2:14 bro tried his hardest to have a genuine reaction, knowing damn well he already went inside the room to setup the camera.
maybe he is showing how well he can act so he can be in a film through his youtube videos and im sure he would do well not really the lead character in a film, maybe in an advert one thats about new cars like fiat as he has italian blood in him.
@@rondonnis6588 nah its cool lol, its a good video, its just a thought i had. obviously u gotta do what u gotta do to get the right shots.
@@backs8189 yes he isnt the devil incarnate if he sets up cameras in a room then re-enters and looks all amazed like he has just walked in at that very moment. he is just trying to make it interesting and testing his acting skills to see if they are up to scratch to lol
This is a fair and solid roast - I respect it.
@@brettconti It wasn’t to bad huh, nah but i love your travel videos man, keep it up.
Minor point, chewing gum isn't illegal. You just cannot buy it locally, except for dental gum. You can bring it in from overseas for personal consumption. Thanks for a great video about Singapore! I often say, this country is 15 minutes into the future. :)
You are half correct, you can bring gum into Singapore but you must dispose it properly if not you still have to pay the fine.
Sales of chewing gum is actually what is illegal.
Edit : ICA can still confiscate/dispose your bubble gum if found in large quantities or when found during random checks at custom regardless of amount.
i just pop nicotine gum LMAO
@@wuchenxia5834 WHERED U GET IT
Well my parents keep saying it’s illegal to chew-
Note that the minibar isn't always free, even in the suites. There are sensors in the fridge to know when an item has been taken and it's auto charged to the room. Even if you're just picking it up to look at the packet, it gets charged :(
Brett Conti living his CRA dreams!!! That pool is insane :DDDDD Enjoy it guys!
Hi
Hi Bobby
did not expect to see u here 😲😲
Living Bobby!
Nice
Seeing a foreigner get so excited over hawker centre food fills my whole heart honestly
Yes, you can't swim in the Marina Bay Sands infinity pool if you're not a guest, but you CAN visit the two rooftop bars at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and one of them is situated directly beside the infinity pool. It's a top spot for a sunset or evening drink. They are some of the best bars in the world, but they're not cheap - expect to pay around $20 USD for a beer. (It was $22 Singapore dollars for a beer last time I was there, which was a year or two ago. For me, that's around $26 Australian dollars.)
My friends just booked a normal room at MBS and for some reason they upgraded them to a Merlion suite which is almost 400 square meters with gym and massage room. They are just two regular guys so it just shows that it can happen! I miss Singapore as I lived there for 10 years so this video made me rather nostalgic
Hey mate we are at the same boat. Lived and worked at Singapore for 10 years before i moved to Land down Under. Now after almost 10 years again (exact 9) I will become a tourist in Singapore with my family for a few days. Looking forward once again to step at my considered second home Singapore.
I am a Singaporean and I throughly enjoyed the content 😊👍🏻
Gardens by the bay is a huge bucket list item for me! Nice to know that there's some other budget options in Singapore besides that insanely expensive hotel even though it looks stunning!
One day I would to love to stay in a place like that. Been thinking of going to Singapore, its just so expensive.
ive been to singapore on my trip around the world and i LOVED the city so much.. god damn. we luckily went there on national day rehearsal and YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY check out when this day is. it was one of the best days in my entire life. it was so so COOL !!
damnnn im glad you enjoyed our parade rehearsal ❤❤ Maybe come again and experience the first night time Formula 1 grand prix as well
9 august national dayy
Really enjoyed the video and enjoying the channel. My first job when I graduated from University (College) was in Singapore and was a great experience to have. Taking my wife and kids back there in a few months for a family holiday and cannot wait to try the food again - so many other places to find great food there. Thanks for the video!!
Singapore always looked like an amazing country to me. Even Changi airport is an amazing experience to have with their indoor waterfall and jungle! Hope to visit one day
You are the best!! 😊 I being following you for few years now and I can just said that your videos are so professional and your channel growing like this is inspiring! Keep going and wishing you so much more success!! 💪
Just to clarify Brett, chewing gum itself isn't banned in Singapore, only the sale is banned. If you bring it from overseas for personal consumption, you're fine.
We all know the experience wouldn't have been complete without the fruity umbrella ☔ drink at the infinity pool. That was definitely a must. Great catch of the light show. It looked magical. The skyline was absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful city with us. Can't wait for the next installment of of your travel journeys. I always look forward to seeing what you discover.😎
I love Singapore and have been visiting since the late 1980s! The Marina Bay Sands Hotel is a big part of the city's appeal these days. So is the Marina Bay waterway itself.
