What would make this perfect: an "Animal Mode" where you don't play a human diver, you play a dolphin. Or a shark. Or an orca.
The newest Pokemon was so buffed when they added the feature to roam as a Pokemon in the DLC

So this is a diving simulator
It's not just a diving simulator, but it will also have a story and lots of things to do, including puzzles, treasure hunts, missions of all kinds (including horror), and even boss fights.
Hopefully they added some kind of Easter egg treasure hunting aspect, alongside of the exploration.

I’ve seen a fish doing a weird thing or two in these trailers. Gonna wait for the reviews on this one, and see if it’s actually finished on release, unlike many of Nintendo’s games this generation.

Same here. This generation of games have been an utter letdown. Publishing studios think they can just turn out games in quick succession and turn a profit. That's not going to be a viable long-term market strategy for long. Consumers are getting sick of unfinished D tier games.
