Same with Marilyn Manson. I just saw him last night and he sounded MUCH better than recent videos. However, I did see Breaking Benjamin last May and they sounded pretty bad, to be honest.
James Branstetter the best vocal performance from Chad you’ll find on UA-cam is ‘Dig’ from Ozzfest 2001. Most of the videos on here don’t do him any justice at all, I’ve seen him live 5 times with Hellyeah and he was amazing every time

MuDvAyNe style of screaming and singing is exhausting trust me I do MuDvAyNe songs everyday and it isn’t easy and I’m still a teenager with healthy lungs and plenty of energy

This is honestly the most underrated metal band of all time. In their prime, they got lumped into Nu-metal with KoRn and Limp Bizkit, but, Chad is an animal, you could stick Ryan into almost any metal band on the bass, and Matt as well, just a crazy good drummer. The first 4 albums were so good and I feel the get overlooked.

The first time they were playing a bunch of the LD 50 stuff and Chad was nailing everything. The music video for Happy? is fucking badass. The song creshendos as the storm comes in, then on the climax that twister hits. This song is badass. I never get tired of hearing it.
Bands like Mudvayne deserve a higher level of respect than many artists, because of their higher skill. This stuff isn't easy to play, but when they perform like this live, it shows their albums are quality music worth paying for. It's more of an advertisement for their live shows. You know what to expect when you see them. Some bands make great albums, but suck live. The fact they can replicate their CDs and get the crowd amped up while doing it is what makes or breaks a band, Mudvayne made it.