I just came back from 6 nights in Singapore. It was my 2nd time there. I love Singapore and am already planning my next visit!
Awesome Video Brett! Thanks for sharing!
Been there, the whole experience is kinda hyped up but the breakfast buffet was awesome. Totally worth it
This video is amazing, Brett! 👍
Thank you for sharing your beautiful experience with us , love you 💖💖
Welcome to Singapore and thanks for visiting Singapore. This was not your first trip to Singapore. I appreciate you guys sharing your positive views about Singapore. You guys had an option to stay in a much inexpensive hotel, however you guys paid much more to have a experience to stay a day at marina bay sands. As a proud Singaporean myself i am glad that you guys explaining about the cleanliness in Singapore and the safety in Singapore. I also loved you guys enjoying our local food at our hawker centres. There are more hawker centres at our heartlands where you would be able to find more inexpensive food options where we locals dine. Maybe for your next travel to Singapore, it would be in your bucket list. Thanks again for your awesome vlog. I am looking forward for more vlogs from you guys. Cheers and Happy New Year wishes to you guys !!!
As a Singaporean, I would rather live in Malaysia. Travel in kelantan or terengganu are amazing. Nice and cheap foods as well. Just like my travel vlog. There are alot of insane and beautiful beaches.
@@ariffnordin4481 as a singaporean, malaysian food damn sedap. Everything’s also a lot cheaper in malaysia and there are a lot less restrictions. But that also means more crime rates so yea there’s always a balance ❤
@@plty3931 yup I agree on that 100%
@@plty3931 I love Singapore. Used to spend couple month there at Cairnhill Rd if I remember the name correct. Was a great gym very near.
@@teresalehtonen8499 Singapore amazing but boring
Hi Brett! I saw you filming at the Jewel and said hi to you on the escalator. Super cool to see you - it felt like seeing a celebrity! Love watching your videos, you inspired me to travel around Southeast Asia
Great bumping into you. Hope you enjoy your travels!
I'm glad you got to experience my favourite hotel in the world! Great video :D
Loved this video Brett.. Singapore is still so beautiful after all these years 😍😍 Also, Noelle is just the cutest human being. Take care of her hey ❤️❤️
I love your video bro. Very creative and your amazing content I love it.
Cool video. Your every video is very interesting and I like vlogs from different parts of the world 🌎❤️
I love your travel videos! Thank you)
A great vlog, you motivate us at every step to continue with our small youtube project.
I went to Singapore over the summer! I stayed at a hotel near and with Marina Bay Sands in view. Otherwise, the skyline is a bit lackluster.
We appreciate your content. Have a fruitful year ahead.
Appreciate your comments Sophia. Doesn't go unnoticed
It's good to see you back on track Brett
I LOVE SINGAPORE!!! I've only been there once. I didn't stay at this hotel, but I did take the elevator up to a lounge fairly high up in the hotel, a lounge that anyone can go to even if you're not staying there, and I enjoyed a glass of wine while I overlooked the water and the city. BEAUTIFUL! It is my dream to stay there for either a night or a whole weekend, as you did. Thank you for making this video.
So vividly narrated ... I felt I was there.... Waiting for similar videos....
Thanks Brett bro for giving us new experience for travelling being in affordable countries.Would like to see your cool and fun video, whenever you want to visit Uzbekistan.
I was just in Singapore for New Years with my architecture study abroad group! All those places you visited I already miss it.
I really love the way you convey your emotions I hope to be more like you❤🙌
You should go to the hot pool in the gym locker room with sauna and a steam room too. Helps with aching muscles. Glad you came back to tick your MBS bucketlist. I was at MBS on staycation for 2 nights from Monday till Wednesday. You can always request for more juices, soft drinks and snacks. I stayed there on my own and called up the room service for additional 6 bottles of OJ but I did tip the chamber maid :) Btw, since you are from the Big Apple, go try Urban Hawker in Manhattan. It's the one and only authentic Singapore food and have great reviews. Go do review there :)
Near 700k subs well done lovely tour and stay thanks 4 sharing
Good luck bro,all the best wishes
I think there's nothing wrong with taking those free small hygiene kits, coffee, slippers, teas, etc. as long as they are meant to be replaced. I've read a comment of a hotel staff and he said that those stuff are being replaced the moment you checked out the room. So it's less hassle for them if you take home those stuff because it much easier for them to put new ones.
I'm from Malaysia 🇲🇾 and I always watch your videos when you release new videos😊
amazinggggg!!!❤
Brett can go to the edge of the earth and still find coffee 🤣 I love it ❤️☕️😃👏🏾
Many of us can’t live without coffee.
