I wouldn't say biggest in film history lol. It was honestly anticlimactic. Like the film had just lied to us and stressed us out for no reason. I was just annoyed by it. But to each their own
Actually, the final battle was a pleasant surprise for those, who read the book, as there it’s just… nothing. Alice shows Aro the future, which we are told about in a couple of sentences, and they go their separate ways. At least the film showed the vision to us. But I can understand that for the ones who only watched the movie this battle and its resolution was a bummer.
Tbh, the book not only had plot of both movies, we had some conflict with the wolves already. And Bella's training and meeting all the vampires was still really cool, also she had opportunity to counter Alec's power, which was also visually epic. Surely the fight hasn't happened in the books but - personally, whole situation was still pretty high tension and sick. One of the better moments Meyers have written in the saga.
The whole battle scene and the reveal afterwards caused an uproar in the movies - I still remember how the girl sitting next to me screamed at the whole cinema "are you f*cking kidding me?!" after we realized it was just a vision :D And regarding the Jacob/Renesmee situation it was better explained in the books (they tried in the movies but I think it flew over many people's heads) - imprinting is not inheritely romantic (even though it usually leads there), after imprinting on Renesmee Jacob's whole existence was reduced to what she needs of him. He will be anything she needs him to be - a brother, a friend, a protector - and if she one day falls in love with him, so will he, because he has no choice in that. So basicaly Renesmee is the one holding the proverbial "leash" and he has no free will over his own feelings. Is it fucked up? Yes, but differently than it looks at the first sight.

22:45 So Marcus was actually married to Aro's sister who had power to make others feel happy. They decided to leave Volturi at some point. Aro didn't like that, so he ended his own sister, because Marcus ability to see human relations was vital for Volturi (they can see who is an enemy and who is more ready to betray their friends to join Volturi). Since then Marcus has been a prisoner in Volterra, being sedated by a power of other Volturi members, miserable for millenia as his mate was already dead. That's why he was happy to die there.
Here's something super sweet: Mayanna Buring (Tanya) said in an interview that her favorite memory from set was on the first day of filming, when Michael Sheen (Aro) held her hands.
I watched this in the cinema and that twist made every single person wonder what the hell was going on, especially the ones who had read the book as it wasn’t in there at all
You have to see the original version of Renesmee to understand the reason why they turned to CGI. To give you a heads-up it's an animatronic that was nicknamed Chuckesmee by the cast and crew Also I love the fact that there was just a point in which Twilight turned into an X-Men film and honestly still better than X-Men Origins Wolverine
The 3rd leader of the volturi which accepted his death was in love with Aro's sister. But she was smh killed off by Aro for not having a great gift so he lived all those centuries waiting for his death according to the books which never happened
Yes. He has been miserable and hated the volturi bc his love was killed. But Aro wouldn't let him leave because his gift was too important. His gift was able to see who was loyal to the volturi and make sure the powerful ones stay on their side. His gift is relationship Identification so he can see who is in love, who is disloyal, who had bad intentions, etc. I think he was also happy to see their downfall so he said finally. Edit: he wasn't able to leave because of another vampire who can manipulate relationships. So instead of just identifying, she can actually make others feel manipulated and make them feel loyal

I can't even begin to explain the atmosphere in the cinema when the battle was revealed to be a vision. Like, I don't even think Infinity War's snap sequence had this big a reaction in my experience. To put it simply, Jacob doesn't have any feelings towards Renesmee that aren't strictly platonic. He's more like a big brother to her. That can change later when she grows up depending on how she feels, but he won't be attracted to her unless she wants him to be.
If that were true, why did he basically admit to Bella after she found that he had imprinted on Renesmee that those “love” feelings that he had for Bella just several days before, were actually about Renesmee? Also, when Alice had her vision of Renesmee as an 18 year old…..she was literally with Jacob in that vision, and right after it….Jacob literally asks if he should start calling Edward dad. If Jacob was meant to be a god father or god brother….Stephanie should’ve made that clear.
don't know if you noticed but Marcus Volturi (the one who said 'finally' in Alice's vision) was the grumpy scientist with the glasses in the first episode of The Last of Us
Ahh, to relive that battle scene. Everyone, including me, screaming when Carlisle dying. Good play… I definitely didn’t expect it, it was a welcome change though.
