That concert was back in 1999. That year the mexican government was trying to end the free education system that had existed since the mexican revolution. Many of the kids present at that concert were resisting the government and fighting to preserve free education. You can see the anger after long months of the corporate media trying to discourage them with lies and propaganda. Today public university is still free. Thanks to their struggle, i could get my BA in history at 50 years old, for i couldn't attend college when i was younger. Still i got my education and payed nothing for it. Thank you UNAM students. And thanks to RATM for that concert in those days of struggle.

This is what the politics of multi-culti, stress-free education, secularization of society, "hate speech", political correctness was there for, so that we would become a herd of meek rams and they could easily rule us. I think music like this, music of rebellion, protest songs, will be having its renaissance soon. Hopefully, because I am too old, I can only encourage young people, but the rest is up to them. We can teach, they must act.