I love love love your content, I like how you drop gems for content creators... Skillshare is so bomb thanks
Amazing videos ❤
I couldn’t wait till this was up! Reminds me of the crazy rich Asians movie 🎥 😊
Love that movie. Hope you enjoyed the vlog!
@@brettconti Will Philippines be next? love the SG content btw
@@charleskevinjader8779 Here filming now ;)
I saw that movie in theaters like the week after I came back from my Singapore and Thailand trip. I wish it came out like two weeks earlier so I could have seen it before the trip and imagined Crazy Rich Asians in Singapore.
Wowww perfect place to visit 😍🔥
I love your video . I’m new subscriber here in AMSTERDAM
Singapore is an amazing country. The best airport - Changi airport. Gardens by the bay is one of the places I want to visit in my bucket list. Nice to know that there are some other budget options in SG besides that insanely stunning and expensive hotel, great structure though. 😅
Hi i am a singaporean myself. I hope you love singapore, Singapore is such a great country!
so you know that this is not the most expensive hotel, just the most famous, lol, love Singapore so much!
Ya definitely worth it!! Too swim in that pool with a incredible view of the city. 🤙
That's sick, Singapore on my bucket list as well! Syke, i live here 😂 Honestly seems like you paid way more than what we paid. If you ever stay again, see if you can request for the room that face gardens by the bay, it comes with a balcany. Hope you guys enjoy the trip
Wonderful hotel. Back in 2018, they had a massive discount so we paid around 300USD for a double room. Amazing experience. They even let us check in super early without any surcharge.
That's not the most expensive hotel In Singapore. Hotels like Capella, Shangri-la, Ritz Carlton, Raffles Hotel St Regis to name a few usually cost more.
Yes they do.. however Marina Bay Sands has LOTS of luxury things to offer. So yes they are more expensive but sometimes Marina Bay is better than those hotels. Another thing you also have to keep in mind is the fact that some places have better customer service than others, and I’m not hating on any of these hotels. Just trying to clear some things up. :D
Depends, for example my dad works at marriott, so we get a 70 percent discount on the hotels from marriott, so who knows, this could be the most expensive
Manifesting Incan visit very soon.
Raffles in Singapore is significantly more than marina bay sands and any of the ones mentioned above. I mean that’s what you’d expect when raffles basically founded the country 🤣
Singapore is such a premium place. Definitely unlike any other place in the world.
That room is usually SGD900+ although I paid half the price on both my stays. I suppose bkg fr US, the price hiked. Not sure if someone alrdy commented but that room is on the club floor so meals like breakfast, high tea, evening cocktails and canapés are all included on top of free hot/cold beverages all day long so we dint spend any money separately for food whatsoever 😊 And the food is top notch!
i stayed at one of the rooms here in the summer with my family it was super amazing the room had a karaoke room and it’s own steam room and sauna it is an amazing place to stay! x
That is epic!
Welcome to Singapore again ! 🇸🇬
Thank you for doibg a great video on Singapore.
You were at Lau Par Sat, should had some local delights. What you had were Thai food but am sure it is still delish. Visit Singapore again. :)
Stunning! please go to the W hotel at Singapore next.
Stayed at marina bay sands hotel a couple of times. Love it. Food is amazing.
Welcome to Singapore! Have a blast :)
The room you stayed is still an old room. MBS has a newly renovated room that feels more luxury and worth that 1000$ price. I was lucky to get that room when I stayed there last week.
just so funny when ross went to reception desk to check out :))))
i remember staying there, the buffet in the morning was amazing
I am in Singapore now its awesome I live so close to marina bay sands Singapore is very very expensive
but it’s worth coming
I went to Singapore back in 2019 but sadly wasn't able to stay in Marina Bay Sands. Definitely going to add this to my bucket list ❤
Such an iconic hotel! We'd find it hard to part with $1000 for a one night stay, but it certainly looks amazing.
We were in Singapore last year and loved visiting the Hawker markets. The food in Singapore is soooo delicious! 😋
Thank you for the compliment! Would love to have y’all visit us again soon!
It’s can be around $500 if you book in advance and go during off peak season. :)
@@sayurik thanks for the tip!
Beautiful place 😍
I’m glad you liked SG. The best advice I can give you is if you ever come to Singapore, never on November-January come to SG.Late February is my suggestion. Monsoon hits hard for us in SG. It rains like it suns.
yooo but this year it rained SO HUGE continuously for like 2 weeks or more in feb..but usually feb is a great time yes
The clip of Ross from Friends was really funny!
The pool's unique design and ambiance make it a memorable and sought-after feature of the hotel. Haven't anyone tried swimming in the pool yet?