The Twilight reactions were the first videos I watched on this channel. Seb is hands down the best reactor to this film. Also, took a lot of balls to say 20:53
The reason for the cgi baby was that Renesmee was supposed to be a baby but with better understanding of the things around her. Like she's supposed to recognize who's who. Listens while others are talking and understand them. Doesn't cry or seem distracted by everything like most babies do. The option that the prod team have is animatronics (which turned out to be a disaster according to the cast) or cgi (which also turned out to be a disaster but they went along with it anyway.)
Seb, you should watch Vampires Suck. It's the Scary Movie-style parody of these movies and it's pretty great while these movies are fresh in your memory
The battle scene is actually so incredible because growing with our fav vampires and werewolves getting k/lled got us fck up- and ofc we were so happy to see that it was a vision (I haven’t read the book so I wasn’t aware of Alice showing her visions). That was iconic

The reason why the kid is CGI in the first half is because they casted the 10 year-old Mackenzie Foy in the role but for the first half of this movie they use other younger girls and digitally put Mackenzie's on their faces.
In the BTS the director said they made the babies/kids leading up to the main actress who plays renesmee to have a cgi face so that it looks like the main actress “from the start”
That "Finally from the older Vampire was, because a long time ago, Aro killed his wife. So he suffered years of sadness and now can be finally together with her
So “Renesmee” is played by actress Mackenzie Foy, and ironically enough….towards the end of the movie when Alice has a vision of Renesmee as an 18 year old and how she looks…..Mackenzie Foy is currently in her early 20’s, and looks exactly like how she looked in Alice’s vision which is crazy because Alice’s vision is of the future.
23:21 was the reaction I was expecting from u and it actually happen as I expected 🤣. Also can you please consider to start watching Fast and Furious franchise? Love u and keep up the good work
Right this is the answer to what imprinting mean so basically imprinting is basically whoever the Wolf's inprint chooses is basically the Wolf's soulmate so meaning that when Jacob's inprint chose bella's daughter which means that she is Jacob's soulmate now it may sound odd but basically jacob will be with renesmee when she's older and right age with Jacob so there's the answer of imprinting
Marcus the one that says “finally” actually had been wanting to die because Arlo had like 2 of his soulmates killed and made on fall in love with himself since she had a “ special gift” because Marcus wanted to leave each time he found them….. also he tried to off himself a dozen of times due to heartbreak but Arlo always brought him back
The guy that said finally didn't wanna live anymore - apparently he was in love with Aros (the main Volturis) sister, but because he didn't care for ruling when he was with her, Aro had his sister killed, and Marcus (the 'finally' guy) might have killed himself if one of the Volturi didn't have a special power that motivates and bonds a person to someone else, using this on him to bind him to Aro.
In the books that big battle scene never happened... they just kinda talked a lot and then left. Which would make for a pretty shit movie lmao Saw this in theatres.. since that scene never happened in the books, people were FREAKING OUT. No one knew what was happening, girls were literally screaming, it was chaos lmao
It's an odd moment that I've never really warmed to but it was Alice and Jasper that made the order for the fake IDs and whatever. I think you mistook Jasper for Jacob he wasn't planning on taking Renesmee off to a new life or anything 🤣. It was empathising that Bella and Edward wouldn't be running away with them is all.
"What do you mean finally?" Apparently that vampire has a very useful power for the Volturi, and he fell in love with Aro's sister whose power was to make people feel happy. But he was so in love and so happy that he wanted to leave the Volturi with her and lead a peaceful life. So Aro killed his own sister (her power wasn't useful to him anyway), and that guy, who lost the reason for his happiness, had to stay alive and be part of the Volturi due to another member whose power was to "chain" people to them. That's why even those who've had their clans destroyed by the Volturi still stay and obey.
