- I review the best grow lights I have tested for a 3ft x 3ft or 90cm x 90cm grow space. These are the best grow lights from 250 watts to 300 watts I have tested and are available on the market today.

The calculation for 3 year cost is based on delivering 800 µmols average PAR to the plant canopy in a 3ft x 3ft area. The cost includes the price of the fixture and the cost of electricity at the average US rate of 16.8C per KW hour run for 3 years at 12 hours per day.

I’ve tried many Mars and vipars. But the functionality of splitting my Aray4s into different heights is my number 1 for the tent game.❤
I just wish he would make them so you can turn each bar on or off. My lunatek and Spider farmer se 3000 run with bars removed. that I add when the grow spreads out.

All my tents are Lit with Migro and no issues for over 2 years. Had Mars hydro and Spider farmer, neither lasted more than a year and a half

Viparspectra and Migro array 3 got this spot in my opinion.
But there is a new bar fixture from Bloomplus that looks great for a 3x3.

Vipraspectra and Migro on the top, as in the 2x2 grow space, great video as always thx. I have been researching info from several diodes (lm281, 301, etc ), and they differences but there isn't much info on yt, a video of yours would be awesome 😊
Plannts dont care whixh diode u have only how much PAR they deliver. I have 7 lights with sanaan lumileds osram samsung 281 301 h&b and epistar. They all still work no burnt diodes. Also i cant see any dif when using lumileds vs samsung. My mars hydro ts1000 with epistar diodes is 6 yeara old now works great

ive run a MH FC3000 for a couple of years , had to replace the dimmer box as i have on my other MH light , yes it works but not great build quality if I compare to my AC infinity or Viparspectra lights 😎

You should run the Phillips 3100k CMH against them. On paper it might lag but in the real world its a solid performer. Works really well for a 2x2 area.
Like my lunitek 6 bar Pro, the Spider farmer se 3000 will also work with bars recovered if you like to save energy costs and add the bars as the grow spreads out.
I have the spiderfarmer se-3000 in my small flower tent. Its the 28"x28"x62" . Amazing results. I keep driver and exhaust outside of tent. First run in it i yielded just under a 1lbs. This run will probably beat that as better structured strain this run

Shane, could you add a canopy light depth metric to your reviews? Some led fixtures throw more light farther down to the lowers with the same settings. It's definitely not linear between manufacturers according to my SpotOn par meter. ✌️
I currently have the viperspectra ks3000 and it'd the best light I have owned for my 3x3. My end product speaks for it self.

Aglex led has some interesting lights. I own the 240 watt variant, 250 €, and it seems a real bargain so far. Plants are growing very well.

2x2, 2x4, 3x3 or 4x4... Vipaspectra have truly nailed it for the average tent grower.
I've hot the vipraspectra xs1500 pro and the maxibright daylight 200w in my 4x4 homebox tent 🎪

Good to see how others are doing this before investing into bar style lights for full footprint coverages… won't be long I'll move up to newer style lights.. But rite now this actually is working!

KS3000. First time using it. (3)GDP Autos = 456g. The 2023 model says its rated for 320w, great coverage, heat easily controlled. Winter run in progress, hoping for similar results.
I've got the original Aray3 brilliant light but im thinking of getting the new version, what do you think?
I have a Maxsisun MG3000. It uses 289 watts and cost $269. It's PPF is 2.38 and 687 average. I got the measurements from Aldo Pepper on UA-cam. I have had it for 2 years and I love it. Manufacturer recommends hanging it at 18 inches, but it tends to give me light burn if I run it close to 100% so I hang it at 24.
Ks3000 is a monster. Its clearly more powerful the my fce4800. The evo chips are insanely bright
are the indicated hanging heights the optimal heights or why do they vary on the different lights ?

i use the old mars FC3000 ( not Evo) I am very happy with it, fits nice in a 80x80x200 an runs very cool when driver is out side tent.
Last grow i got around 150g more yield vs my old QB board( 250)
Maybe you can answer this, do all leds come with a Long cabel soo you can mount driver out side tent. very importen in the sommer :)

Had the Photontek (Lumatek) myself. Great built quality but the hotspot and the overall temeprature of the driver was too high. Would go for anything bar style any day
I'd be curious about how much , i use , 24/7 24/7, heats my space and plants thrive..why more growers no do this??

Plants dont care what diode lights them and unless u run 100 lights u shudnt care either

I have a question about the Viparspectra ks3000. It has amazing spread. But my question is about the light spectrum used. Is it a good spectrum to use for growing cannabis? I noticed it doesn't have as much 660nm red in the spectrum as other lights it looks like the peak is more around 640nm and the peak intensity of the blue is less than others. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it!

viparspectra says the ks3000 is a 320 watt light, sure the calculation is valid?
They bumped it up 20 watts for the 2024 model.
My space is limited. 3'x2' tent is all I have room for. What light would fit in a 3'x2'?
Should be able to answer that yourself by looking at the shape of the light and moreso the shape of the PAR map shown on screen for each fixture.

Iam using the Vipar Spectra ks 3000 now for 1.5 years and i am very happy with this light ! The only downsite is you can change the the light intensity olnly in 25 % steps !
have you tried a dimmer style light switch with it set to 100?

There is a way you can do this. I got my KS 3000 last summer and the driver that came with it were a bit different from the first driver that came with it. The one i got is more like the one you get with the KS 5000. It has the better driver with Daisy Chain and connection for a controller...lets say the AC Infinity Controller 69 as an example. The controller has Bluetooth so that you can do settings with the App. Other models have WiFi so that you always have control of your tent. Then you can control the dimmer much better. Maybe try to get the newer driver for your KS 3000...plus a controller. 👍👍👍

I don't know if I can believe this table that you presented here? or should I believe the measurements you made in the UA-cam video when you advertised the senelux LED, because in this table it appears that it is 792 pmols, while in the video that you advertised the same light, it comes out at 978 pmols?? ? should I believe you?

You always take leds like mars hydro or vipa sepctra,of course theyre cheap... take leds like sanlight to compare...