Pool is on my bucket list--2024, I'll be there!!
Enjoy your stay dude
Went there for our SEA vacation last month. Singapore is a great country to visit and Thailand as well. My heart goes to the majestically stunning beauty@ Malaysia tho❤ longing to be there again...😢 now back in NYC
Thailand is amazing the peoples
Wow, the place looks amazing. And for $1100 you better get all those extra chips and snacks and drinks etc. lol wow, the Hawker station there looks insane. When you go back to New York, you should try the New Urban Hawker it’s pretty cool just not as cool as Singapore. That light show is stunning. The cheapest Michelin star restaurant that’s awesome. Great video Brett.
I was just there in August, went to Malaysia and Vietnam on the same trip. Singapore was easily our favorite place. Great video makes me want to go back.
Hi Handsome, I've been watching your Vlogs for over a year and a half. I was looking at finding an apartment in NYC. I admire your attractiveness yet I love parts of your personality. Your love adventure ,travel different and ethnic food .swimming. You seem to be intelligent, kind ,caring, and generous. Your videos are almost always interesting ,creative, informative and fun.
YES FINALLY A NEW VIDEO
been a hectic few weeks but excited to get back on schedule 💪
Anyone else curious as to what happened to Brett’s previous girl??… I’m always here for the content, but I can’t help but to feel the desire for some clarification! All my love Brett😌
I have the same question she was so cute and part of so many videos.
As it is in life... Sometimes people don't continue on journeys together. I also noticed the previous girl is currently out of the picture. Neverthless Brett is still giving us great travel content as always! Have a great year Brett.
I mean her new girl is really cute too, my man Brett know how to keep it up
@@hectorrojas8942 I was invested into the last one 😝😂😂😂 Now I gotta start all over.
Hey Tony, we split up last year. She's a great girl but at the core of it we had different values in life. No hard feelings, just didn't work out.
Looks amazing! Can you please share the name of the other hotel you mention towards the end?
Finally a vid about singapore
I stayed at some of the best ones in Singapore and Fullerton By the Bay was the most expensive of the hotel and the most beautiful! Marina Bay Sands was really mehh experience compared to the rest. If you get another chance to come try, make sure to try Fullerton By The Bay!
Loved your video Brett! One quick question: Do they still do any checks (like temperature, etc.) when you enter public places like supermarkets? I'm about to visit Singapore and don't like those checks...
not anymore
Welcome to Singapore while it lasts!!
I would say if you have the money, do it... stay in an expensive hotel when traveling abroad, but if you're going to be gone for a whole week, I'd say spend the rest in cheaper accomodations to save money. Maybe on the last day, if you're in a big city, stay in the nicest hotel.... that's what I would do. I actually do this when visiting places like Las Vegas. I might stay one night at the Bellagio, and the rest at cheaper hotels off the strip, to sort of mix it up abit, but also stay comfortably for one night and experiencing the strip first hand while not spending a ton (as the Bellagio can easily be $300 a night or more depending on when you go -- although I tend to go there on the offseason so things are a bit cheaper).
Manifesting that I can visit that as well soonest. ❤❤❤
It almost looks worth it haha, great Singapore visit!
Great video brett. Hope to see you in India soon.
I usually visit Singapore for a couple of weeks at a time. If you are unlucky, you can indeed get a week of almost non-stop rain. That's scary if you can't extend your stay while waiting for the weather to improve.
Glad you enjoy your short stay. I have stayed in MBS several time, maybe you just booked last minute or during peak season and that's why spending over US$1k, a tip is booking off peak and maybe a normal room without all the freebies in the fridge 😅
Visiting Lau Pa Sat (LPS) and trying Thai Chicken 😮 probably need to do some research before hitting our Hawker Centre. You missed trying our delicious Satay there, didn't even try our Chicken Rice (maybe not in LPS), also our delightful Char Kway Tiao (black sauce fried noodles) 😂 and many more. At least you tried our Tiger Beer 🍺
I was lucky enough to get booking for a good price on the 53rd floor (?) back in 2018. While the view of the city is definitely gorgeous, not being able to see the Sands takes away from some of the awe staying in the city. I think my fav when I go is still the Pan Pacific.
Welcome to the garden city! 😃
I stayed there in 2019 for 4 nights! It was awesome 👌.
as a local, i'm really glad you liked it! :D
I was in Singapore about a week ago and went up to the top of that hotel. The lobby and everything looks expensive. But the room looks a bit basic for $1100. I would expect at least a bigger bed. But maybe it's just because it's Singapore. Anyway SG was great. Stayed for one day and no rain luckily.
watching this as a singaporean is fun
the scene from Friends had me dying hahaha
