Hello Marty, thank you for watching. I have not had the pleasure of riding one of these bikes. Hopefully you will follow along and I will take it for a spin when it's finished.
Hi there Jessie, thanks for watching! I think I used a product called Spray Nine it's pretty aggressive. I have finished the Sprint, and hopefully soon post another video.
@@cleaningrestoring4809 I'll be here looking forward to the videos to come, you bring great inspiration and hope to the sprint I have. could use all help and pointers from you in the future
Hi Brian, I put it that way so that I could do a through cleaning before I disassembled it. Thank you for watching , and I hope to do a final video of it finished and running.
I like this, I've been restoring and riding Sprints for 40 years, Bultacos too, I see palm trees, is it Cali or Fla? I like the acoustic blues and your soundtrack, I'll check out the rebuild later, very nice Sprint. From Port Orchard, WA.
Hello David, thank you for watching and commenting! This is my first experience working on Sprints. I'm located in Florida. Sounds like you have tons of knowledge about these! Btw I love the old 1970 dirt bikes/street bikes, and as a kid always wanted a Bultaco Pursang!
Hello Jessica, I'll be glad to get a picture of the points for you. I'll look through my manual for a good picture. I'm changing from the original system to a Vape electronic system.
@@cleaningrestoring4809 noooo. Way your the man. Thank you. Pulled a 65 h sprint out of my dad's garage when I was 5yrs old I'm 40 and its almost ready. Hahahah. Only took us half a lifetime to make a rider out of it. Hahahah.
@@jessicamosleyshewman9641 Hello Jessica, here's a link to the picture of the points and the electronic ignition system from Vape that I am using. I had to go through GoogleDrive because UA-cam does not allow you to directly upload photos. Hope it helps! Hey there, thanks for watching. Yeah, have a friend who said the same thing! Problem was the engine was locked up and I decided I would like to restore it the best I can. I checked your channel and love the crop dusters, spent some time working around them. Also see the motorcycles, is that a Flat tracker Sprint?
I had the 1975 350 sprint so much fun !

I have a 68 ss, and I'm not knowledgeable very about motorcycles. So, this is my 1st and maybe only. Any tips?
I would recommend getting a good service manual ( ebay has lots of them). Also connect with Lancaster Sprint, wonderful people. Good luck, have fun!
With a little dab of paint and some duck tape you gonna have a spectacular ride bro.!
For sure, I will be using my fine tuning metric 6 lbs hammer alot!
Which part of FL are you in? I'm in the Tampa Area...
Hey there MikeNY51, I'm is the Sarasota area. I finished the Sprint, hopefully I can put together r a final video. Thanks for commenting.
