Lol it was me telling you to listen to the Pot (on a couple of your Rush reactions). I sensed you were a Tool fan just waiting to discover them 😂. You have awesome Tool reactions. For sure you need to watch the Pneuma drum cam. Then personally I would recommend Euology, Right in Two, the Grudge.
Thanks for helping him discover Tool! His soundtrack of life will never be the same. I agree that the Pneuma drum cam is a must-do, and would probably be the best song for you to react to next. For you to HEAR though, I would recommend Aenima, H., Right In Two, The Grudge!
You really don't get the whole experience listening to Tool 1 song at a time. They don't write tracks like that. They callback to each other and fade from one track to another seamlessly..they just separate the tracks for naming purposes mostly. Like Lost Keys and Rosetta stoned. They are actually the same song split in two tracks basically. Kind of like how a movie has three acts but they all need each other to make sense.
15, 20 years ago where I live there was a radio station that had a weekly half hour dedicated completely to TOOL, and man, I looked forward to those two songs each week... 😅
So glad you are doing these tracks back to back. TOOL has a few cases where one track really does need to played after another. You are going to enjoy this ride! Let's do it!
Howdy once again, sir. I see a lot of Tool fans in here telling you about watching the Tool Danny Carey drum cam, next. I'd like to offer an alternative. My suggestion would actually be to listen to the studio version of Pneuma first. You want to digest the band as a whole, and some of the band is swallowed by Danny Carey's dominant play in the video. So maybe you could do a 2 part reaction to digest Pneuma in its original form first, THEN be able to see the incredible technical proficiency of Danny, in the live video. Obviously, I'm not forcing anything. Just offering up a suggestion, as I feel this would properly introduce the song, in its entirety. I say all this to say that the Pneuma drum cam video is THAT good. By the way: At some point watch the music video for this song. The climax and conclusion of the song is explained vividly. Its pretty incredible. BE WARNED: Tool music videos are...strange.
There are a TON of great rock and metal bands, not all of which will be for you. BUT, there's only ONE Tool. When they started dropping albums in the early '90's, I had never heard anything like them and was immediately a fan. Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Tool have probably been 3 of the most influential bands during the evolution of metal in my opinion. Keep listening and you'll find that Tool will eventually have you listening to music in general, differently. You'll be more... critical to detail and nuance. You may even find yourself somewhat bored with music you've previously enjoyed. Enjoy and embrace that growth and music will become even more valuable to you. Peace!
You will love Vicarious and Right In Two if you love The Pot. Welcome to the Tool Army, bruh. Also, thank you for the supportive reminder before the reaction. I’m struggling through a temporary valley in life, but you’re right; It’s only temporary. 🙂

There’s another reactor on YT, a gentleman by the name of Polo, who has an entire playlist of Tool reactions. Like 50 videos, essentially every single Tool song. Similar to you, he said he grew up listening exclusively to rap and hip hop so most other genres of music were new to him when he got into reacting. He also started with The Pot and loved jamming it. Then by the 4th or 5th Tool reaction he was like “this band is unlike anything I have ever heard before”. Drum solo for the end live you need to watch
The song is about the human spirit and we all are one and choosing to be on earth. This body holding me, all this pain is an illusion. It's a very spiritual song once you understand it. You need to dive into the nde rabbit hole, near death experience. Listen to it over and over and make another vid.
"It seems that all hell is about to break loose when we go to Parabola!" hahahaha You got it, Man.
God damn, the transition ALWAYS makes me feel like I'm about to explode. Absolutely one of my favorite Tool numbers and one definitely played at high volume.
Welcome to the Tool Army, JayTDeion! I've been thoroughly enjoying your reactions.

TOOL is one of a kind. Keep up with the TOOL reactions. 2 other rick bands to check out are Deftones and Rage Against the Machine.
Tool is absolutely one of a kind. There are bands that try to imitate them, but they're the one and only. Also, Vicarious should be your next one to react to. You won't be disappointed.
I hope you listen to Ticks & Leeches. Curious how you’d like that song.
