What cause shocks bussings to damage
Hey, my car rear strut is toast or the top mounting plate for shock is gone...
I can grab just under the top of the shock where it mounts to the plate and spin it around and what not or if i grab the wheel and simulate bumping you can see and hear it moving around(Top of shock), i dont know if its the shock or the bushing that go inbetween the top of shock...
I am also thinking that it could be the top bolt has come loose on the shock/strut allowing it to have play it clunks and knocks pretty good when hitting the slightest bump...
That is your upper shock mount. Had that issue on my 2011 ford edge
My left rear shock is oily and leaking. Do I need to repair my rear shocks in a pair or I can just replace the bad rear one?

@@garyshane7155 after replacing shocks, trailing arms and control arm just saw today that the knuckle bushings are bad .
I just bought 2 rear shocks a month ago but the car when i drive it keep bouncing is that a sign of bad shocks or
sometimes the spring rates being different can cause bouncing
