Alice is 💯 right I totally agree with her As an older French woman I would say exactly the same thing Class is not logo Love your choices Alice As a routine for my skin I just discovered Typology a fab French brand full of serums … congrats 🎉
I think each person should understand their own style and buy what they like. This way you are not following trends and being true to yourself. I really wanted a Chanel bag because I just wanted one. So I bought one at a Chanel boutique in Paris and took a photo with my Chanel shopping bag in front of Coco Chanel’s staircase. This in itself was the full experience that gives me joy. I love my Chanel bag and it is a classic bag. If it makes you happy, go for it!
I completely agree with your stand on the Hermes. I feel the same, build your wealth first, no fake but good quality clothes that you can afford and not for social status. I find the logos tacky as well
I really appreciated your honesty at the end and I love the line “you don’t buy a Birkin, you earn a Birkin.” Too true. I wore my H belt cinched around a bulky Marant coat a few weeks ago and it looked great! 😂 I do not wear them otherwise…Lagerfeld famously said, “trendy is the last stage before tacky” and I couldn’t agree more. Great video!
Fantastic video, Alice, merçi! When I changed my mindset to “Do I want to make this company rich or do I want to make me rich?”, my spending habits changed dramatically. I have a spending plan which includes needs, wants, dreams, and goals. I still buy the rare luxury item, but I am very discerning & selective , and will save for it/earn it, if I want it that much . Keep going with your great videos, Alice. I appreciate them. ❤
You are the first facion bloger that offers to invest in education. Huge respect for that. How you wear clothes and how you present yourself means much more than what you wear.❤❤❤
Those belts are tacky when they are in large sizes. I look absolutely classy when I wear a modest dress with my small Gucci belt. It’s how you wear it.
That's the reason that my favourite bag is my old Bottega Veneta. There's no logo anywhere, just a subtle embossing on the inside. The intrecciato is subtle as well on this one but tough as old boots.
I purchased my Hermés belt after Carrie wore one in Sex & the City. It definitely has become less niche. The belt buckle has scratched and I never wear it anymore.
I enjoy your vlogs. Variety is the spice of life. As for the Gucci Marmont belt, I have that belt and have no problems with it. A couple years ago, I found two on resale and bought them which works fine with how I style some of my outfits. Plus, I'm one who basically buys what I like anyhow and am not attached to only current trends. I have been the same way during all of the decades of traveling to Europe regularly, Paris included a few dozen times, since the 1970s when I was in my early 20s. Back in the day, I remember wearing styles that I was told that folks don't wear in Paris, but then fast forward about a decade later and Parisians were wearing them. One needs to find one's own personal style and not get so influenced as to what to wear and what not to wear or else one will start looking like influencers and not themselves. I'm glad I grew up before the invention of the internet and the flood of influencers. I watch influencers for both entertainment and also to see what fashion items are available out there as it saves me time when shopping. Then I, and only I, decide what I will or will not buy and will or will not wear. And as for LV luggage, I bought a 60cm Bisten suitcase in 1988 from an LV boutique in a Scandinavian country. I also bought a 50cm hard-sided one a few years prior at LV in Monte Carlo. I brought them home and had my luggage guy here make sturdy brown canvas covers for them of which are still on them. The suitcases underneath still look new. I love my LV hard-sided suitcases. As for Tumi, I've also owned a line of Tumi hard-sided suitcases for well over a decade and other Tumi items for a couple decades or more. I've owned a lot of luggage from various brands since back when I was a teen. What type of luggage I use for trips depends on where I'm going. Greetings from Los Angeles
Thanks Alice..I love your accent above all….but I like it that you give great advices…I’m going to Paris in Feb to get bags from Maison Guibert and Atelier Auguste…
I have a few Hermes belts and have worn them for years I disagree that they are poor quality or overrated- mine still look new and are great to travel with because they are reversible. I dont know or even care if they are in or out according to 'social media' ; ill continue to wear and enjoy them !
I never regret buying skincare, it's my face and its worth every cent. I am 51 btw and when u reach that age skin needs care and i refuse to do lasers and stuff. I want to age naturally with CARE.
