I love when you show both planners on top of each other. I think I'm getting both after using the Cousin for 2024. One for portability and one for more space. Best of both worlds.
@@vonettadevo I'm so glad it was helpful! Thank you! I actually meant to say that I appreciate you pointing it out because I'd like to do it again in future videos 🙏
Im still new to hobos, I bought an A5 cousin for next year. Your daily layouts in both books are nice. I also bought 3x weeks as Im still deciding which ones I will use next year. Thanks for sharing.
Hello there 🤗 The cover for the A5 Cousin is the MD Notebook Paper Cover. The pen is the Sailor Pro Gear Slim Shikiori Dragon Palace (amzn.to/4gaiWay) Hope this helps!
I don't use a Hobo. I'm a one planner desk-sized 7-hole ring planner gal, but my printable inserts are very similar to the Hobo pages. Thank you for the inspiration!
I used the Weeks for a few years, then switched over to the A6 for the last couple years. I start off great and then by mid year, start slacking off. I feel like it’s just an awkward size. This year I procrastinated so much that it’s March and I haven’t even decided on a planner yet, so now considering an April start. Was also considering a travelers notebook, but I want the TR paper. So the Cousin is the two book option? I didn’t know it had a weekly section, that’s a great selling point for me, it’s what I like about the Weeks. But I don’t like the two book thing, I’d rather it was all one book. I supported myself as an artist, in local galleries and also stores in my area. I live where there is a big preserve/wilderness area, and found a sort of gift and craft type store where the owner only sold things made by local artisans. Everything from honey to pottery to art to furniture. It helped that I painted local wildlife and landmarks, and she sold a lot of paintings for me. On commission, of course.
Hello! Have you found the right planner? Cousin is just the name for the A5. The regular Cousin comes in one book while the Cousin Avec, the one I have, comes in a two-book version. One thing to be aware is that the TR has changed a bit this year. It was nice to read about how you've supported yourself as an artist!
@@geslinam9703 I'm glad you're enjoying the weekly and monthly spreads! I've been struggling with filling the daily pages this year myself, but I'm making peace with it :)
Ooh, wonderful! Feel free to let me know how you get on with the cousin (sounds like I'm talking about a real person 😂). I'm tempted to try a hon myself, maybe next year? The hon covers are so pretty 😍
It sounds like you've found something that works for you, and that's the most important ❤️ Is there a particular system that you would like to recommend to anyone reading these comments? In my case, I find that I really enjoy writing with my fountain pens so I don't mind some repetition. I also prefer having everything bound in one book rather than having a bunch of loose pages.

I'll keep that in mind for future videos 💕 Thank you for sharing what you're getting for next year too! That sounds like a great combo!!

Have you used the A5 cousin before? I hope you love your new hobos! Thank you for your comment, I'm glad you like the layouts 🥰
@@lunahowell No. I didn't own any so far. But I am loving the Hobonichi 2024 unboxing videos.
Wouldn’t it be perfect if they made an a6 with a weekly section?? I do get the a6 insert but it’s so small. I use the a6 and a weeks
Yes, I would really enjoy that! Ah, A6 and weeks sounds like a good combo 💖
Isn’t the day free like a weeks?
I would love to see more videos from you, thanks for making them!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
May I ask where you got your cover and what kind of pen you are using in this video? Thank you!

New to them, do they have the decorative markings inside or did you add all of them in yours? Thanks!
They come with a basic template which I then decorated. I can show what it looks like without any of the decorations in a future video!
@lunahowell Good for you. As for me I don't like deco, I was interested to know if I had the option to not add them. Thanks
I started with weeks I love it this year I have weeks and a cousin! Excited about cousin… next will be hon I think 🤔

Aww! How are you feeling about it now? I'm missing the A6 size but I'm going to stick with the A5 for 2024.

good point!
"they have a cult following" 💀
Other time management, goal, recording systems are better. This has too much rewriting. Using loose leaf pages is better.

When are loose, flying papers ever the better option? 😂 You’re bound to lose them and misplace them, pun intended 😅
