He started out here in East Texas playing the clubs and VFW halls. I’m glad he was discovered by the right guy one night at Cutters night club in Beaumont, Texas. We were all excited . Love hearing him even today.
Filmed at the Astrodome in Houston. This is something that can’t be described unless you were there. Mark was a rockstar with killer songs and amazing stage presence! I was there for sure but in high school but I’ll never forget his performance and especially the way it made everyone freak out because he was country music’s answer to everything that it should be (in my opinion and most of my friends at the time).

This was a hell of a show! Then again all of Mark's shows are great! I remember many years ago when Mark was just starting known in Nashville and played a little venue called 328 Performance Hall. It was the best show I've ever seen because of the raw emotion and his wanting to do something that he truly loved. I knew he was going to be big...he just had that "look". I met Mark several years later in a local bar in Nashville one night called the Wrangler while Mark was in town for a charity softball game that was going to be played at Greer Stadium, and he and I just sat there at the back bar and talked about an hour about nothing really...just two guys that ran into each other and were just hanging out enjoying each other's company. he's a really good dude for sure. The funny thing before I actually realized it was him was when I told him "dang dude...you'd look a lot like that singer named Marked Chestnut if you were a little bit taller". He just started laughing. Then at that very instant the manager of the club named Doug Bowman walked up and asked him to sign a photo to hang on the wall of the club and called him Mr. Chesnutt. I liked to have died! We both started laughing our asses off and he shook my hand, and like a gentleman took it all in fun and said goodnight. He's a real class act! It was a great memory!
I had the great pleasure of seeing Mark in Foxboro Ma. with Clint Black,Clay Walker and a very young Faith Hill. One of the best concerts I hav been to.

I saw him perform up close at the Saddle Rack in San Jose in the late 90's. Intimate setting. He was fabulous. One of the best country voices and artists, and his musicians, too....so underrated. Thank you for posting this wonderful video!!

Had the extreme pleasure of attending one of Mark’s outstanding shows at the old Valley Forge Music Center in PA. This place had one of the few 360 degree rotating stages I’ve ever seen. Beautiful place. It was smashed and turned it into a shopping center. So sad to see that place go.
Awesome years ago and now 2023 still fantastic music band entire #markchesnutt is now on my TV Country Hits and years ago I had to buy a Big Dish to get TNN. smiles found you Mark

This must have been the place to be during the 90s. I recently saw a badass Hank Jr concert 2 years after this one 1997 uploaded on here. Believe George Strait has had multiple concerts there.
Wow! No lip singing, no fakeness. Just pure country talent
Mark Chesnutt and Tracy Byrd are probably the two best performers of all time.
Mark chestnut is completely underrated! Have always been a huge fan.

Good to see a fellow neighbor from Beaumont giving recognition to Mark for his pure talent. From South Park to Houston Rodeo. What a ride

Hi Mark.
Who else sang at the Houston Astrodome in 1995? Can anyone tell me?
JM Edits this show was billed as TEXAS TRIPLE. Doug Supernaw, Tracy Byrd and Mark
JM Edits obviously SELINA QUINTANILLA
The only thing that could have made this song any better is if the Astros were in the original recording.
Selena Quintanilla hizo lucir ese escenario muy diferente 😌
Two words: Selena Quintanilla
que no ese ecenario era de selena y los dinos ?
