In the end credits scene of stampede, roger told his crewmates that they have arrived raftel too early. This is perhaps the tease oda is referring to. It is mostly likely because the ancient weapons are not ready yet (like shirahoshi is not born yet).
So they couldn't take down the red line cuz she wasn't there to take the fishmen to the surface. Broooo

Once this series wraps up, there will be classes taught on the various themes, stories, and messages that Oda wove together with such brilliance, and hopefully it will inspire generations for years to come and ultimately inspire people to be more like Luffy (and Shanks). Great review.

I think the vivre card for Luffy already triggered. If you recall Aces one was already burning while he was imprisoned in Impel Down. I think the same happen for Luffy's after he lost to Kaido and got imprisoned in Udon. Just a thought how the grand fleet could come to Wano.

Hell we haven't seen full results of zoro and sanji's training yet, zoro vs hawk eye maybe or whoever beats hawk eye, luffy shanks conclusion, akainu vs luffy/sabo, Blackbeard vs luffy, all crew members fulfilling their dreams, coby becoming admiral, i don't think oda can finish the islands and these conclusions. These are on the top of my head but there are still a lot more things. We need at least 300 chapters to cover all of this

Zou definitely was an information bomb arc.. But it still took 20-ish chapters to pace it through.
But I am only saying many plot lines to cover... Especially all the strawhats and other related or similar gimmicks.
One Piece has been expanded too much. And it would be bad to see it all rushed in the end. Development and conclusions take time. It's not about the information... but how it plays out with a story.
And I agree... I too hope Oda doesn't rush it all up. One Piece is Life.

Yeah... Too much on plate. And I love it. Oda doesn't leave much loose ends. He connects things one way or another. He definitely is the king of foreshadowings and connections. His World Building is unparalleled in recent times. And I also think... Some 300-ish atleast chaps to come.
Considering Wano still has an epic battle left and a year can only provide 45-52 ish chapters.
I hope Oda doesn't compress or rush in the end.

Exactly. Besides it was only a year or two ago that word was going around that they were planning for One Piece’s 30th anniversary in 2027. One Piece will end at the earliest around 2027-2030 is my guess.

I just wanted to "correct" on something you said Sawyer. We assume that luffy will be the one that will destroy the red line.. But the literal wording is someone with a strawhat... And given that there is a strawhat in mariejois I thing would be someone else
Considering Kaido and Big Mom both shook off Gear 4th punches like they were having a pillow fight the only ppl in Wano that should be able to damage those 2 are Luffy after the training and Kid who should be training as well toward the same goal so the most realistic option is Luffy v Kaido and Kid v Big Mom bcuz no one else there can even hurt either of them based on what happened with Gear 4 being nothing to them
I think Zoro can damage them also. No way in hell a stronger 9 sword style cant even scratch them it wouldnt make sense. But i also believe its gonna be Kid (with help obviously) vs mom and luffy(also with help) vs kaido

I honestly think that the One Piece is in the hands of the World Nobles, like, what else is that stone straw hat? I think Roger carved that one out and acted like he left some amazing treassure.
oda is a genius at making people continue reading his work. im pretty sure hes just giving a time span so it keeps the fans wanting to hold on for a little longer. bc i wouldnt be as interested in the story if it takes 20 more years to finish, i could be dead for all i know

1: oden( his past, how did he need roger, how powerful was he, his descendants and how was wano before kaido came in )
2: kaido. ( where he came from, what made him want to kill himself, what make him hard to die, was his deceit fruit made by vegapunk or not ?
3: those people who wrote the scriptures( polyneglif ) on these stones . Does wano has a connection with raftel?
4: what is shanks true identity, his power , what was that meeting with the 5 elders about ?
5: the reverie, what happen there ? How did the battle end? The revolutionary status as off right now
6: monkey D dragon, his past , power, what made him recruited the army . Was he a marine before ? Will dragon die? Who will be his opponent? Why akainu hate dragon so much, did dragon beat him before ?
7: the void century , what happened? The five elders’s power, where they came from ?
8: raftel ; flashback of it , how it was before .
9: roger himself . His past , power , how did he manage to be to king ?
10: who will be the new yonkos ? Will there be any yonko system ? Will there be a world government? who will fight the five elders . Will one or two of luffy crew will die ? What will happen to big mom or kaido after defeat? Who will fight Blackbeard ? Will Blackbeard died ? His crew ?
Yeah, more like 10 more years . Even if we don’t really get full disclosure, but we need some questions to be answered to make ONE PIECE the manga / anime KING for life .

I do see Blackbeard defeating Luffy the first time around. Blackbeard is more than the powers he obtains for himself. He is cunning and able to hurt someone like Shanks without a DF in the past. Luffy needs to mature more and not fight Blackbeard with just rage and the tactics he uses currently. Sanji is the only Strawhat that anticipates opponents always having another angle and is a very good tactician.

