Well Scarlett could've said the truth to Mick about Jabitch's involvement in Linda’s car crash way before Jabitch's pregnancy and if she did Mick would've dumped her and reunited with Linda and most importantly he'd still be alive. So, yeah Scarlett is partly responsible for Mick's fate.

Poor Scarlett is going suffer for quite some time. Not only has she lost her mum (who she had only recently reunited with after being in foster care for god knows how long), she’s also lost the closest thing that she’s ever had to a father. And people blaming her, she’s 10! She was terrified about what might happen if she was to speak up (and rightly so!) You cannot blame the accident on her. Janine and Linda were both equally responsible. Janine for stealing Sonia’s car and driving off in it, and Linda for grabbing hold of the steering wheel which caused Janine to loose control. Scarlett didn’t deserve to loose her entire family because of what her mum did.

To be fair to them, they've been friends with Shirley for a long time and they hated Jabitch especially Jean who suffered because of Jabitch's vandetta against Stacey back in 2010 and 2011, and Scarlett reminds them of Jabitch and what she put Shirley through.

For Scarlett (as young as she might be she’s a smart girl) to turn up at the doorstep of a ‘grieving’ mother who she knew wouldn’t be best-pleased to see her wasn’t a good move. I’m sure she’ll end up with Ricky but first thing socials would do is intervene with the child who has been left without parents in such circumstances and make sure shes being left with the right guardians. Especially since she is already under child protection, Janine has only just got Scarlett back, she was living with kat and her brother, even then socials were debating if that’s the best thing for her and she was with her sibling. So I’m sure they would need to intervene somewhere here.

It's hardly an abuse 🙄 Shirley's reaction is natural and in-character for her since she hates Jabitch and warned Mick about her many times, and she hardly knows Scarlett who happens to be the daughter of Jabitch, and now she's lost her son because of that cow's schemes and she's found out that Scarlett knew about the accident all along and didn't say anything so it's an expected reaction from Shirley. Not everything needs to be rosy and shiny in soaps.

I’m sure she’ll end up with Ricky but first thing socials would do is intervene with the child who has been left without parents in such circumstances and make sure shes being left with the right guardians. Especially since she is already under child protection, Janine has only just got Scarlett back, she was living with kat and her brother, even then socials were debating if that’s the best thing for her and she was with her sibling. So I’m sure they would need to intervene somewhere here.

Shirley's reaction is natural and in-character for her since she hates Jabitch and warned Mick about her many times, and she hardly knows Scarlett who happens to be the daughter of Jabitch, and now she's lost her son because of that cow's schemes and she's found out that Scarlett knew about the accident all along and didn't say anything so it's an expected reaction from Shirley.
