Exactly how I felt when I heard Tasha's sexy voice!!! Seeing the firefighters, I thought Tasha would be one hell of a sexy firefighter and the goddess granted me! Eileen knew how to choose her charismatic actresses and Kate M. is a damn good director! Excellent review of this episode, the only one I watched several times (Tasha's part of course)
Are you like me feeling no time had passed since Alice & Tasha first met & had those passionate arguments? Wow, they have some strong chemistry! This one minute of dialogue was so energizing!!Where has this magic been on GenQ?
@@lesliephillips3980 Yes, I think as much as seeing the meetings, the interventions together (I remember the episode where they decide to go check Lara at the restaurant because Dana doesn't have the gaydar! OMG that was funny, see them get out of the car like in an action movie etc.) and then the dialogues, the much deeper subjects and the support between them. I also remember when Dana's ghost told her not to let Tasha (at war) go without saying goodbye. I was certain to see Tasha again because of hints from Dana, she is the one. Even though Tasha and Alice are completely different in a lot of ways, their chemistry is huge and the love real. And they are also very hot together :)
@@Yanoozen Yes, that undercover mission to check out Lara was SO funny. And in the end, they couldn’t tell bc of the contradictions 😂 Lara had to tell Dana in the locker room. So funny!! I do miss those fun outings.

It is NOT funny. Can’t wait to see Amanda’s reaction to this one. It’s on UA-cam (best bc you can see their faces) but is also on Spotify. The Title is something like “GenQ Show Runner Answers Fan Frustrations”. But she doesn’t! All she does is contradict herself, pat herself on the back & evade the hard questions. She couldn’t sit still and was chugging coffee and a sports drink the whole time. My impression was that she was on something and it wasn’t caffeine 😂

I thought the proposal was too calm. Who is that calm during a proposal? It was like they were still talking about where to go to dinner nonchalantly. Actually there was more emotion when they were actually talking about dinner with Angie still there 😅

Well, to be fair, this is their third marriage if you think about it. On the OG they had been together for 7-8 years when it started (marriage wasn’t legal then). Then they broke up & got back together a couple of times during the show, which ran for several years. At end of the show they were back together, happy & talking marriage as they were planning to move away for Tina’s job. At the beginning of GenQ we learn that they had married, but are now divorced.
During all of this, of course, they have been co-parents to Angie.
So, with all of their history taken into account, I think this was a sweet way for this to happen. Bette had planned to ask Tina at dinner w/Angie & Shane present, but that got blown up by the professor storyline.
Am I incorrect here? Shane is the one funding these ventures, isn’t she? Or did I miss a detail? So yeah, she decides. Lol. 🤷🏽♀️
Also…if bringing OG characters back is what’s going to work, they should go with it. If the Gen Q characters aren’t giving them the numbers, they should take a back seat, honestly. It was a great idea, but the aim is to keep your viewers.
