- This is the fastest and easiest way to change your spark plugs on your CanAm X3 Maverick. There is no need to remove rear fascia or exhaust or work in tight spaces. This will get you in and out in no time. Don't let the dealers take your money on something this simple. BRP recommends plug changes every 400 hours but if you ride hard, you may want to do it sooner.
also, changing plugs will get you the most out of your tune. I went with the BRISK iridium racing plugs and the difference is noticeable. Just know this, a top down approach will get you out and riding again very fast.

Those tiny electrodes on the factory plug are because it is an iridium plug. Any iridium plug I've seen has that design. They are considered the superior plug technology, and I can see why. My car's plugs made it to 160k and still looked like they had a lot to go, I only replaced them as I was chasing fuel economy gains, but it didn't make a difference, so my suspicion that they had more to go was probably right. If whatever random brand you got has a bigger electrode, I would be curious if it is even iridium, if not, it is likely a downgrade from the NGK stock plugs. Iridium tips are a tougher metal, more resistant to heat, and tend to last longer from what I've read and seen.
I cant get the gray aensors off coil. I did not rip top off im working from back. Where do you press i cant figure it out.
How you read 1 2 3 cylinder?
