I don't think I had any prisms and I only beat him by using the fire minion to whittle him down and outlast him with heals. Easily the most grueling fight I've had in this game.
I think are was a banshee secret boss in krok I think I remember seeing one there several times on several of my wizards I played through krok so many times I know there are some secret bosses there
The key word there is “quest line” :) if they are part of a specific quest where you need to defeat them them to progress then they don’t count as secret bosses. You have to defeat Oakheart specifically for a quest for Wavebringer so he’s not “secret”.
Does yokai always have 3 spider minions with him regardless of how many wizards go into the dungeon or is my game just janky enough to make the fight unbearable
None of the drops here are level locked EXCEPT for the new level 50 hat drops from Tumok Gravelbeard post Spring update. To get those drops you need to not have completed Celestia yet. Once you progress past Celestia all new level 50 gear drops are cut off in Dragonspyre.

I may be misremembering since I haven't played since Zafaria dropped, but isn't there another secret boss in one of the Mooshu dungeons? I remember one of the drops being a balance spell that Loremaster now drops
You might be thinking of Shoji who can drop Samoorai. He's part of the quest "River Temple" in the Shirataki Temple, so not necessarily secret, but he's a great boss for farming for balance wizards! There is also Zaneki who drops Goat Monk and Koto who drops Ninja Pigs, but they are also both required as part of quests. I miss regular bosses being able to drop spells - now it's all skeleton key bosses.

Fairy Queen. She's my favourite out of all bosses, not just the secret ones. I was so sad when I played Wizard101 again and saw that she was gone :(

theres a few more in mooshu, such as the bosses through the mossback questline, i.e Oakheart