Great video and great message about investing “in things that can’t be taken away from you”, like education. It is so hard to buy your first home these days and when I see young people blowing what little money they have and probably going into great debt for a thing that only has value because you think others will see you as better, I think of how they have no idea of the real cost of fabricating this illusion.
After having two very difficult pregnancies, my “push present” ( as Americans call them) were two LV handbags. One is big, the other small. I absolutely adore both my bags, they’re the only luxury items in my closet and they remind me of my strength as a mom. They remind of my two beautiful children… I couldn’t care less if they have logos or not or what people think, because they have a sentimental value to me.
I used to buy La Prairie skin caviar complex creams. Even though I loved the texture of it I felt like I actually saw more results with Renergie creams from Lancôme so there you go. Love Estée Lauder too. Great video!
I’m so grateful to you for telling me your real feelings about luxury goods. The way you speak is calm and respectful. I respect you and your opinions. I did buy a LV bag and I’m not resentful of you telling me your opinion. In fact you have guided me to think differently and I’d probably save money over my future shopping as well as collect items of better taste. ❤️❤️❤️Thank you Alice!
Luxury items always have ridiculous prices. If you are not into it then go investing but there are more to life than just making money all the time. Sometimes you just wanted a little lux item or lux experience in life because when you're dead you won't be able to enjoy your money yourself. All of these are just things so have a little fun, a little lux and as long its not your money or debt it's no concern of yours.
Greetings from London. I enjoy your videos; as a straight guy I find the style element really interesting. Please feel free to add a men's segment! Merci Alice :)
Agree about the large logo belts looking tacky. I do have several pairs of Saint Laurent sandals (no logo), and they are excellent quality, had them for years and wear them every summer and they still look good. I also have an LV Alma bb, in the black Epi. I’ve had it for like 5 years and still use it all the time. I don’t consider it a trendy bag.
Wow! This was a lot of great information -- saving us mistakes. Loved the suggestions, Alice. Also, I think your concept of investment and waiting until one reaches a certain level of success to get a bag commensurate with that status, is wise and unique. I have a gorgeous niece who married a billionaire's son -- she could buy any product on earth, if she wanted and she dresses well but modestly and discreetly. I have never seen any logo item on her. I think that speaks volumes.
Alice, you hit the nail right on the head when you said these luxury items you won't wear all the time. In my opinion they are strictly for wealthy people, people who earn a very high salary, and can afford to wear a pair of shoes for instance, only very occasionally ❤
Also, a big thing I'm not sure you mentioned is that people need to be realistic about if they even have a need or place to wear these items. I do not have a Birkin or Kelly on my list because for my lifestyle/job I would have nowhere to use it very often. ❤
Alice, thank you so much for speaking up: the glossy magazine ads, for these items, cost ten of thousands a page. Plus, the La Mer cream is said to be virtually the same formula as Nivea.
No I have used both and definitely different; now there are other brands have say they are like LaMer and they are not either; my husband said I have spent the equal amount I would have on getting the LaMer; so I now buy only LaMer usually one small jar last me an entire year; I especially like this during the winter time.
If you really want to take care of your skin, invest in a dermatologist and they will tell you 1) wear sunscreen whenever you are out 2) what keeps skin looking good is good health, hydration, a healthy diet and wearing barrier products that keep moisture in. Effective products are not necessarily expensive; go for efficacy and product reviews by expert organizations (not labels)! I worked in the cosmeceuticals industry and aside from these basic beauty steps, what you are buying is hope in a jar - don't waste your money. Invest in care, and, if you like botox, laser treatments and things that actually do something to your skin to improve its appearance.
Love your comments in the final part of the video. So many IG "try hards" flashing their designer goods without status to match these items are reducing the value & caché of the goods. I don't want to look like an IG wannabe & so am more interested in subtle, creative, quiet but personal fashion choices. Best of luck in reaching your goals & love your content 😊🎉
I am Spanish and I grew up with the same values as you over quality, luxury. and style Class and style are personality trates and attitudes not money or statues. .. Plus like in France in Spain we grew up going to independent boutiques rather than big department stores and malls. I used to work in Harrods for Loewe and Montblanc by the way and apart from my Estee Lauder Night Repair Serum, which I am devoted and I absolutely agree with you I used to buy underwear in the boutique opposite Harrods despite our discount in a boutique called Rigby&Peller and cosmetics in Space NK just opposite Harrods...
