I've playing this game for quite a while now. I think it's underrated as far as adventure games go. It doesn't have any real dangers or possible attacks from marine predators, but it allows you to explore a beautiful undersea world while learning about sea life and searching for treasures.
This game was a beautiful game, and maybe one of the best things is that it's very soothing while still being absolutely horrifying. Air content, large glistening beasts of the ocean, claustrophobia-inducing cave systems, or just the pressure of the endless ocean on top of you as you descend.
This game feels like a distant memory of my childhood that I lived in a far drifting waking dream. Its so bizarre now seeing thiscand trying to get back into playing it again.
I remember seeing a Oarfish for the first time ever in this game when I was like 10 I freaked the hell out I’ve never seen anything like it. I wish I can go back to these days.
I used to play this all the time at my grandparents' house when I was REALLY young. I never remembered the name until now, and I'm getting hit with memories.
This wonderful game definitely influenced ABZU, and that's another game with a similar relaxed and artistically rewarding feel. This is its own little genre of gaming - one in which is therapeutic, fulfilling, enriching, and beautiful.
I bought this online as a kid and was really excited about it, but after an hour of playing I realized I couldn’t fight Kraken and dropped it. I’m gonna find my old Wii and replay it now.
