I agree, honestly, the first thing I think I'm going to change is the switches, not that these are bad, - same with the stabs, they sound really great, but I'm still going going to look at the stabs and maybe order some more, if they are PCB mount. What would you like to see for mods?
@@ShaharGaming the switches are already factory lubed, and I honestly don't recommend the tape mod over time. I do understand that it helps as a low pass filter, but honestly the foam and the silicone do the same thing and are superior at doing so! I'd rather put higher quality switches in if I were to go through the several hour process of lubing them! That being said, I'll think about your suggestions, and see what else I can do to make it a nicer, lower thock, because I do agree. It could be a lot thockier.
I will see about it. I have it bookmarked. I don't usually go for alice style, but I'll let you know if / when I get to it. it'll be a couple months minimum, as I've got other videos I'm doing first
You need to download and use VIA. It should work with VIA right out the box, but you may have to flash it if it doesn't appear after unplugging it and plugging it back in. I have a tutorial on how to flash your keyboard using QMK (it should already be flashed) and VIA.
@@hridoyridoy epomaker.com/blogs/via-json/ajazz-aks068-pro-usb-json-file?_pos=3&_sid=c7e997153&_ss=r This is the JSON file you need to load into VIA once you enable layout mode in settings tab. Once that is loaded, unplug your keyboard, and plug it back in or toggle it from usb to 2.4 and back. Once it starts lighting up, press and hold the S key. This allows the firmware to be accessible to the computer. From there the via screen should refresh. It might take some trying several times, but it should show up when you get the hang of it. Just did It on my computer.
step 1 Download VIA 3.0 step 2 open via and enable layout mode step 3 load the above json file, and toggle the switch enable reading 2.0 definitions step 4 turn on / plug in keyboard. once it starts to light up, press S key and hold. It should show up now on far left tab. make sure you save the layout when you're done, but you should be able to keep whatever changes you make on the fly. I just tested it, it's a little convoluted, but works.
Needed to know if I just poke through that foam paper. A bunch of videos did not show that at all. Thanks for posting process video.
Anytime! Glad I helped
I think it's a really good keyboard! With mods it will sound really good.

I personally didnt mod it but what I would recommend to try is tape mod and lubing. It will probably make the keyboard thock more!

I used a tape mod on a cheap AliExpress keyboard and it really helped and you have great idea 💡😁
@@ShaharGaming I put some hmx canglan switches in mine and it sounds and feels incredible
I'm mixed between this and the ABM066 kit. Can you try that one out?
