We have been riding the last two months above 90 degrees and absolutely soupy humidity here in North Florida - South Georgia area. Thanks for the videos. Would love to get out there for some mountain trails.
I have done this trail from the bottom twice. Fun trail and beautiful area but it does tend to have lots of hikers/dogs. You run into snow drifts about 3/4 way up still in May though. Better for the June months.
Should checkout Kennedy Meadows in California. It's in the Sierra Nevada. Great trail riding and plenty of trails. Has everything ranging from easy to hard.
15:42 whatever settings you used. Looks phenomenal!! Didn’t even notice that bright into dark issue til you mentioned it. Didn’t even know that was a thing.
Just rode this trail last week. It is definitely beautiful but don't let the video fool you, it's slow and steep and difficult especially going this direction (up). I would recommend going the other direction, top to bottom.
Thanks! I use the Garmin 66i. It has the SOS satellite communication on it. My girlfriend insisted on that feature since I ride solo so often. Ride safe out there!
There is campgrounds in the area but you would need to ride on the highway to get to the trail. There is a small parking area at the trailhead but no room for a trailer.
Nice riding. Beautiful trail. Thanks for sharing.
You bet!
That's what ALL RIDERS should be thinking about.... Total respect Bud! 🤘🤘🤘👊
Thanks!

Put Colorado on your bucket list. You won’t regret it! Ride safe out there!
Nice... I tried this trail last year but only made it to where you are at 22:05 I wasn't comfortable solo and it was getting dark.
Yea not really a night time trail. But worth going back and riding to finish!

St. Charles is on my bucket list. Have you been on that one lately?
@@hannonenduro yup did it 3 time last summer. It def won’t be open till late May or even June. Fun trail and I have a couple videos of that one
AMAZING video!!!
Thanks!

I’ve been eyeballing that area for a while. I might get out there this summer I think.

Thanks! Just doing a little research make a big difference in video quality.
That was one hell of a clime. Whis you had shown how you went down.
I took Monarch Crest trail to get out of there. I did a video on that one also. It’s a beautiful ride!
Is this trail near Oura? i'm trying to find the return route, Monarch Crest trail.
@@mikeburnett6222 It’s at the top of Monarch Pass. Check out COTREX app and you can see all the trails up there.
Using the mirror to run the GoPro!👍 I've recorder nothing videos and missed the content.
Videos are great
Nothing more frustrating than not turning the camera on. I did a few rides that didn’t record audio too.
Haha, you can only find neutral when you don’t want it. I do it all the time.
Exactly!

Thanks for the tips!
Ok neat vid but I didn't think moto were allowed on that section of the CDT? That top part when you spoke about taking it to the road.
Just did a deep dive on CoTrex and saw that Monarch Crest trail to the summit does in fact allow moto.
Yup it’s a multi use trail.
Nice vid. Which GPS do you use? Do you like it?

Beautiful. My nephew just bought a home and 120 acres in that area. What trail app are you using?
I’m using the Colorado Trail Explorer app. It’s free and works really well. The link is on my channel if you are interested.
Are you sitting down through the whole trail?
Most of it, yup.
Is there a campground close by or someplace to park?

@@hannonenduro I am going to try and get a week in Taylor Park and hit this area in July.
Is trail permit required if you have road licensed dual sport?
If you have a plated bike then no OHV permit is required in CO.
@@hannonendurosorry but a OHV permit is required for this trail even with plates. I live in Buena Vista and do this trail about once a year.
