James, I drove this lady when she was on big brother, words fail me as to what a lovely woman she is, cheeky, funny and warm, one of my favourites to have driven over the years moving people around, Helen deserves all the success she gets,

Great podcast. Cannot believe this is the same girl on Big Brother sll those years ago. This is so raw, she has shown bravery and courage talking about her childhood and experiences in life. This Helen is so real and vulnerable it's fantastic to see, this girl is a warrior. Great interview James, you have a gift for bringing out the realness in people and give them space to express their stories and experiences.

I listened to the other interview recently with Michaela Wain. The way I see things is that Helen did a job out of the sheer need to provide for herself and her son. She was young and had had a bad time growing up. Then someone came along and outed her. She would never have been employed then in a normal job due to the negativity and notoriety at the time so she's had no choice but to make some money while she could. I don't think she's a bad person. She's honest and got upset here, that was tough to see. I wish her all the best. So much nicer to be nice. X

But I’ve just watched her on this morning being interviewed by Jeremy Kyle and she didn’t come across well at all. She comes across as she’s milking her 15 mins of fame with Rooney. I met Helen Wood a few years back at elstree studios in London for Big Brothers Bit on the side she was a panel guest and I was an audience memeber, she seemed like a sound lassie and when we got out afterwards I'd spoken to her a little and to me she came across as a little sad and misunderstood and now I know it was her childhood that played a massive part in it, I mean she didn't want people to see that vulnerable side but I'm glad she's now speaking out about everything and that takes a lot of balls to do especially in the public eye.

I was a class clown too, plus I was always told that I wasn't academically bright, I'd been told that time after time, offset against my brother who was the brains of the family, and he knew it, and was celebrated throughout our childhoods. I ended up on heroin for many years from age 16, then got 'so0ber' to drugs, and ended up an alcoholic, but I have my 4 kids and I'm sober now. I also find it incredibly hard to concentrate, but at the age of 33 I did a degree in Engls8ih, and ended up getting a higher 2nd, so you can do it, we get told who and what we are growing up by our family, but you can break those mental chains. You get into that mindset when you're told what you are and are not capable of. I think this lady IS intelligent, and I loved this episode, she's great and down to earth, and funny.

Love it when people say “fell/fall pregnant”….like you just trip and suddenly get in the family way😂
Also, that poor guy was probably just trying to let her know he wouldn’t be bothered by her past cause a lot of people would be…she may have missed out on a genuinely good guy (or he sidestepped a landmine🤷🏻‍♀️😅) 😞
And yes, it’s technically wrong when someone knows someone else is married and sleeps with them anyway, but unless you personally know the spouse, your responsibility is 1% out of 100%. It ain’t actually your problem no matter how many people try to make it out to be. It’s the cheater who is more at fault and in his case, I don’t feel bad for his wife anymore anyway, cause she chose to stay with the loser (who did it to her again and again).

I heavily disliked Helen from both her times in BB because I found her to be a bully. Particularly to Jarlay who she called Slug, and then her second time in BB Brian. Remember when she kept saying to Brian that he looked like a rapist? Ive never really since see her talk about how she treated people in BB or show remorse for it. But she comes across as a nice person in this interview so Im torn really.