Such a good point. I live in the United States where we are bombarded with department stores and malls. I wish there were more boutiques in my area. I have wasted so much money on trends and luxury dupes. Thanks for the reminder.
I dont think there is anything wrong with logos. I like the Gucci offers, and I like the logo. They look nice like that. The economy is just so bad right now that no one wants to look obviously wealthy. Its not just a matter of being gouche.
The best and most unique belts and artisan buckles are at Losco in the Marais. 20 Rue de Sévigné, 75004 Paris. This is where all the chic and in the know Parsians shop.
Excellent video. For me, the definition of luxury is not being broke. Luxury is financial freedom. Luxury is not being a wage slave to buy things you can’t afford. Luxury, regardless of your status in life, is the ability to occasionally splurge reasonably. I would much rather spend 10K on a month long vacation for my family to travel, to learn, to experience, to enjoy one another. We only have a short time to experience this world. Invest in those you love, not a stupid purse. Don’t be the fool for people who would readily laugh at you as you give them the fruits of your labor.
For skincare, La Roche Posay is a good brand. I used their Retinol with excellent results. CeraVe has good everyday creams for someone on a budget and Paula's Choice has nice exfoliation creams. The Ordinary also has good products.
Agreed... I have used CeraVe vitamin c serum for a year and my skin is transformed. La Roche Posay sunscreen is fantastic too. Paula's choice is excellent as well ... don't be fooled by 'sparkle'..read the ingredients..do your research, it will serve you well.
Love your videos! Everything you say is so true. Everytime I see someone with logos, brand name products I feel so sorry for them, as the reason for such display is not having enough confidence in themselves. In order to feel confident, they need to wear branded items to be seen. However, I find such display cheap looking as I know that the quality of those products may not be good, but it's all about the logo and the look. There is a reason wealthy people dress in quiet luxury and elegance. That is at least how I was raised.
Oh just calm down on the condescension. You feel sorry for them while they are enjoying their items and living their lives. Understated or not, the wealthy wear logos too.
For me, logos will never be trendy. I've always felt quite insecure wearing them even if the others do. By insecure, I mean.....I hated the attention they got and they made me feel more at risk so I sold my obvious logo items. I feel 1000% more comfortable with logo-less luxury goods and if someone recognizes the brand, thats them.
I enjoy your videos. You give very good practical advice and inspire people to live well and elegantly. No one really wants to waste their money. I think it’s great that you advise people to invest in themselves.
@@ChristineNieves-jv4iy thank you :) I personally met extremely wealthy people in the US and it's what they taught me. Invest in something nobody can take from you :)
I agree with everything in this video although I am guilty of purchasing an Hermes belt although I did get a subtle buckle, but otherwise, I've been saving my money for travel!
I agree that trendy bags are tricky, but belts offer so much versatility. You can use them to cinch a dress, jacket, or any outfit, adding a polished touch. Plus, you don’t need to display the entire logo-just drape a top slightly over it for a subtle look. Belts are also more affordable compared to bags, and they are clean, sharp, stylish, and durable.
i do agree on skincare someway .. i use Sothys and Korean skin care creams but I also love Nivea, cream for 8 eur cleaned and repared my skin even better than cream for face for 80 eur.
