Linda Henry is an intensely private and reserved person in real life so there’s a chance she just wanted to leave quietly and without much fuss or noise (like Eileen Derbyshire/Emily off Corrie). I do suspect she’ll be back before the year’s out but for now she’s out of contract. She usually has annual break for a few months most years anyway.

Hev was an absolutely legendary character, pure comedy which is what this show needs sometimes to cut through all the angst! Seeing her in her little headband was so heart warming, I wouldn’t be mad if they found a way to write her back in😭
Heather could come back via a hallucination, but it might need to be voice only, as Cheryl Ferguson looks different now and has lost weight.

Pat and Shirley scrapping over who was the best mother when neither of them were to their own kids 😂 they both redeemed themselves in later life but neither had room at that time to be pointing the finger at each other.
