Great explanation with nothing left out. I would like to see the same again but using a braided mainline to the monofilament leader for a multiplier/OH reel. Also any additional tips regarding wind on leaders, for example the length you would recommend would be appreciated.
The bloopers at the end were very entertaining 😁

The biggest difficulty i have is with the Bimini. when i put my finger in it to pull it back it seems to take a lot of pressure to pull it back before i can start the wind . i literaly have cuts on my finger from pulling the loop back. once its going is no problem, but what am i doing wrong that makes it so difficult to pull back (open loop) . i do lubricate it well. Am talking at point 4:04 where you put ur finger in and pull back

Thanks for this. Can an FG knot be used to jon a thin (20lb) mono to a thicker (80Lb) mono. using the thin mono to wrap the leader like you would with braid. or FG doesnt work with mono to mono?

Out of curiosity: Why not an FG, isn't that slimmer (no doubled up mono, and you can tie an FG over a doubled up mainline too.)

    Looks a bit complicated.Dankie

I find the complicated knots to be the strongest, like the FG knot for instance. Practice it a couple of times and it becomes second nature

It does seem intimidating but actually it's not complicated at all once you get the hang of it. All you need is three hands and Bob's your uncle 😁