So glad I never bought any of these . Though had contemplated it at one time. long before finding your channel . Thank you For validating what instinctively deep down I knew was just off
Thank you for this interaction and inspiring video. I absolutely agree with you. There is also a buzz in SoMe about Hermes has changed its customer attitude policy and I hope people will be more cautious about them spending. It would be great if you could also prepare a material about your favorite makeup products. 😊
Hi Alice! I discovered your vlog recently and in your company I feel like an old friend with whom I can spend hours in meaningful communication. Thanks a lot for this! I recently turned 50 and would like to ask you for video advice on what to avoid and what to wear according to my age, how to keep my youthful style without looking pathetic. Thanks in advance lovely Alice! Flo from Bulgaria
I am new to your channel and it's terrific! I worked in high level jobs in fashion and beauty at top brands (including Gucci and Valentino) and the costume jewelry @ Valentino had high price tags ONLY because it bears the Valentino brand name - we used to laugh at the mark-up AND the people wasting their money just because it was Valentino. There are innumerable very high quality brands to be had and their value lies within the item; NOT the logo that they slap on the front. But you have to know how to look for these items and you also need to understand that everything that any designer produces is done to make money. A cotton T with Prada slapped on the front is still just a cotton T. You are paying to advertise their brand for them and generate income for them. Always buy because you love the item and not the name attached to it. It is not elegant to advertise whose designs you are wearing due to their logos spread all over the place - doing this will just remind people that you want folks to know that it's "that" expensive brand. Valentino, Gucci, Prada et al don't make money on their couture because their customer base is small; they make money off the accessories and small items that are affordable to a larger audience. Those who can afford couture would never bring attention to the brands, because they don't want to draw attention to themselves or their wealth because 1) they are secure in who they are and don't need you to know who made their socks and 2) they don't want their privacy and security compromised. Finally being well dressed, elegant and having style has nothing to do with what you spend and everything to do with how you put yourself together. I bought my Burberry raincoat in 1984 - it's so well made it still looks new. I bought my Ferragamo evening bag that same year - still looks good. I bought my new Christian LaCroix suit from a thrift store for $40 - adored it but never wore it and finally resold it last year.
When it comes to skincare, what works well for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another. A plastic surgeon one said to save your money on moisturizers because they really don’t do much. He said get a good vitamin c serum, sunscreen and a retin a/retinoid for night. The rest is all about the same.
Honestly, people are blinded by labellust. Look at the item, the materials and the fit. Does it suit you? How much is Iran is it worth that for you? Yes? Buy it, if not leave it. So many so called luxury brands are charging very high prices for mediocre quality and service. That’s not luxury. Most mid range brands pricewice offer much better products and craftsmanship.
Thank you Alice. So refreshing to hear your honesty and to highlight the insanity about purchasing high priced creams that have beautiful bottles and toxic ingredients. Kreme a brand well known in France, is a mid price cream that is non toxic and works very well when combined with your favorite oil and mixed together in your own hand. You improve your skin and you do not go broke! ❤❤❤
Your last comments were wow ! You have such a healthy mentality about these things. Most people unfortunately lack the education (in a sense that these things have to be taught) about money and how to have a good relationship with yourself. This irrational spending is a disease and companies make huge profit from it. The influencers are just another tool these companies use. I don't even follow such people anymore. There are so many creative people that you can actually learn from.
I enjoyed the video . . . But I also enjoy my Valentino belt. Not the large one. It’s my everyday belt for jeans and slacks. I also love my Gucci belt which has a normal buckle, not the logo. These two are my go to’s and are holding up to a lot of wear. As is my YSL camera bag. These are workhorse pieces in my wardrobe and I am glad I bought them.
You are right! This video should be played on schools and universities. Congratulations to your parents who raised such a wise girl! PS. Je vous souhaite d' avoir plein de bonheur dans votre nouvelle maison ! Le sac Hermes viendra. ❤
The iconic late Jane Birkin herself no longer wanted to own the bag named after her. So in my humble opinion, class is how you carry yourself and treat others. I personally own a LV handbag but it is plain (no logo print). Nothing against those who love the logos but I personally prefer to admire the quality of the artisan's craftmanship. I also own a couple of Bottega Veneta bags because they are so well-made and do not have a flashy logo. I inherited a simple Gucci bag from my grandmother, no frills or logos, just good quality that still looks great today. But this is just my own personal preference. I also believe that you should wear your clothes (accessories, etc.) and not the other way around.
I agree with what you say. My old LV is the Brea in vernis leather with the embossing (no big print) and it's indestructible. The Bot Venega is an old subtle intrecciato with no logos or outside markings at all. Lovely, understated and also very tough.
