After playing Assassins Creed Nexus in VR on Quest 3 i'm sold. Not that the game was stellar but from a technology standpoint the level of immersion is just far beyond standard gaming.
The problem is not that this game is vr exclusive, it’s the fact they are making an already established franchise that’s know for its flat screen titles into a vr game. Example: if insomniac came out and said spider-man 3 is coming out exclusively to vr people would be mad. At that point make a new universe with a new Batman that’s not related to Arkham and there would be no complaints.
$500 to play one game? How untrue is that... In this one year, MetaQuest 3 gets such big games as Assassin's Creed Nexus, Asgard's Wrath 2, Bulletstorm, Medieval Dynasty, Homeworld, Mudrunner, Hitman 3, Batman: Arkham Shadow, Metro Awakening, Wanderer, Behemoth, Alien: Rogue Incursion, Zombie Army... And that's just the beginning. There are 3 thousand games in the Quest store alone, there's plenty to play.
The amount of comments that are some variation of, 'Alright, you got me, ordering a Quest 3 for this', is proof this is gonna sell a lot of systems. Especially when the cheaper model gets announced next month! I'm loving the positive and negative reactions to this, 'Oh no VR?!', is because it looks so good and they don't own a headset. The argument against it being Quest 3 exclusive and it not coming to PSVR2/PC is valid, but Meta did finance this game. WB just okayed it. So without Meta a new Arkham game wouldn't even exist!
Imagine somebody spending 500$ on a ps5 today just being able to still expierence his games only „through a window“ with everything still being flat and being only able to interact with his games through remote control button presses when you could get a entire holodeck for the same price lol
Yo if any of you are complaining about that it's on the quest 3 there's one comment down there that talks about hey if you bought the PS5 for Spider-Man games what's the big deal and the people who think why don't you just put it onto a console hello it's a VR game you physically punch you don't just press a a over and over and over to punch you can't just put a VR game into a console game
Exactly and that's what is going to be amazing about this game. Where're actually going to feel like we're playing as Batman. The game is designed around vr, so we're getting the best experience as possible. Everyone that has ever played virtual reality knows that it is infinite times better than flatscreen games.
I mean those people will actually become batman, see Gotham in full 3D with real scale and plasticity like they would be really there and use their very own hands naturally to interact with batmans gadgets themselves where in previous games we just were able to see gotham „through a window“ and only remote control batman in that video They will have a blast lol
You dont get the point of this game. Its not being made to sell as many copies as possible. If you want such games just play games like call of duty. This is made to push gaming a huge step forward, similar to what half life alyx or assassins creed nexus have done. You are no longer just seeing gotham „through a window“ (Tv) but you will be actually there in full 3D, with real scale and plasticity using your very own hands to interact with batmans gadgets instead of just pressing buttons remote controlling an RC batman in your tv. This will be like total next level. And the point of the game, similar to Nintendo games, is to sell quest 3 Headsets. Its not about the games sales. I wouldnt be surprised if they will even bundle this game with a quest 3(s) later this year essentially giving it away for free.
You're missing out a LOT if you think vr games are just tech demos and experiences. You should play Walking Dead S&S or Half Life Alyx or lone echo or blade and sorcery or contractors or any of the numerous VR games that actually play as games and not walking simulators.
4:05- It's Roger Craig Smith, who was the voice of Ezio Auditore da Firenze from the Ezio Trilogy of Assassin's Creed and I believe he also did Sonic the Hedgehog.
Yeah and first of all me playing a VR game the creators camouflage of Batman Arkham shadow they had complaints of people saying hey why can't you make Iron Man VR a console game because it's a VR game you have to use your body they would have to create an entire new game engine you can't just turn a VR game into a console game because VR means virtual reality you have a headset on your head and controllers in your hands where you physically move around and physically punch move your arms you can't just put that onto a console
Well first of all if you never played the Quest 3 you should maybe buy the quest 3 and buy Batman Arkham Shadow and a game called red matter 2 with the quest 3 upgrade to be honest I'm pretty sure to be honest I did a comparison myself they look pretty darn similar
I don't have a meta quest but I'm lowkey hyped. Looks better then Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad. I can tell the people behind this game are very passionate about the Arkhamverse and I love that. That's what Suicide Squad was missing. This game feels like an Arkham game
I'm loving watching the reactions from none vr players they all say the same ahhhh it looks alright in same tone that really says damn it actually looks good but then followed by who's gonna buy a quest for this i just say this how many bought a ps5 for Spidey as I know alot of people did lol then you go comments n so many people are saying well time to go vr!!!😂😂😂
4:45y ou are reasoning incorrectly. the game is made by meta by its studio, nothing stopped WB from making a no-VR game, but they didn’t do it. they lose money because they do nothing. although wait, they make 2 shitty games
Do you realize that next month meta will announce the quest 3s cheaper than Q3? Do you understand that the plan is sell a cheaper heatset (299$ probably) and use this game as a selling console exclusive?
But this isn't the first person perspective as you've always known it. It's true first person perspective. You look down, you see your body as Batman. You look at your hands. They're the gloves. You look up, down, you're not in your own house anymore. You're in another world.
God this is awful lol. All of the takes are horrible. And the fact that you try to cope with it by saying "ehh it's alright" when it literally looks like a new Batman Arkham game. Also after that trailer, more people are actually in favor of the game and think it's going to turn out really well. And guess what? I've never played VR before. This might be what gets me into it.
After playing Assassins Creed Nexus in VR on Quest 3 i'm sold. Not that the game was stellar but from a technology standpoint the level of immersion is just far beyond standard gaming.
Nexus was stellar imo. It had everything that made AC games great and removed all the boring bloat.
Half life Alyx is amazing as well
To be fair exclusive games have always existed Spider Man 2 is exclusively on PS5 and no one complains
100%

