Stallone's progressive physique improvement with each film is impressive. He was pudgy and flat in the first Rocky movie and he just got better and better.
Stallone is a beast and very dedicated. He trained regularly year round so he never really needed to do any sort of major transformation. But he really kicked it up a notch for the 8 to 12 weeks before a film role where he had to have his shirt off. He would even hire pro bodybuilding legends like Franco Columbo per the video to help him mold the type of physique he wanted. But most importantly, he was super strict with his nutrition during a period of training for a film. He even admitted he went too far at times like with Rocky 3 when he wanted to look ridiculously lean and cut.
Ppl can talk about roids but his physique is def attainable naturally. Just might take longer. Actually it will but either way you still gotta pump those weights. This just shows you what they do to gain muscle fast for a role. He didn't look like the Rock or even the size of Arnold. Sounds like he was on a time crunch so had to to what he had to
Incredibly well informed and well presented video. You hit on all the important facts, and really covered how Sly attained this seemingly impossible physique, in the time he was provided. For anyone watching this video in 2022, you will not find real Anavar, and you certainly won’t be doing said Anavar under an MD’s supervision. But you definitely can have Stallone’s Rambo 3 physique without steroids. Patience and continuous progress is what it takes. Keep heading in the right direction every week, and you will end up at your goal.
His “secret” to getting ripped “fast” was largely due to being in great shape consistently for 9 years while filming Rocky I, II, III, AND First Blood, then used THAT foundation and performed several weeks of insane training in addition to 9 years of being in great shape.
For future videos, I think a Nightwing video would be very interesting. Dick Grayson may not be as big or train as hard as Bruce, but he is still one of the most shredded characters in DC and there has yet to be a video I have seen to be as detailed and informative as these ones. Purpose would be: > Mental concentration > Prevent RSI > General items lifting around the office at max is 10Kg > Commuting via public transport and walking. What body energy systems targets are for such a person, to be stronger to face the above?
Lots of cardio vascular work for sure since you'd be sitting a lot. Then just functional strength training! Deadlifts, Single leg squats, Heavy Carries, Rows, Landmine press, Core work ect
No matter what you do make sure you do sets of push-ups until failure every night you are not sore. The real secret is to not give up and consistency. Obviously any consistent gym workouts will be better than your sedentary office job routine. People underestimate calisthenics and think you can’t get strong but surprisingly if you look at prisoners, they are not allowed weights. So they improvise with body weight excercises. These guys end up getting huge, because they have nothing else to do. Like they will do many many sets of 10 or 20 pushups throughout the day. After a while your body adapts really fast and they can do hundreds of pushups a day. I spent a year straight only doing gym bro workouts for a year, twice a week and made amazing progress, also making sure I ate at least .08 grams of protein per day per pound of body weight, got sleeping meds so I can sleep (you will not grow unless you train harder than last time, eat enough or eat correctly and sleep enough) but started to make way better progress and didn’t plateau any more once I started incorporating pushups and pull ups every day. I was too skinny at six foot three, and ended up gaining about 40 pounds and most of it muscle. No steroids. And anyone who saw me was surprised. Also I’ve seen guys who don’t workout on UA-cam gain an INCH on their arms in a month by doing 100 pushups a day and then moving it to 200 pushups after that month. Gotta take rest days in between though. Subscribe to as many gym and excercise related channels to gain knowledge and figure out what works. But it’s all about pushing yourself to get to the gym or just at least get on the ground and do push-ups. It’s all about hypertrophy

Yes he did roids to get in shape in 8 weeks for a film. You people in the comments don't have a film in 2 months. So you don't need to do roids. Just do the routine and be patient.
The muscle quality, the fullness, the vascularity is not the same. It's also very difficult to keep the muscle mass naturally when bodyfat gets very low unless you have elite genetics. For most guys very severe dieting means plummeting test level and there's not much you can do about it.
Men, do not hesitate for one moment to put a restraining order against your female partner if you feel your safety and health is in jeopardy. Placing a permanent restraining order on my female partner was absolutely the wisest protective move of my adult lifetime. My only regret is not doing it years earlier. Men, be safe!
no doubt he trains hard but realisticly all actors who need muscle fast with a time limit take steroids. Yes they work hard but there are no natural training here. Actors dont have years to build a body at a moments notice For a movie role. They all take so lets stop pretending all action actors just have great genetics to build muscle over night.
That's something that Jeff Nippard called waste sets , how do we balance training to failure and when do we know which are waste sets in such that the reps are wasted
Your assessment isn't correct. The book series First Blood originally written by David Morrell was only a basis for the movie series. In which all the screenplays were co-written and co-directed by Sylvester Stallone himself there was never any other actors that were considered for the part and it was indeed Sylvester Stallone himself who felt that he needed to gain more weight there was never a fear of him being replaced by a different actor, it was because other big time actors coming on the scene likes Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jean-Claude Van Damme were all clearly much larger with cleaner physiques because they bodybuild. So Sylvester Stallone's drive to put on the muscle was to be more astetically pleasing for his viewer's and compete with the other action stars coming on the scene.
STEROIDS AND DIURETICS - Simply look at the fact that this guy hit Delts every day. The recovary alone needed for growth would require this. Dude was jacked, reminded me of Frank Zane.
Sly was smart in his use of gear; he also had access to higehr quality meds. There is nothing wrong with that. His body, his choice to use "steroids" as to whic specific Peds, dosage etc that's details for him.

Rambo was doing the impossible Batman myth training that would paralyze many
Does Sly have an injury in his right pectoral muscle or had part of it removed from an injury?
Ya he tore it while training with Franco!
@@ParisDemers Ah, he does work hard! Thanks man.
What is the background music?
no doubt he trains hard but realisticly all actors who need muscle fast with a time limit take steroids. Yes they work hard but there are no natural training here. Actors dont have years to build a body at a moments notice For a movie role. They all take so lets stop pretending all action actors just have great genetics to build muscle over night.
But high volume is the sweet spot 15-20/25-30 reps.

Try it again! Should be fixed!

THANK YOU
Yes Frank Zane "The Chemist". Guy had the best build ever but it doesn't last without all the chemicals.
@@TrustNone35 frank was natural look at him he's still jacked and hes over 50
He was much leaner in rocky 4 than 3
Lol stop
He trained with the great Franco COLOMBU rip !
The first Rambo was the best
His secret was Testo and HGH. And of course he did work out as well.
Sly was smart in his use of gear; he also had access to higehr quality meds. There is nothing wrong with that. His body, his choice to use "steroids" as to whic specific Peds, dosage etc that's details for him.
Probably did primo, anavar, and a diuretic for those 8 weeks. BB’s didn’t use insane doses back then either.
Does that include which steroids he used and peptides/sarms etc
Yes
Sylvester has been on steroids his whole life. Secret explained.
he is an actor yeah he could use gear hgh to get bigger for roles . those made great movies . one thing young male actors today could not do like him cause technology in filming and stunman getting much better .