Hi you have a great sense of style. The designer bags and shoes are just beautiful so lucky to have them You know they are expensive but they are so beautiful. I wish I could buy them. We,l made and looks amazes 🥰🎉🥂🍾💕🎁
Grazie! et merci. Very good video-- great information. My mamma used to say the "luxury logos" were tacky-- Question: Brunello Cucinelli makes extremely expensive clothing-- as does Miuccia Prada.... In Milano one can get the same quality for a lot less. For me, they are "more sophisticated" brands.....the gentleman is wearing Gucci shoes....;) Also, Sisley are extremely expensive. (if you say it's worth it over La Prairie or Valmont, great,) My personal goal is to give zero money to the Arnault family. Basta. I hope you enjoy your Birkin when you get it. Just remember: there are places where people will try to steal the sac rather than the money. My decision is to have as much peace of mind as possible in the world. a late Happy 2024!!!
The rich with class do not wear logos or monogramed stuff. Those who wear them are those who have no class but have money and they think they can buy status. They're so wrong! If they knew how classy people laugh at them on their backs. And those boutique workers most of the times have more class than the customers.
Thank goodness, I never owned a pair of Louboutins. Years ago, I wanted them badly, but my family said, “ no way!” (Because of the ridiculous price) Videos and posts of real-life people experiencing buyer’s remorse with Louboutins made me change my mind. That saved me lots of money and sanity. I agree that mid-priced shoes (between lower-priced/quality mall brands and luxury designer) are the sweet spot. For example, Ally NYC’s shoes, including its signature 75mm classic stilettos, are astonishingly comfortable with its plush cushioning and excellent arch support. It also comes on four widths. The Black Friday sale is the best time to purchase them (and sample sale if you know your size). Ally NYC shoes are pricey (but nowhere near Louboutin prices), but the comfort makes them worth it.
well, I love my LV suitcase. It's a cabin bag so I always have it with me. It still looks perfect after 4 years of constant use. It could only get ruined after the plane crash. But then I wouldn't care, would I? 😜
Maybe we should do what we love, and forget about what was trendy six years ago and is out today. One, it will come back if you wait long enough. Two, stop following "trends" altogether, then nothing will be out and nothing will be in, just a closet full of what you enjoy.
Hi Alice! Have you ever considered going for organic skin care products for example Cattier, Logona (French brands) and/or Weleda, Lavera, Dr. Hauschka (German brands)? And I'm not even talking about Caudalie, Vichy etc which are mostly "green pretending". Because ALL big cosmetic and skin care brands are definetely not organic, neither L'Oréal, nor Estée Lauder!
Excellent and really true statement - people who buys these luxury products does not have the lifestyle, social status and taste. They think wearing these product comes with these. Instead invest, work hard and earn your wealth. Then buy these products. Often when you have money, you want your money to work hard for you. Instead of wasting on these luxury stuff.
I buy so called “luxury” items purely for their utility value and durability. Some of the items I have are, 1, Watches from Rolex, Omega, JLC and Grand Seikos. 2, A laptop bag from COACH which I take to work every day and have been doing for years! Also have their belt. 3, A leather biker jacket from BELSTAFF 4, winter jackets from Canada Goose, 66North 5, I just bought a a travel duffle bag from LV called the the keepall 55 bandouliere. Its on the way! Am I doing this right?
I couldnt agree with you more on the last point... the other day a UK influencer made a video on how it is not safe to wear designer bags in London.... I made exactly the same comment... these bags were made to ladies who were driven around with a chauffeur, these bags usually should come with the lifestyle and usually the lifestyle comes first.... what is the point in having these bags and wearing them on the underground... or constantly worrying about being robbed. Have a nice workbag, like yourself, maybe one or two smaller ones when you go out, but that is all. Until you get there, look after yourself, your health, your skin, invest into your connections, education. Also influencers quite often just take a photo with the bag and then they send it back....no point in spending on these if other areas of your life would need that money. Designer things are nothing if you are not healthy, fit, educated, in 10 minutes it will come out. Of course a bit of investment into nice pieces is fine to look polished but not on LV, Dior, etc level.
Luxury items makes the wearers pretentious although it boost confidence. For people with low self esteem it gives them great satisfaction once complimented by friends or colleagues. For those who are trying hard, the bigger the logo the better, loud and tacky.