It's been over a decade since I read the books, but if I remember correctly, the big fight scene didn't happen in the book. In the theater we were all so confused 😅 You should watch Divergent!
I mean it took me awhile to get it, Jacob just wanted to protect her daughter, it wasn’t anything more than that, just act as a protective force against anyone who would try to hurt her for any reason. Not because he’s in love with her lol
Well if that was the case, why in the end of the movie when Alice had her vision and it showed Renesmee as an 18 year old, with Jacob….Jacob then proceeded to ask Edward if he should call him dad at that point? Why didn’t Stephanie just make it clear 100% that Jacob would be like Renesmee’s god father or something? Jacob also admitted when Bella found out about the imprinting that it was never her, that he had loved and basically imprinted on Renesmee before she was even born. Don’t be naive and foolish…..
They did use an actual girl for alot of the scenes. It was a budget thing. They spent too much money on the animated baby before they decided its too creepy so went to cgi for the baby and a couple scenes for the older girl but again they did use an actual human girl for most of those scenes lol
I think you mixed up Jacob and Jasper…Jacob had no connection to the passports and fake IDs. Although actually, in the books Jasper didn’t even know. Alice only left Bella the name, “J. Jenks”. Bella had to figure out what he did (fake documents) on her own, and she made the call to get identification for Jacob and Renesmee. Only Bella had that info so that there was no risk of Aro learning how to find Renesmee.
In Alice’s future vision they put Mackenzie’s head assuming via CGI on the actress who played the 18 year old version. When she was a kid though it was 100% Mackenzie.

The reason for the cgi baby was that Renesmee was supposed to be a baby but with better understanding of the things around her. Like she's supposed to recognize who's who. Listens while others are talking and understand them. Doesn't cry or seem distracted by everything like most babies do. The option that the prod team have is animatronics (which turned out to be a disaster according to the cast) or cgi (which also turned out to be a disaster but they went along with it anyway.)
it was by far the lesser of two evils. Chuckesmee was creepy
the vision part made the whole movie
Seb, you should watch Vampires Suck. It's the Scary Movie-style parody of these movies and it's pretty great while these movies are fresh in your memory
The battle scene is actually so incredible because growing with our fav vampires and werewolves getting k/lled got us fck up- and ofc we were so happy to see that it was a vision (I haven’t read the book so I wasn’t aware of Alice showing her visions). That was iconic
People act like it’s a cop out to make it just a vision but they were able to do things that were kind of cool due to it
Was that Au Sauvage? the scent of choice in Discos down on the lower esplanade in Melbourne Australia in the late 70's... jeez it really is my childhood today
You should watch yes man it's a film about "Carl Allen (Jim Carrey) is stuck in a rut with his negative ways. Then he goes to a self-help seminar and learns to unleash the power of yes. Living in the affirmative leads him to all sorts of amazing and transforming experiences; he gets a job promotion, and even finds a new romance. But Carl finds that too much of anything, even positive thinking, is not necessarily a good thing "
remember when Seb used to tear up a bit watching movies?? our seb has grown... can't believe the CGi abomination did not make him wanna cry
Yeah, it's heavily implied that the wolf thing turns in what it means as the partner ages - eventually becoming romantic, which is just kinda weird.
I got the end spoiled for me the day i went to see it, by my sister! Because someone told her and she didn't want to be alone in knowing. So upset😭 so I love watching peoples reactions to live vicariously through them😂
I was literally just binging your reaction to it again waiting for the last update😩😂
Bella’s ring was Edward’s mother’s ring, I think it was called cobweb diamonds. It’s from the late 1800s I believe.
I remember it was a hugeeeee pop culture topic as to who was going to play renesmee! And when they cast mckenzie foy it was huge
Underworld series it is a vampire wearwolf series but it's actually really good
😂😂😂😂i love your reaction to the ending... its how i expected you to react lol.