@@v-m-e I think i'm more inclined to accept the fact that Arkham Shadow doesn't exist on console because I see it as a bonus Arkham.
@@v-m-e If they did that for Spiderman 3, yes I'd be mad. But if they did it for some prequel game or something, I wouldn't be upset at all
@@v-m-eagain nothing new has been done before stop crying

Developers said the game will be 10-12 hours to replicate the length of Arkham Asylum
Why so much hate for VR ? I do not own any console but I own a Quest 3. VR is the future of gaming.

@@coolertuep great point agree 💯
Because people are lazy and don’t want to move their body to play games
@@robbieandretti true! True the way I see it is I workout and play at the same time
@@robbieandretti if im lazy i will just watch tv, even more relaxing. But if i want to expierence something amazing, im going to play vr.

Game play is supposed to be about the same length as Arkham Asylum
This game is going to be amazing!
A cheaper Meta Quest 3 is coming out later this year, so it makes sense they're getting these exclusives for it.
Yes and its called Quest 3s but you better buy Quest 3 instead cuz it have Pancake lenses !
Wow, this actually looks really good. I don’t have a meta quest but I’m excited for the people who get to play this. Should be exciting
I mean those people will actually become batman, see Gotham in full 3D with real scale and plasticity like they would be really there and use their very own hands naturally to interact with batmans gadgets themselves where in previous games we just were able to see gotham „through a window“ and only remote control batman in that video

Dude just try VR its way better than flat gaming smh
"Perhaps I Treated You Too Harshly".
This is the first time in my life that I want to play a VR game. This look Amazing

You are kinda wrong. Some people will buy quest 3 to play it. Like some people do that with PS5 some people buy it to play spider man
4:05- It's Roger Craig Smith, who was the voice of Ezio Auditore da Firenze from the Ezio Trilogy of Assassin's Creed and I believe he also did Sonic the Hedgehog.
whats the difference between this and spiderman being exclusive to ps5?
Exactly most people only brought the PS5 for the exclusives where's the hate for that? 🗿
True
Yeah and first of all me playing a VR game the creators camouflage of Batman Arkham shadow they had complaints of people saying hey why can't you make Iron Man VR a console game because it's a VR game you have to use your body they would have to create an entire new game engine you can't just turn a VR game into a console game because VR means virtual reality you have a headset on your head and controllers in your hands where you physically move around and physically punch move your arms you can't just put that onto a console
ps5만이 더 좋은 그래픽을 보여주는것처럼 VR에서는 Q3만이 휴대용기기로 저 그래픽과 게임을 개발할 수 있다.

Dude trust me Vr really isn't as bad as you think.
Seems like you dont know much about VR. I suggest giving it a try! It'll probably change your opinion on this.

Bro is seething
Oh dang I had no idea he was going after Rat King in this one that’s cool but I’d rather have a different superhero game than Batman
This game would make more money if it was on Xbox series S/X and PS5
The story does look interesting, but I'm not super into the first person perspective, even the basic stuff like gliding and fighting feels awkward.
But this isn't the first person perspective as you've always known it. It's true first person perspective. You look down, you see your body as Batman. You look at your hands. They're the gloves. You look up, down, you're not in your own house anymore. You're in another world.

Should be a normal ps5 game being a vr game is stupid
How so? Just another flatscreen game is boring. VR can take gameplay to levels never before experienced by flatscreen games.