Hi excellent point some do buy lux items but don’t have the real lifestyle or profession or education to back these items up. Good point. Education profession very important than buy lux items great apt or house in great area first than pocketbook etc
Hear me out - don' buy the brand. Buy the item. Want a leather bag? Find an artisan and have it commissioned. Want jewelry? Buy the jewelry piece, not the brand (Van Cleef is 20-30x of what it's worth, same with Cartier, Tiffany etc. Avoid them! want gold? Buy gold. Want a certain design? Again, cheaper to commission it). Leather shoes? Buy leather shoes. DO NOT BUY BRANDS! Brands, especially luxury brands, are an automatic 20-30x mark up. Don't be an idiot, don't buy them.
Saying that ”you don’t buy a Birkin, you earn one” is unfortunately buying right into Hermes marketing strategy. It is JUST a bag people!
If you are not familiar with Collectors world I understand that it is only a bag, which not... The rush doesn't come from finally getting the bag but from the journey the exclusivity , process, the waiting, the right contact, the right sales ambassador, the chace, the rejection, the trying building a portfolio to get in, that's the adrenaline... Right. Plus I don’t live in Paris. I do my Gucci belt in the mini size with dresses and I am far from tacky. More like modest and timeless 🤓
Alice is 💯 right I totally agree with her As an older French woman I would say exactly the same thing
Class is not logo
Love your choices Alice
As a routine for my skin I just discovered Typology a fab French brand full of serums … congrats 🎉
Totally agree!❤
Key word: French. Most of us aren’t and don’t look to Paris for what we like.
I think each person should understand their own style and buy what they like. This way you are not following trends and being true to yourself. I really wanted a Chanel bag because I just wanted one. Me neither

I have never been one for buying designer items, I prefer quality items, I always look forward to your videos 🙂

Great video! Thank you for having the balls to say what all the influencers know is true. You're awesome!!❤❤❤
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 An education is the one thing nobody can take away from you! And choose a major wisely. Pay yourself first ❤
Thanks Alice..I love your accent above all….but I like it that you give great advices…I’m going to Paris in Feb to get bags from Maison Guibert and Atelier Auguste…
Hi Alice! I went shopping today for basics. I felt so liberated not getting sidetracked by flashy things. Thank you for all these links too!
I have a few Hermes belts and have worn them for years I disagree that they are poor quality or overrated- mine still look new and are great to travel with because they are reversible. I dont know or even care if they are in or out according to 'social media' ; ill continue to wear and enjoy them !
The quality isn’t what it used to be with leather goods.
Love my Kelly belt. It’s gotten me through a few pregnancies. It’s the only belt you need
I wholeheartedly agree with you, Alice. Great content. Merci ❤
I think that speaks volumes.
thank you Liz
Alice, you hit the nail right on the head when you said these luxury items you won't wear all the time. In my opinion they are strictly for wealthy people, people who earn a very high salary, and can afford to wear a pair of shoes for instance, only very occasionally ❤
Also, a big thing I'm not sure you mentioned is that people need to be realistic about if they even have a need or place to wear these items. I do not have a Birkin or Kelly on my list because for my lifestyle/job I would have nowhere to use it very often. ❤
You are very wise in your advice!
Alice, thank you so much for speaking up: the glossy magazine ads, for these items, cost ten of thousands a page. Plus, the La Mer cream is said to be virtually the same formula as Nivea.
I have both and they are not the same
No I have used both and definitely different; now there are other brands have say they are like LaMer and they are not either; my husband said I have spent the equal amount I would have on getting the LaMer; so I now buy only LaMer usually one small jar last me an entire year; I especially like this during the winter time.
Invest in care, and, if you like botox, laser treatments and things that actually do something to your skin to improve its appearance.
skincare dupes exist
Nope
@@katkat5420 thank you so much 😘😘
I dont think there is anything wrong with logos.
Yes! And these products are well-reviewed by multiple online organizations that are well-respected.
Remove the logo off the car you are driving too.
Oh just calm down on the condescension. You feel sorry for them while they are enjoying their items and living their lives. Understated or not, the wealthy wear logos too.
Designer costume jewelry is such a waste.. save it for the designer handbag or invest your money
Such good advice, thank you!
Hi Alice, even if i don't spend my money on luxury things i wanted to thank you very much for this Great video full of great advices ! Bonne soirée !
Excellent advice.
