Corrections & Additions! Qi Blade Jade - Empowered 3rd strike is not effected by tao fruit and does 200 damage - not 400 Immovable Jade - Dashing is not considered moving for this jade meaning you can still be somewhat mobile and get the benefits of the shorter charge!
The stun on talisman attachment is so unbelievably good I've been using it throughout the entire game I've never taken it off. It's so good for bosses for example like lady ethereal because the stun cancels her clones. it's so versatile
Yeah man its really good! Just keep in mind for bosses (including Lady Ethereal) you'll only get an extra 0.05 seconds using the jade - The long stun is just a part of that particular boss mechanic if I am remembering right!
Great video and guide! I want to point out some corrections: Qi Blade quintuples the BASE third strike damage, which means it will only deal 200 damage. For some reason, it is unaffected by tao fruit and sword upgrades. While Immovable does require you to be standing still, you still get the time reduction if you press dash, so you can stay mobile that way. However, falling to the ground disables the jade, so it is best to spam it on the ground or dash in the air after each use. Divine Hand will cause an Unbounded Counter to appear as soon as you tap parry, so in practice, you can’t charge individual Unbounded Counters as quickly. This also disables a mechanic that allows you to Tai Chi Kick and Unbounded Counter the same move. (Don’t sleep on it because of this though, it’s still a busted jade) Again, great job on the video, it’s very informative.
Hey thanks for pointing that out! The Qi Blade damage was one of the few things I just mathed out instead of physically tested... and of COURSE it had to behave in an unexpected way 😅
It was great assisting with some of the research for this video! I did help out with some of the numbers but don't get it twisted, the vast majority of this Vega did himself. And he did an excellent job!
Hey, you missed something about the charged strike speed jade. Dashing doesn't count as moving to the jade! You are free to dash when charging and the jade will still activate
I found no such interactions in my research and talking to the community. If you think otherwise point me in the right direction and I'd be more than happy to investigate!
