- Hey everyone! Just thought I might show you what kind of stuff I've been working on and make a tutorial on how to do it :)

really good video, your workflow is really unique i never would have thought of designing a shitty bass then post processing then going BACK and making it sound good, genius tbh

Also learned this the the other day but HOL! also really like to softclip his basses but with sub attached(either use the sub from the patch itself or layer with a seperate sub bass). I recommend later on high passing and adding in a seperate sub bass as the sub that gets clipped with the bass patch tends to lose some of its punch.
It took me four days to find a video to make this sound. You are the chosen one XD subbed

Great video! Might I suggest adding some CRAZY Sub movement with pitch sliding, usually makes for a really flowy drop. I believe guys like Hukae and Dyatic (even though they have different styles) love going crazy on the sub movement and imo can give a really cool product

If you're recording with OBS you can add noise suppression to your microphone.
Just a little tip for the background noise!

new bass onomatopoeia just dropped "weepee woopee"
Added some low cut to the sub bass and it rocked my speakers, ended up copying the same step again with ICanHasKick and made some nasty bass

fun little tip: if you're finding your vocoder makes the high end way too brittle or muffled then you use the dry/wet knob so some of the clean high end can come back in.

You could also route the Sub with the top bass into a Bus to distort them together there, rather then crunching the entire mix

no they do not, serum uses fxp files while vital has their own file type called .vital

yeah can attest Jiqui makes a lot of basses and does a shit ton of post processing and automation in audio. Sometimes he doesnt even make the shit he's just using hella samples

No sadly XD
This stuff translates to ableton fine, all you need is serum and all the plugins he used. Try out FL demo and you can pick up some knowledge thru that to learn how to translate it. Good to know a few daws if you plan on doing this for a living. You don't have to but at least being able to translate between them is important.
I heard there’s this artist that goes by grunglio that is going to do breakdowns soon on their tunes, and I’m pretty sure they use ableton