It seems everyone forgot that Luffy said he'll kick Big Mom's ass ALL OVER THE NEW WORLD. So she's definitely not fall in Wano.... She'll chase Luffy even more before getting finally defeated.
My bet ever since Big Mom showed up at Wano was that all Yonkous will be there, it makes more sense plot wise, meaning that Shanks and Blackbeard will eventually show up.
As I see things happening: Kaidou + Big Mom vs Shanks and luffy and Blackbeard being the wildcard and last one to show, finishing off one of the three or all three of them, last being Shanks in order to protect Luffy's escape. This way the story will advance at a faster pace and it makes more sense now that Oda wants to finish the story within the next 5 years (we will not include 2019, most likely 2025 being the last year). There are many other things to show, the last ancient weapon, One piece and it's consequences, the war between Luffy + company vs Blackbeard and Luffy + comp. vs the WG + Marines and a mini arc showing the results of Luffy's journey + maybe the straw hat being handed over to someone else (if the theory is correct, maybe Shanks's show).
Hell, I will even bet anyone money on the fact that all 5 yonkous will fight in Wano at some point, maybe even the marines will intervene, it's a really good chance to show off the 2 new admirals.

Madam Shirley Said she saw a human with a strawhat on, and that he is going destroy fishmen island. She automatically thought it would be no other than luffy. But I don’t think it’s luffy who’s gonna be responsible since we watched Imu with a giant strawhat.
I kinda see it ending in 5 yrs, I think wano arc will take 1-1.5 yrs to wrap up, kaido and big mom will fall in this arc. Then that leaves us with 3.5 yrs left. Elbaf is def gonna be small arc like zou, it will reveal the secrets of raftel and how to get there. By this time, luffy only need the last road poneglyph, which he may acquire by the end of elbaf arc. Then oda has 3 yrs left for his last one big giant story arc. Which is when luffy gets to raftel and beat BB pirates then becoming the pirate king and the war against the gov will take place after. 3 years is enough for all that.

Jir Kawa nah oda doesnt have any more story to tell, he moved all the chess pieces to its positions, the things he just need to do are to tell us what the 100 void century and the story of the amcient people and the will of D are. That only require several chapters of flashback. Kaido and big mom will be out the picture after wano arc. That only leave the gov, shanks and BB pirates, 3 yrs for that is enough imo.

To be fair, its not like Whitebeard did not listen to Shanks. Whitebeard himself told Ace to let that one pass, but Ace was against it and left on his own. Since then, Whitebeard took on himself the responsability of it, as if he had ordered Ace to hunt down Blackbeard, to take out any kind of blame Ace could be carring for desobeying him. So when they talked, all Whitebeard could do was reaffirm his position, as if he really had ordered Ace to go.
The Sunny took a lot of Damage in Wholecake and I'm sure before Wano ends we will get Franky's reaction to it as well as him fixing it and it needs a new flag. This would be the perfect time to get a indestructible flag, like the one Bellamy is making.

10:40 = "If it's One-On-One, Kaidou will win" I think he's considered a Elite Level Field Boss with a bunch of Giant Demon monsters which are treated as Field Mini-Bosses and Queen and King are considered Elite Boss monsters and everyone else might just be Mini-Bosses.
So I have a theory on Imu that probably many folks have but I still want to share: I think Imu is immortal aka the last person the Eternal Youth Surgery of the Ope Ope no Mi was used on. He can, therefore, use Mariejois' national treasure which requires the user to be immortal, maybe because it allows them to create/influence the very fabric of the world of One Piece aka changing reality. And any threat that grows too powerful (Luffy, Blackbeard) can be eliminated by Imu through the use of the treasure somehow. Mind you, Imu was last seen holding Vivi's poster and now her family is involved in a dramatic incident.
I Think what Oda could do is getting Blackbeard to Wano and assist Luffy in the battle against Big Mom + Kaido...
Sounds strange right? but this will be the best scenario to show how much Luffy has been grown

If I remember correctly, Vivre card is made from the nails of the person. So isn't it possible that at some point the Beast Pirates captured a Mink and just cut off some nails and made a vivre card. This is how Jack was able to locate Juneisha.

just to make it clear... 17:00 Luffy never wanted to fight the world government, he only declared war before cause they were trying to harm Robin and then Ace. He never said "i wanna take down the established law and order" or anything like this even tho they hunted him over and over.

The major incident in my mind will be similar to the 3d2y message before timeskip. As in the strawhats all get separated but reunite.
Near the finale of whatever battle/war, the strawhat fleet needs to assemble but i feel with a main strawhat leading certain crews. Example being usopp being sent to elbaf and leading the giant pirates with hajrudin.

Another important thing is when is Zorro gonna get the blade - before or after Kaido is defeated. Because it could be after. Because narratively it could be a reward for him for beating King.
Zoro will slay the dragon in the sky aka Kaido.. all the foreshadowing points to this, he will avenge his ancestors and Luffy will keep his word to Katakuri by defeating Big Mom.. 2 Yonkos will fall in Wano.

One Piece is going to have 120 volumes once it's done, two parts of 60. 26 volumes remain, each usually contains 10 or 11 chapters, that means 260-270 chapters remain until the end. Oda makes around 39 chapters every year so it will take around 7 years to finish. That's how long One Piece is going to last. 270 chapters is a LOT, there arent't many islands and arcs left, it't totally plausible for Oda to conclude without rushing anything.
