Am I the only woman with "poor Mom uber-casual style" who enjoys watching these videos even though they have no intention and/or not enough dinero to adopt these styles? I think it may be a virtual window-shopping phenomenon, but I'm not really sure.
Simple, basic pieces are very easy to find on a small budget I love these videos for inspiration then I recreated with what I already have or what I can afford
This past year I have picked up some wonderful clothes from all over on a budget; you have to look but it is out there. I am slowly replacing clothing with more simple, chic clothing that will match; I hate having a closet full of clothes but never have anything to wear.

You see, I won't even venture wearing white Old Navy jeans or striped anything on a typical day with my fairly active 8-year old because the outfit will quickly turn into a rainbow canvas of vibrant stains ranging from the bike oil and Crayola feltmarker variety to a panopoly of grass and food stains (ketchup, mustard, gravy, berries, Gatorade, etc.). But Kudos to all the tidy, well-groomed Moms who can pull this off!
With all due respect, this way of dressing is a trend among content creators. There are no personal touches, it's all repetition and carbon copy: neutrals, stripes, monochrome. There is a lack of personal style (rich or poor). Gone are the days when Emmanuelle Alt went out in jeans and t-shirts and it was a real novelty because it was different.

Un titre comme « Style of ELEGANTE women over 40 » ou bien « Classic and timeless style of chic women over 40 » aurait été préférable que celui que vous aviez choisi; particulièrement pour cette vidéo. De plus, vous avez utilisé le mot « riche » plusieurs fois en quelques minutes ce qui m’a complètement découragé à regarder la vidéo jusqu’à la fin! Gardez votre essence français car ça vous distingue des autres, peu importe ton porte-feuille en France car le style et l’état d’esprit qui va avec ne s’achète pas! À la prochaine vidéo

Following trends and fashions is a waste of time - wear what suits and flatters you. Classic and stylish is always better than fashionable and trendy. Trying to look rich, whether you are or not, is vulgar and ridiculous - unless you enjoy being mugged. I think you could find a different name for the classic, relaxed style that you are talking about.
My sister has had this look for over 25 years, since Theory started making clothes. They are quality clothes with medium range prices and can be purchased on sale.
I’m 70 and I’ve been dressing this way since forever but during my time it was simply dressing properly and no one ever thought of “naming” it rich mom dressing. It’s ridiculous. These days everyone seem to be obsessed with the “rich” ways of dressing etc. Hilarious. All said, I enjoy Alice esp her accent…very English Frenchy…super. More videos pls.

Well, I am a mom and when I go somewhere that calls for a put-together outfit, I wear it. That said, if you have to deal with babies and toddlers, you need to have minimal jewelry (they tend to pull them off) and clothes that can be washed easily, as little children are messy. But, they get past that stage by the age of 5 or 6 and then all this is perfectly appropriate, rich or otherwise.
I think the slicked back, tight hairstyle is a no-no when it comes to looking effortless and sophisticated. It’s trying too hard to look sophisticated and mature, if that makes sense. It ends up coming off as very Kardashian and trend-driven. Forced.
Love his video. Since you lived in Miami, can you add a rich woman style for hot weather? I am over 50 and do not want to show my arms. I can do Paris style with the coverups but no sweater or jacket please for casual Miami.

This style is NO different from regular classic style. A rich mom or any mom is not going to wear earrings with a baby anyway. They wd get pulled off in a second. I don’t think any of these women in your videos are moms, lol all models.
I tried to look my best even when my kids were toddlers! It made me feel good! Yes, they were trying to pull my earrings or necklaces 😂, but they learned the word "No" early😂.
I make an effort for the drop off because I'm usually then going out or feel comfortable wearing it at home. Then I make an effort for the pick up because the kids should know I'm prepared for the afternoon. But if I'm post night shift who knows what I. Wearing as long as it's clean with big sunglasses.
Where did you get the marinère with the red heart? It's so cute. I know Sezane will embroider a heart on their tees, but I have never seen the sweatshirt with the option.

I think tailoring is key as well. Some of the influencers wear pants that are way too long and miss the mark with that small detail. I very much enjoy this style as a basis to add personality to.

Italian style is more show off. French style ( Parisian style ) is more discreet.

I find many Italian women look vulgar. I prefer the French style for sure, but I do love to colour in summer, solid colour.
