George started crying if I'm remembering it correctly...he saw the people there and her each one tell him what they mean to him and they didn't want to lose him....he agreed to go to rehab.. 3 months and got better and gained some weight, he was at 105 lbs at the time he went in. .came out like the old George...I hate to say but after a few months he went back drinking and all the other stuff.....alcohol was is choice, the cocaine he doesn't know why he got addicted to that....but, as messed up as WAYLON was he said looking at George he couldn't imagine losing him 😢😢

Johnny GIMBLE PLAYED WITH Willie FOR 8 ? YEARS IN THE 70 S . HE PLAYED SESSION WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE BEFORE THAT , I THINK . he was defenitely established before joining Willie . i dont know this gitar player that im aware of .

I said "No, this George Jones, the greatest country singer of the past 50 years., and btw it's Merle 'Haggard', the second best." See, Merle got laryngitis and asked George if he wanted to do the show..he did. I still have the ticket stubs, and they say Merle Haggard but George did the show! No show Jones was no longer an option..I've seen so many Pro sports and music events but this stub is my most cherished..
