I use Ayurvedic masks as a regular part of my regimen at least 2 times a month and I’ve obtained much stronger, thicker strands and markedly less shedding. I don’t mix with deep conditioner because I apply to my scalp and my strands and I reserve my deep conditioner solely for my strands. I make a tea, usually green and throw in some cloves and sage, let that steep for about an hour and use that as the base for my mask. Theres really no set recipe, I just eyeball it and mix with my stick blender until I have a smooth pancake like consistency to minimize the mess. I also add a few tablespoons of a carrier oil blend to make the mask more moisturizing. It’s ready to use as soon as it’s mixed, leave it on for at least an hour but no rule there either, rinse and follow up with a moisturizing rinse out or deep conditioner. With consistency you absolutely see results and there are so many herbs you can play around with, you quickly become a mixologist, lol! Thanks again for another great short❤❤❤.
Hi sis, I believe it. Someone said that henna/amla coat your hair and makes it hard for moisture to enter. Have you experienced that?? Because I am trying to make my individual hair strands stronger & nothing else works but I also need the moisture too
