Thanks for your videos, I had to tinker to solve the problem. I also replaced the TPS sensor, after which the problem went away completely. My motorcycle stalled even at speed; when the sensor got hot, it began to show incorrect readings.
Yes mate, this is typical of twin cylinders in particular of the tdm 900. But as you did, if well maintained and regularly cleaned and serviced with quality oil, these symptoms are greatly reduced. I still don't understand for Yamaha Japan the tdm is not decided to bring it back on the market. Honda has done this by bringing back another classic, the Transalp. Really questionable business choices. The Tracer just doesn't match. As always, great video and lovely bike like mine.
Ciao! Indeed as you told. I think that maintenance is very important, but recently in Japan, I feel that the users who do proper maintenance by themselves is decreasing. And also, The bike itself has a lot of computers intervening, and the places where we can maintain ourselves are decreasing, too. Yamaha seems to see the Tracer as a successor to the TDM, but it's still something different.
Nice.J'ai un tdm 900 de 2005 et il suffit de boucher le tuyau gris au dessus du filtre à air avec une visse (le débrancher de la cloche et le boucher). Beaucoup plus d'air entrera dans le moteur sous 4000 t/min.
Hi i have a tdm 900 with after market exaust co C1 13 and c 2 17 i think so its too low its not working good When i put c1 50 c2 53 its ok Next i have a problem with to much ?
Yes, you're right. It's not only the cause of the stalling and jerkness. I modified something else recently (air box mod), so I'll upload the video soon. THAT was the cause of the jerkness at low revs.

Merci pour votre commentaire.
Je ne le savais pas. J'adorerais l'essayer plus tard.
You can also increase idle rpm a bit.

Thank you for your comment. I'm happy to see your comment translated into Japanese!
Is this the first time you cleaned the throttle bodies in 45000km that I see on the clock?
I'm the third owner, but the previous owner didn't do it, so I think this is probably the first time doing it.

Hi.
Check the burn condition of the spark plugs, and if they are in good condition, there should be no problem, I think.
I have the same problem, but i dont belive its just some dirt in throttle body. Are you sure is it only that snall black dirt what you clean ?