Hello Seb, i'm french and even if i dont understand everything, i really love your reactions, you're my favorite UA-camur "first time watching" !
Hope one day you'll watch : Hancock / Hacksaw Ridge / Planet of the apes trilogy
bye
Now I can say this the for the official record:
Jacob and the pack were never werewolves. They're shapeshifters.
The MAYHEM in the theater though, absolute madness
You know who's my favorite character is?, Bella's dad, I sympathize with him, he's so confused. 🤣
U wont belive but I saw all of your Twilight reactions today and I was wondering when we'll see the last part on your channel. I wished for it and I got it. 😂
The reason why the kid is CGI in the first half is because they casted the 10 year-old Mackenzie Foy in the role but for the first half of this movie they use other younger girls and digitally put Mackenzie's on their faces.
He explained the bond in the vision when the imprint happened. Until Bella’s daughter was fully grown he would act as a protector / guardian
Please please look up the first version of the fake baby. It was a puppet. And, believe it or not, it was SO much worse. Truly horrifying. 😂😂😂
Watching you get cheated out of that end was so worth the wait :) LMAO
I agree, Seb...I'd rather be a hybrid because Sour Patch Kids are AWESOME
In the BTS the director said they made the babies/kids leading up to the main actress who plays renesmee to have a cgi face so that it looks like the main actress “from the start”
This reaction is everything i’ve needed 🤣 sooo satisfying lmao
That "Finally from the older Vampire was, because a long time ago, Aro killed his wife. So he suffered years of sadness and now can be finally together with her
So “Renesmee” is played by actress Mackenzie Foy, and ironically enough….towards the end of the movie when Alice has a vision of Renesmee as an 18 year old and how she looks…..Mackenzie Foy is currently in her early 20’s, and looks exactly like how she looked in Alice’s vision which is crazy because Alice’s vision is of the future.
I made my roommate watch all five movies in one day last week and she ended up loving them at the end after hating on them for ten years lol
It was empathising that Bella and Edward wouldn't be running away with them is all.
bro that "just past midnight" got me dead 😂
Seb…. U AND I had the SAME reaction when it wasnt a real fight😂😭
i've seen renesme's actress in another movie when she was still that age and she looked exactly like that so I'm pretty sure it's not cgi
The battle wasn’t in the book, I’ve never fully recovered after this day 😂
i been WAITING for this
"What do you mean finally?"
Apparently that vampire has a very useful power for the Volturi, and he fell in love with Aro's sister whose power was to make people feel happy. That's why even those who've had their clans destroyed by the Volturi still stay and obey.
i remember when they had twilight saga dawn 2 on bk cup back in 2012 i still rem
16:00 Carlisle is actually more wealthy than Tony Stark.
It's been over a decade since I read the books, but if I remember correctly, the big fight scene didn't happen in the book. In the theater we were all so confused 😅
You should watch Divergent!
Watch the pitch meeting for breaking Dawn. Sums it up perfectly
React to The Whale. I know this movie is not the typical genre for this channel, but i think you shouldn't miss out on that masterpiece of a movie.
Usually with dogs and wolves they "imprint" on someone or their own kind for life and have an attachment
No shot he said his TEETH will grow from watching too much twilight
You should really react to Meet the Spartans (300 parody), because that movie is so funny.
As fa as I know, Renesmee is only CGI as a baby. As soon as she's older, she's played by a real child actress named Mackenzie Foy.
In Alice’s future vision they put Mackenzie’s head assuming via CGI on the actress who played the 18 year old version. When she was a kid though it was 100% Mackenzie.
Such a great franchise!
Underworld would be a good franchise to watch 🤞🏼
Finally 😊long time from part1
Don't forget Twilight Saga Pitch Meeting Compilation! Watch it 😂😂😂
You should whatch the parody movie of Twilight, "Vampires Suck" it's great xD
people climbing to scycrapers without any protections all the time...