I love my Gucci belt ❤
Love how you say “munnayy” ❤
Love your brain and sophisticated beauty. Gasp! The marble console table behind you is beautiful.
WEAR WHAT YOU WANT AND BUY WHAT YOU WANT, don't listen to what other people are saying. Live your life for you!
Agree. If you can afford it, why not? It’s your money to do as you please.
I am not aware about the new Hermes spending policy. Hermes has changed like the whole luxury industry.
Logo belts do look super tacky, almost as tacky as CROCS! Lol!
not almost.
Very useful video especially the last part.
Very good advice.
I still wear my Gucci belt that I've had for about 10 years now. I even wore it today lol. I don't follow trends so wear what I want when I want
Estee Lauder skincare is the best. It works. The Perfectionist serum is botox in a bottle. It’s not inexpensive skincare, but not LeMer prices.
When made with Chinese leather you never know where it comes from or what the leather is made of*preluxz* .
Great video. I totally agree with investing the money. I've received the same financial advice from the people who are very very wealthy.
thank you you don't work for money but money works for you
When it comes to skincare, what works well for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another.
I love La Roche Posay and Avene! Very reasonable :)
Concordo su tutto!! Video bellissimo.Grazie.
Im currently in paris on vacations and seen a good bit of logo belts being worn
Excellent video, thank you. May I ask you what you think of the Coach Rogue bag? Thanks :)
not my favorite from Coach video is coming next week
Well said!
Hi you have a great sense of style. The designer bags and shoes are just beautiful so lucky to have them You know they are expensive but they are so beautiful. I wish I could buy them. We,l made and looks amazes 🥰🎉🥂🍾💕🎁
Great video!!!
Thank You ❤
Grazie!
A luxury item I have on my list that I think will never go out of style and I will get a lot of use out of is the Hermès Frenchie ankle boot ❤
I absolutely agree
I love this video, Alice!
I like your point about reaching your professional and personal goals first, before you get your Hermes bag.
well, I love my LV suitcase. It's a cabin bag so I always have it with me. It still looks perfect after 4 years of constant use. It could only get ruined after the plane crash. But then I wouldn't care, would I? 😜
Can you please tell me where you purchase the block heels nude sandals.
merci
sezanep
Maybe we should do what we love, and forget about what was trendy six years ago and is out today. One, it will come back if you wait long enough. Two, stop following "trends" altogether, then nothing will be out and nothing will be in, just a closet full of what you enjoy.
don't follow the trend on social media. Gucci belt was ONLY trendy on social media
Hi Alice! Have you ever considered going for organic skin care products for example Cattier, Logona (French brands) and/or Weleda, Lavera, Dr. Hauschka (German brands)? And I'm not even talking about Caudalie, Vichy etc which are mostly "green pretending". Because ALL big cosmetic and skin care brands are definetely not organic, neither L'Oréal, nor Estée Lauder!
hello yes I buy Weleda, Hauscka, and others niche organib brands such as Kaufman, anne marie borlind
hello again, and what loewe and celine belt?
ok i do have celine and will buy loewe
Excellent and really true statement - people who buys these luxury products does not have the lifestyle, social status and taste. They think wearing these product comes with these. Instead invest, work hard and earn your wealth. Then buy these products. Often when you have money, you want your money to work hard for you. Instead of wasting on these luxury stuff.
Exactly!! Education whether formal or informal is always a great place to invest. You can’t buy classy. It comes from within.
Thank you!
Can u tell us why you have a chanel bag but you said dont waste your money on luxury handbag?
I buy so called “luxury” items purely for their utility value and durability. Some of the items I have are,
1, Watches from Rolex, Omega, JLC and Grand Seikos.
2, A laptop bag from COACH which I take to work every day and have been doing for years! Also have their belt.
3, A leather biker jacket from BELSTAFF
4, winter jackets from Canada Goose, 66North
5, I just bought a a travel duffle bag from LV called the the keepall 55 bandouliere.
I hate logos. As far as I'm concerned, THE DESIGNER should pay ME to wear their advertising! It so arriviste and tacky.
100% agreed 👍
Loovveee your videos ❤
Hi please talk about real paris perfume not the ones that are mass produced 🍰🎉☕️💕
