Guess what after watching your video I decided to have a garage do the flush tomorrow rather than do it myself, they will have a similar machine to yours, I had already acquired the genuine parts for my Mercedes transmission,
Having no paper trail for parts they are happy to do it for cash, hopefully, they will allow me to be close by whilst they do the work, I will get to see the condition of the oil coming out and test it for moister afterwards.

Is this a 722.6 or a 722.9 transmission? Looks a lot like the 722.6 5 speed transmission from the video, but it's in a W212. Almost all W212 E class sold in the US is using the 722.9 7G tronic transmission, which WILL require a lot more work than this. Only a hand full of W212 CDI will be using the old 722.6 tranny. This video is great for 722.6 though.

Interesting I’ve also herd that Mercedes is really good at hiding transmission fluid in their cars for instance I drained my 04 c320 and there was only like 3.5 quarts that came out but when I look it up it holds a great deal more where is it torque converter??
A friend of mine drank some of this and although it helped his fibro mayalgia it also gave of blue smoke when he broke wind ? He died soon after . Rip bob.👍

I had gearbox oil leak inside the water bottle, I replaced the radiator and changed the gearbox oil and filter. It drove for another 5 kilometres and stopped. When I put on D the engine turns off. What should I do? Pleas help me.

What's the story?
There is no ATF oil that is eternal and consequently there is no gearbox that does not need to perform maintenance.
Precisely for this reason that the manufacturers of automatic transmissions introduce 1-2 filters, magnets that retain dust from the clutches, etc. in the transmission.
A transmission reaches temperatures higher than an engine and the ATF oil wears out like all lubricants, thus damaging components if it is not replaced regularly.
In addition, it is also necessary to give a certain value to the quality of the oil used because produced with PAO lower than group 4 are not able to protect the transmission for all 60,000km thus having a higher acidification process that will damage o-rings, gaskets and so on.
All automatic gearboxes require regular maintenance as the ATF oil tends to acidify after 3 years or 60,000km, reducing the performance of your Opel and risking compromising the gearbox.

My advice is therefore to contact one of our professionals to carry out regular maintenance including washing of the gearbox in order to eliminate the dirt created by the dust of the clutches that has settled in the torque converter and in the hydraulic unit.

Kroon oil is for me the best Lubricants for automatic transmission. Is most important to use the Blue additives for Automatic transmission.

Generally the Mercedes E-Class W212 series is equipped with a 722.9 gearbox but change the oil if it is a version equipped with Start & Stop

hi sir I need help I have 320ecdi automatic my car was driving OK but for some reason I left the car park but now I switch on on dash it shows alternator faulty and speed sensor level 2 and it will only drive in 1st gear and reverse please can you help me to get my car back on the road.

The problem is that you have an alternator 's failure, and because of that the automatic gearbox went in "Recovery"

these bad ass flushing machines and additive solvents are FAMOUS for disturbing transmission particulates. This cause catastrophic failures in short order.

We provide the mechanic with a technical database exactly for this purpose. In Kuwait we have no official dealer though, please feel free to suggest one!
