@CNET my new windtunnel 3 pro pet really grabs the pet hair and fine dust while it doesn't have the newly staggered bristles on the brushroll it still manages to agitate and pull more grit. my sanitaire also does good with deep cleaning aswell.
I rarely comment on UA-cam videos, but in this case I feel compelled. I disagree with this reviewer. I have owned this vacuum for 6 months and have found it to perform very well. It's of similar design to a Dyson or Shark, but has more "cyclones" for better suction at a lower cost. And it does do a nice job of picking up pet hair (cat and dog in my case), contrary to this review. The tools are nice, the detachable hose is very lengthy, the power cord stretches for miles and it has a 5 year Hoover warranty. If I had one complaint it's that there is no light on the front to illuminate dark places, but that's minor. I highly recommend this vacuum.
Just so you know, it was revealed publicly that both CNET and Consumer Reports were paid off by James Dyson of Dyson Corp. to fluff their reviews and give Dyson good ratings and to lie about every other brand.
I didnt have a problem with this vacuum. In fact i specifically bought this for pet. It was recommend brand. The only complant i have is the same with ALL vacuums. You gotta take it apart with a screw driver when the dust and furr clunks in it from the front. There should be a press button on these vacuums already. Like the roomba where you just push a button n the tray opens up n u can put the rollers and everything else out with ease. But. Otherwise. It worked well.
I have 1 here at home and it picks up our 2 dogs' hair just fine.....as well as anything else it should on the floor. Folks need to understand you HAVE to wash your filters once in a while to keep the suction strong or at least clean them very well if you don't feel like washing them. BUT all in all a great vacuum cleaner and the attachments make it even better...highly recommend
Mine doesn’t pick up anymore. Then I found out the filter was missing. Got a new one from amazon. Going to clean the chamber really good and retry. Honestly, I miss my Oreck. It was the best vacuum I ever owned. Had it 15 years before it died.
Recently bought a hoover vacuum cleaner for about £200. In a word it was crap. Stopped sucking after about a month, guarantee service was appalling. Plastic began to crack in places. Just carried on with our ten year plus Henry. Hoover is off my radar when it comes to a new vacuum cleaner. Thankfully Henry's although needing bags, are still of good quality.
I don't have a problem with pet hair and I have an Alaskan Husky! so maybe it's her vac, because mine gets it right out of the carpet like it was nothing.
SteelCity1981 Mine too..also she did not mention the easy on switch..40ft chord and amazing suction ..extra large capacity canister..and the long reach hose with beater brush disconnect..
I have been a Hoover customer for many years, I have a carpet washing machine, and about a month ago, I renewed my Hoover vacuum cleaner for another Hoover vacuum cleaner. But I find that they have done a very idiotic trick. The Pet's accessory that normally stops working due to the accumulation of hair, always came with two Philips screws, so that the customer could disassemble it, remove the hair and continue using it. The trick is to end up in two very thin tunnels, where 90% of all the bits we have in our home do not pass, and some square head screws. All this to complicate things for the client, especially older people who are going to end up in a service to have two "special" screws removed, remove the hair and be charged for doing that, wasting time going to a service, wasting time and fuel. . It is really something against what they have done to the customers, I will go to Home Depot, I will buy a screwdriver that will help me remove those two screws, a shame that Hoover has done with the customer, without any technical explanation to justify it, other than abuse good faith 03-01-2024
i dont think this lady has pets... cause this thing rips pet fur out of neglected carpet like no other machine and doesnt wrap it around the brush even with the old helix brushroll, the brushroll on mine is starting to have tons of missing bristles and ill be upgrading to the new style one. for a bagless machine its pretty damn good. bagged is still better.
Who hates the cord so bad you want to wrap it around your neck and throw the vacuum off a bridge so as to snap your neck and end the misery of using this machine? 🤚
Go with another than Hoover. They're stuff is made in China now, probably in the same plant that makes Brissel and other no name brands. Anyway, its terrible. And I don't own pets. Nothing but problems, no motor overheats and stops working. Only had it for about a year. Last place I lived was hardwood floors where I swept and mopped more than vacuumed. Now in a new place with all carpet mostly, once a week vacuuming is impossible. Going to buy a no name and never again any over priced hunk of junk from Hoover or any other gimmick brand. Never had problems with no name brands. You want a headache and waste lots of money on a hunk of junk... buy one of these piece of shit. You've been warned. Enjoy!
I could not believe the amount of nasty stuff this vacuum pulled out of my carpet🌼 Highly recommend this vacuum - great price too!

This vacuum is super powerful. You’re correct with the pet hair tho. I have 5 dogs so this was cool but not for ppl with dogs.
Umm... It works great for pet hair! it picks up after my two shedders wonderfully.
Thank you for making this reply. It helped me make my purchase.

SteelCity1981 seriously!!! I have 2 Australian shepherds and the pet fur gets picked up sooo easily!

It's the same vacuum from cnet video "Thinking twice about the Dirt Devil Dash Upright Vacuum" or is it?
where are the settings to vacum?
Anybody else having trouble with the floor to hose dial? Can't get mine to turn rendering the attachments useless.

Yes a hoover...
1 vacuum = 1 free flight.
Look it up, lol!!!
Did not bother to hook up attachments to show reach of brush and crevice tools. No sale
I wonder if she even had the brush roll on 😂
How to get it
How do I get that tube this off!

Hoover copied Eureka, Riccar, and Simplicity with the Floor-Tools dial.
Hoover came way before thise
ya
Ok
It is so figgin loud!!!! Works but leaves you deaf!!!
Not worth the money believe me. The only thing that's worse is Hoover's customer service.

So don’t get this vacuum is what you’re saying.
Lol
