@cocaineminor4420 I agree... I'm 1.8m myself and used to be considered "tall" in my time. But with the younger generation, it's quite obvious that I would be considered "normal" rather than tall. However, SG still has lots of short people from the older generations + naturalised citizens from south-east Asia that keep our average height low.

My Irish Grandfather died at 97 and even he knew “Oriental” wasn’t the preferred word anymore. He said it was the term of “his youth.”
